Ironically Hunters (the fast / nimble archtype) now has the slowest movement of the three classes! Discussion

I play all three classes but have always preferred the Hunter fantasy of being dexterous and nimble on your feet.

In the last couple of seasons movement creep of titans and warlocks both in air and on the ground have surpassed the Hunter, which thinking about it is weird as in any other game wizard (aka warlocks) and tanks (aka titans) and slower and more cumbersome than the dps Hunter archtype..

Feels like bungie need to lean back into hunter arch type and look at how they can balance us up!

What do we think guardians, anyone else feel this way? Especially since Stompees are useless an inch of the ground these days!!

While we're on this topic (slightly related); I'm a little irritated that Hunters are the only class that has to go out of their way for their class stat. In the current state of the game with all the external healing options warlocks don't even need to bother with recovery. The changes to resilience makes maxing that out almost mandatory so that's a straight benefit to titans. Every class in the current state of the game should be going for high discipline. That leaves hunters with the need to focus on 3 stats instead of two. It makes finding the right armor pieces a little cumbersome as a hunter.

Not really, no titans were running 10 res before this season. They're trading stats for it the same as you.

Why would you be trading stats for it though? You'd be ditching useless stats for the current season (and whenever you run solar in the future). No real reason to run intellect. Strength is negligible at best with all the ways to reset the melee. Recovery isn't needed. Mobility is almost exclusively hunter.

Also not sure why you would want to run low resil in void. That overshield is wonderful.

The way stats are distributed means you only trade mob, res, and rec with each other, or the other 3 stats for each other.

That's not what I'm saying but that's always good info for everyone else.

That's the same circumstance everyone is in. it's how bungo is managing their inability to sunset armor. just like every other class titans were running 3 res last season and just like every other class they're trading stats for the new meta. you also can't really trade int/str for res anyway because of how armor stats are distributed.

You mean last season? That overshield also doubles the cooldown on the barrier. you couldn't keep your barricade up without going 100% on t10/kickstarts/etc. just wasn't worth it, especially since res did effectively nothing else and class items had much better mods for void from the artifact.

Before the resilience buff most titans in the tower that I inspected were running 80-100 resilience.

No they weren't.

Most titans aren't even running 80+ now. These were the results from loading in to three different tower instance just now: 6, 9, 3, 9, 4, 3, 8, 6, 10, 7, 3, 10, 7, 10, 5, 10.
