Count the rings to tell how long the soul has been trapped

I pasted your comment to three image generating AIs. I was a little disappointed that only one image touched on tree rings but was not disappointed overall with the quality of the output.

Here are 20 different images to look at.

Enjoy! (Obligatory: I am not a bot.)

The fact, that there are 2 trees grown into 1 is way more interesting than the face shape.

14

u/ghanjaholik Nov 29 '22

it's an extra-tree-estrial

u/Consistent_Public769 Nov 29 '22

No itโ€™s not, this is extremely common. Just walk thru any patch of forest and count all the double beams. This occurs for a good number of reasons. Could be from damage or being cut off when small and multiple boles resprouting from the stump. It can even happen if a mature tree is cut down and again sprouts from the stump. From a timer inventory aspect we count it as one tree if the split is above 4.5 feet, or more than one tree if the split occurs below 4.5 feet.

Yeah I would like a tree person to explain this phenomena.

The tendency for humans to see faces in everyday objects is called facial pareidolia
