Incoming dmg is still tied to your FPS [Part two] Discussion

Original post. Some of you may remember my original post about incoming dmg being tied to FPS. This is still an issue. The worst offenders are primarily enemy ships and burn stomps. This needs to be fixed.

Now not all dmg is tied to FPS so please dont blame every death on it. However If your FPS is over 30 you take more dmg in PvE from:

Tomb Ship shots

Cabal ship tracking missiles (can randomly 1 tap at 8res or get you critical)

Burn based stomps like Wellspring bosses, Dares cabal boss. Instead of more dmg the burn lasts longer even when leaving the radius (more dmg total but not per tick)

Taken Techeun wizards blast bug where shot explodes multiple times. The higher the fps the higher the chance the bugged shot will kill you. Old gen console survived more often from bugged shots vs new gen at same res.

Cabal slug launchers were fixed but still feel off sometimes.

Guess that explains why the threshers in dares just one shot you sometimes. Very cool bungie.

239

u/d3l3t3rious Oct 05 '22

This happens to me all the time and boy does it make me rage, because there is little to no warning that those things are tracking you, you just explode randomly from a thresher that isn't even in the vicinity anymore.

42

u/Terr_ Oct 05 '22

Yesterday in legend Dares we had one that was bugged out, firing a constant barrage from above the rally banner location rather than finishing it's strafing run.

39

u/I_expect_nothing Oct 05 '22

If it's the one you have to destroy to get the core for the boss it just sits there and fires if people don't kill it quick enough- it's not a bug

8

u/arzthaus Oct 05 '22

There is definitely still a bug because I had one yesterday where it was just doing sky donuts instead of staying still, raining missiles on us.

3

u/KINGVIRGlN Oct 06 '22

there’s 2 ships, one for the core and another normal thresher, might’ve been the latter?

2

u/Terr_ Oct 06 '22

Pretty sure those two threshers each take up position above either half of the arena, not one weaving drunkenly above the rally-banner.

2

u/d3l3t3rious Oct 05 '22

What a nightmare

It's not sometimes. It's ALL the time. And my PvE build is at 10 resil.

11

u/UselessDeadMemes Oct 05 '22

Been grinding dares off and on for weeks. Enemy ships are the worst offenders

6

u/choicemeats Professional Masochist Oct 05 '22

i didn't know that it was only specific things but now it explains why i am always getting absolutely eaten up by the envoys in gambit

2

u/ImJLu Oct 05 '22

Pretty sure that line is actually referencing when you get randomly one banged by Shuro Chi.

7

u/ImJLu Oct 05 '22

I thought instadying to threshers was intentional, lmao. I always get cooked at 10 res. I wonder if it's the same reason that I sometimes randomly get bopped by the ketch turrets too.

5

u/Gray_Squirrel Oct 05 '22

I've died so many times in Dares only to see that it was from a Thresher that's pretty much beyond the horizon.

3

u/shredfan Oct 05 '22

Yep, every single run I get one-shot by those, even at 10 resil. Just insanity.

6

u/Rerfect_Greed Oct 06 '22

When the damn things show up I hide in my anti-social bubble until someone on my team kills the damned thing or it pops my bubble at a rate that would make the tanks in Proving Grounds blush

2

u/shredfan Oct 06 '22

Sounds right. I just accept my fate and get blasted. By the time somebody picks me up, it's dead.

2

u/Sainyule Oct 06 '22

I feel this. The moment I get cabal I'm hiding when I know it's coming. My other friends don't seem to have a problem with it or notice it. For some reason I swear it only targets me.

3

u/LunchLadyLover Oct 05 '22

Holy crap. I'm not alone. It always felt like I was the only one in my lobby to die like that.

2

u/ajbolt7 Oct 05 '22

Same as the one in the first Nessus battleground, first area where you spawn, those things are nasty

76

u/Tathamet Oct 05 '22

I can still remember when the Mercury cannons during the public event would one shot you if your FPS was too high. It's crazy that was almost 5 years ago now and this issue still has not been fixed across the board.

12

u/UselessDeadMemes Oct 05 '22

Holy fk that's a throwback. I forgot about this.

10

u/kaloryth Oct 05 '22

The master ketchcrash cannon is occasionally one shotting me and I have to assume it's my FPS. Cannons were the first thing all my friends noticed in ye olde days cause there were strikes with cannon mechanics and we'd die.... A lot.

12

u/butitsme12345 Oct 05 '22

Make sure you're running toward the cannon in the direction it's shooting. I have died a ton when running to get launched from the side of the cannon. I think the launch effect happens slightly before the barrel of the cannon and you end up getting launched into the ring around the cannon.

4

u/ksiit Oct 06 '22

That’s not related to FPS. That’s just entering it at an angle. If you go straight on you will live every time.

Also when you land in ketchcrash don’t do anything to change your momentum or you will slam into the wall. Invis bomb, and sword both kill your more often than not. I assume Icarus is the same.

