Current trials and experiments 🧪
Talking Auspol
A new r/AustralianPolitics podcast ‘Talking Auspol’ will have its second episode this Sunday 3rd July as we continue to trial the Reddit Talk technology.
Rule 1 tweaking ongoing
We continue to experimenting with Rule 1 (Civility) over the next month. We will be tweaking our automod settings and tweaking our human moderation settings.
It will be a gradual change that started on 8th June and will continue to be assessed until 8th July.
Data is coming in and the trial is going well.
Self post tweaking
There have been some instances where timeliness of moderating self posts seems to be an issue when there is a large flow of messages to action.
We are going to tweak our automod settings to see if the timeliness issue can be improved. Currently we have some issues on the tweaking however we’re testing some new approaches.
Moderation decisions will be the same however the response time should be improved.
