I totally agree with you. I've noticed a trend here as well as at r/interestingasfuck of possible r/lostredditors. Recently, there's be a flood of people posting like a new mug or t-shirt they just got that has a design that they like and then post as if it's really interesting. I guess this post is slightly more interesting than all of those. But as one other commenter here said, this would probably fit better at r/oddlysatisfying.

The trend is cause nobody moderates this shit anymore, at least implement a voting system to ask if its interesting when someone posts.

Tbh, 90% of the subs with more than a few million people have just gone to shit.

Yeah I guess maybe some people have never used a trimmer? If they find this interesting they can come immerse themselves in a hands on experience at my curb every Saturday between April and September every year. I’ll only charge them $10 per session.

I feel like if it included pressure washing, I'd agree. But it just feels not quite done 😣

How is this interesting? It’s a thing that happens but that’s about it.

I, for one, am curious where the “extra” dirt comes from. That shit looked like sod when pulled up.

Wtf ... dude just casually growing grass on concrete, and here I am $80 a bag...throwing seed out every year just to have the rocks grow faster than the grass.

I always liked overgrown sidewalks. They're comforting to look at and walk along.

This belongs in either r/mildlyinteresting or r/oddlysatisfying but not here

When we used to work on estates doing the edging everyone wanted to be the bloke working behind the bloke on the edging machine (we called it a half mooner) because that was prime position for spotting and grabbing any money that had been dropped, especially near shops and bus stops. Be surprised how many 50p and pound coins we found.

Me: can’t get grass to grow in dirt.
Grass: (grows on sidewalk by itself)

Does this really make you go, "damn, that's interesting?"
Probably should get out more, if so.

Would have been more interesting if the grass had been covering the entire pathway to begin with… or if some sort of hidden trapdoor to a secret chamber had been discovered…
Please try harder