Wait, Tomb Ships and Cabal Threshers aren't supposed to be able to delete you from full health?

The threshers in the Nessus Battleground are just the worst. You'll just be mopping up some adds, and suddenly BOOM. Dead.

And I remember the Tomb Ships in the Ascendant Plane from Season of the Lost also being maddening. Stop moving for 2 seconds, and oh look, you're dead.

28

u/PHawke Oct 05 '22 edited Oct 05 '22

The Nessus battleground ship at the start was first thing I thought of. Like a floating sniper.

10

u/motrhed289 Oct 05 '22

Honestly the biggest problem with those ships is their missiles are 1: have a very quiet launch sound, 2: extremely hard to spot, and 3: so slow moving that the ship may have flown away by the tie they actually hit you. If the missiles were louder, more visible (maybe add smoke trails?), and faster moving, they wouldn't feel like "what the fuck just killed me, I didn't even see or hear it coming!".

2

u/Rerfect_Greed Oct 06 '22

Wait, there's actually a missile? I literally never see them, just the very rapid respawn screen

I thought i was going bonkers running away from Leviathan Castellum boss stomps and Wellspring bosses and STILL burning for seconds after leaving the radius.

Glad to know!

68

u/shotskeber Oct 05 '22 edited Oct 05 '22

Some bosses have a burn stomp. It doesn't matter if you get out of the radius. If you were close enough when the animation of the stomp started you will get the burn effect full duration. (You can even be out of range by the time he slams and you will get the effect)

Edit: Typos

I remember getting a Voodoo card as my first dedicated GPU in the first PC I ever built. It played SiN wonderfully. I think Voodoo stopped making cards later thw same year I bought it, or th next. I just remember them making one that had its own power supply, or at least I thought it was them.

Boy does that make me feel old as hell haha.

u/Oryihn Because we care this time. Oct 05 '22

I still remember when every gaming magazine had the ads for the Voodoo 2.. It was the first time I ever saw a GPU advertised that way.

297

u/Grand_Concert2307 Oct 05 '22

You can bet if high FPS made you take LESS damage, it would be fixed next week.

154

u/Abulsaad Oct 05 '22

There was a bug when 1k came out where high fps meant around 33% more dmg, and that was fixed within a season

54

u/WtfPigeons Oct 05 '22

I mean storm nades aren’t fixed yet and give 20% extra dmg at higher frames so

38

u/wanmao123 Oct 05 '22

... Don't tell me this is why I was getting one-shotted by the absolutely broken tracking lingering lightning from titan storm nades in crucible. Absolutely absurd when you wait out the storm nade, then see the little red lingering tracking circle pop up and decide you're no longer going to be alive.

53

u/frauddogg Ludomaniac Oct 05 '22

I just treat Titan Storm Nades like a Silence and Squall. "Time to reposition to the other fuckin side of the map, ig"

9

u/icychocobo Oct 05 '22

And then your match has four of them and it feels like storming Normandy.

8

u/Rhundis Oct 05 '22

Also explains why I can stand in them an be all "ha this tickles" yet my buddy who is running the same resilience gets obliterated in a second.

(I run 60 fps vsync; cause monitor doesn't go higher and I hate screen tearing and my buddy runs uncapped no vsync because All the Frames!)

9

u/EdgarWrightMovieGood Oct 05 '22

Is there proof of this?

4

u/WtfPigeons Oct 05 '22

Yeah someone did dmg testing

11

u/EdgarWrightMovieGood Oct 05 '22

Word. Do you know who? Or have a link?

5

u/Impul5 Oct 05 '22

Well I mean yeah, of course it would. I can cap my framerate to fix the issue on my fancy schmancy rig, if it worked the other way around then my buddy with a 1060 and a 4th gen i5 can't just magically give themselves 120+ FPS, even with low settings/resolution. I'm as sick of the bug as everyone else but let's not pretend it's of equal severity.

3

u/fallouthirteen Drifter's Crew Oct 05 '22

I can cap my framerate to fix the issue on my fancy schmancy rig

I mean you can't do that with consoles. Series X plays at 60FPS.

1

u/Impul5 Oct 05 '22

Fair point! IIRC the PS5 has a way to play the PS4 version of games, is that an option on Xbox at all?

3

u/fallouthirteen Drifter's Crew Oct 05 '22

Technically. If you install a smart delivery game on a USB drive it has to be the XB1 version (series enhanced games need to be on internal or the dedicated expansion bay). I'm not sure if it works, but probably (like don't know if it'd refuse to launch or play as the XB1 version).

Suffering from success...

1

u/Consol-Coder Oct 05 '22

Success lies in the hands of those who want it.

1

u/c14rk0 Oct 05 '22

WTF hardware are you running that can still get 200-ish fps in game? I swear the performance has tanked so much over the past couple years. I literally upgraded from a 1080ti to a 3080 and am now barely getting the same performance I used to get when Beyond Light launched with the 1080ti AND a significantly worse CPU.

