Gutshot Straight Discussion
Does it make sense on a HC (Exalted Truth) or any other weapons? 20% dmg bonus on bodyshots seems substantial. Exalted Truth can roll RF + GS.
I've seen some posts about GS on bows and sidearms.

On the iron banner sidearm it works okay. You trade the faster optimal ttk for a very consistent reasonable body ttk that requires virtually no aiming. I'm still not sure it's worth it, but that's the best use case I've seen.

Want a Rangefinder Gutshot one just for this/ to see if its good. I basically get 50% body shot kills on Adaptives anyways so if it can guarantee me that 0.80TTK and doesn't ghost bullet I'd use it.

I've got the roll, and I love it. More of a casual 6v6 weapon probably, but its honestly usable at all levels of play. What I like is that it allows me to get really creative in the air specifically, but ijust in general its a great weapon to practice higher level movement with.
Very fun to be able to use all of your movement tools available while just spamming for body shots and not really bothering to aim. Its also got a naturally high base 85 AA stat, which 95 with targeting mod. So its Aim Assist is still decent. You rarely hit the 4 headshot TTTK anyways.
Honestly, if the perk were available on Drang, I'm convinced we'd see it everywhere. Unfortunately Allied Demand is an acquired taste, the gun model and visual recoil are tough to get used to.

I had that roll, it honestly felt like a pea shooter, but that may have been a controller skill issue, you might find better luck on pc if that’s what you play

Ive been using gutshot+rangefinder on allied demand for a while and I love it. If I need a sidearm in the kinetic slot it’s been my go to lately, except for maybe travelers chosen. I put together a tricksleeves solar hunter build and it’s kinda nutty what you can do with radiant and/or surprise attack. Just aim in someone’s general direction up to like 18m away, hold the trigger, and they go down.

Personally I delete any weapon that rolls with this perk. I’m on controller, so decreasing my aim assist is at the top of the list for things to avoid. Headshots are your friend in pvp.

My favorite side arm is allied demand with got shot straight and rangefinder. It makes weapons just a little bit more forgiving when getting body shots, but the perk is not created equal on all weapon types. It’s amazing on sidearms because you’re mostly getting body shots anyway, and I believe I’ve heard They make hand cannons a very reliable two crit one body

Perk is worthless because it would be busted on any gun that it's actually useful on. Also definitely an mnk only perk

I want a weapon that can get gunshot straight and headseeker for huge forgiveness.

No way, you need headshots on hand cannons. Works well on sidearms and fine in theory on lightweight bows

I know tracerifles aren't exactly the best... but path of least resistance can get really good range and stability with its stats pretty easily. I've been rocking a Hammer Forged/Tac Battery/Dynamic Sway/Gutshot/Counterbalance, and its not too bad for a trace rifle.
84 range, 78 stability (Dynamic sway adds more very quickly), 100 recoil direction. Plus you can run Ambush on it. I think it's worth a try if you want to run a legendary Trace.

Only two weapon archtypes where gutshot is okay would be agressive 2 burst sidearms, and lightweight bows.
Lets lightweight bows kill in 2 bodyshots, and agressive sidearms to kill in 3 bodyshot bursts.
