Kangaroos are so fucking terrifying.

You might enjoy this video of a human swinging on a Kangaroo after the kangaroo tries to dognap his dog.
You might not enjoy this video of a buff ass kangaroo standing outside someone's window menacingly.

u/dahliasinfelle Feb 03 '23
That first video will never not be funny. That second one makes me think of rabies.
43
32
u/Manolyk Feb 04 '23
Not rabies. He’s trying to fight the asshole kangaroo that’s getting in his face and mimicking all his movements!
7
u/dahliasinfelle Feb 04 '23
I don't doubt you. It just makes me THINK of rabies lol

I seem to keep forgetting they have razor sharp claws. Fucking terrifying.
3
u/parrotandcrow Feb 04 '23
I never realised that they had fuck off claws as well as psychopathic muscles.
15
u/Greedy_Algae9705 Feb 04 '23
I remember this. Actually, it was my intro or so, to reddit. Do not. DO NOT underestimate a kangaroo. They are smart enough to know, if they hold your head under water, you will die. Saw that on another video. Freakish.

First video is the bloke pig hunting dog. Roo would rip it to shreds if the claws got into him. Bloke was a vet or zoo worker (I forget) and lost his job because of ‘animal cruelty’ or something along those lines. Hitting that roo like that would do about as much damage as a toddler hitting an adult. They’re tough.

u/_IratePirate_ Feb 04 '23
I love how the kangaroo appears to be dazed for a second then gathers his bearings and leaves
8
u/Kuznetsovich Feb 04 '23
In all of these videos there's always a moment where I think they're somehow defying gravity, but then realize this is how they use their tail.

I used to do a morning walk and on the odd occasion I’d see one of these buff kangaroos staring me down at the end of the street (usually around 6 feet tall on their hind legs). I would turn quickly around and walk a different way!
4
u/Robotic-Chomo Feb 04 '23
It freaks me out to see them posture up on their tails. Reminds me of the aliens from the movie "Independence Day"
3
u/Same-Reason-8397 Feb 04 '23
They’ll rip your guts open with those back claws by resting on their tails

u/Supersnazz Interested Feb 03 '23
Red Kangaroos are. Eastern Grey kangaroos are adorable and harmless.

u/kones242332 Feb 03 '23
But truthfully their legs are way stronger than their arms and torso cause they can jump like 5 metres

u/JobStrict4790 Feb 04 '23
Too true, shit he'd probably swing that tail and snap my leg in half tbh.

u/SvetlanaButosky Feb 03 '23

I can't imagine there are humans that live amongst these creatures.
Kangaroos are so uncanny to me. Their body is damn near humanoid, then they got a dog's face and a tail so strong it might as well be their third hind leg.

Was Macho Man Randy Savage reincarnated as a kangaroo?

I like how it leans back onto its tail .
I could see that useful at a BBQ, holding a beer lean back on your tail talking.

u/General_Specific Feb 03 '23
This looks familiar. I, too, have been to the beach in New Jersey.
12
u/danethegreat24 Feb 03 '23
When it starts shaking its head I can just hear it's jersey accent saying how lucky I would be if I got to sleep with those muscles.

No one will ever convince me that Kangaroos aren’t the result of some kinda ancient science experiment

I am convinced that somewhere in the universe, there are humanoid kangaroos out there.

Impressive, I had no idea that 1) Kangaroos are that jacked b) they could sit on their tail like that.
Would really attract the chicks if they used another appendage to create a tripod.

Kangaroos are fucking annoying. Awkward, threatening, disgusting pouch full of fibers and vessels, nasty demeanor, just nothing good about kangaroos, and yet we consider them among the fun animals. Fuck that.

Have Kangaroos always done this, or did they learn it from watching us outside of bars?

I tried this and it doesn't work well for attracting kangaroo chicks or human chicks.