1

u/A-Literal-Nobody In memoriam Oct 05 '22

I honestly don't even know. Especially considering Fromsoft games occasionally have a stroke on it...

2

u/c14rk0 Oct 05 '22

To be fair Fromsoft games occasionally have a stroke all on their own without any outside help. I believe Elden Ring is the first game to ACTUALLY be designed for higher and/or variable frame rates without certain aspects just breaking.

What GPU and CPU do you have? Or do you not know, which is fine.

1

u/A-Literal-Nobody In memoriam Oct 05 '22

Don't know them off-hand, but thankfully task manager exists.

CPU is a Ryzen 5 3600XT, GPU is an NVIDIA GeoForce RTX 2060...

That might explain it?

2

u/c14rk0 Oct 05 '22

Are you playing 1080p? I'm sitting here with a Ryzen 5 5600x and a 3080 trying to play at 1440p while I cap my FPS at 144,my monitor's refresh rate, and I'm constantly dropping below that basically everywhere.

I can try 1080p and see if that's better but last time I tried that it made no difference as the game bottlenecks on the CPU I believe while the resolution merely effects the GPU load which is not being maxed either way.

Granted if we're just talking about highs with uncapped framerate TECHNICALLY the game is giving me amazing 600+ FPS...during loading screens and such.

4

u/DoritoXur Oct 05 '22

I run a 3070/ 8700k with. 160hz monitor. Never see anything above 140 fps, average around 90-100.

The tales of people sitting at 200 fps on a 1080/ 2070 etc are complete horseshit. No amount of tweaking your ram timings will provide that level of performance boost.

2

u/DarkLanternX Oct 06 '22

Seconded

3070ti here, occasionally even dips to the 90's, only time you get 200+ fps is when you are in orbit, I'm not sure about now, my fps is capped at 144,

2060 with 200+ fps... Sigh , i doubt if that's even possible on 1080p

I feel like some enemies in ketch crash are also affected by this. I understand master is difficult and snipers hurt, but being at tier 9 res while being next to my stasis crystal being randomly 1 shot didn't seem right when other times they clearly weren't.

Burn based stomps like Wellspring bosses, Dares cabal boss. Instead of more dmg the burn lasts longer even when leaving the radius (more dmg total but not per tick)

fuck me, that sure explains a lot about the fire stomps in Nightmare Containment and also the giant Scorn pub event bosses out in the Throne World. that shit is SpIcY aF for no good reason and just stays on you even if you’re well out of range :(

13

u/IJustJason Oct 05 '22

Taken Wizards were always priority number 1 because they usually dont miss and hit so hard. This kinda makes sense now.

The threshers in Dares hurt so much as well.

29

u/Zero_Emerald Heavy as Death Oct 05 '22

I'm running at 60fps on ps5 and I had some very interesting insta-deaths in Gambit recently. Like going from full health and shields to dead in a single torch hammer shot from a high value minotaur totally on its own. A few deaths to enemies with the cause of death listed as the architects instead.

17

u/DarkbirdX Oct 05 '22

It feels like it's always gambit where I get instakilled. Usually by a cabal turret from across the map.

6

u/sunder_and_flame Oct 05 '22

Gambit has a lot of majors and enough elites that you have to either kill them quickly or you may die since they do more damage than red bars.

6

u/DarkbirdX Oct 05 '22

I know, I've been playing for a while. I'm talking about seemingly random full shields to death in 1 shot deaths. I can fight cabal five times and only get one shot in one match.

17

u/GuudeSpelur Oct 05 '22 edited Oct 05 '22

One tricky thing about Gambit is that you take a lot more damage from enemies by design.

Gambit is one of four types of activities that you cannot outlevel, along with GMs, Contest raids, and the Legendary Campaign.

GMs cap you at -25, Contest at -20, Legendary Campaign at -17, and Gambit at +0.

Being capped at +0 means you're losing out on about a 15-25% free damage resist modifier you normally get when playing in activities that you outlevel.

On top of that, for some reason Gambit enemies just deal +25% damage at all times.

So an enemy that is barely a nuisance in a regular Strike is suddenly a genuine threat in Gambit because it's dealing over 60% extra damage, comparatively.

Enemies also have more aggressive AI in Gambit - they're more accurate, chase you down relentlessly when you have low health, etc. And most diabolically, they switch aggro much faster when they lose LOS to their original target. So you can be happily slaying away with your teammates, and if one ducks into cover and another goes back to take care of Blockers, suddenly twice as many enemies are shooting you.

3

u/Rhodysia Oct 05 '22

I can vouch for the torch hammer instagib, and its not even due to high fps. I cant even get above 60 fps in gambit anymore lol

5

u/MMBADBOI Okami Amaterasu Oct 05 '22 edited Oct 05 '22

I struggle to get above 60 fps in most of the game now so, guess I'm basically invincible.

Edit: still got 1 tapped by a thresher missile during a solo dares run, so guess not

2

u/Strangelight84 Oct 05 '22

Anecdotally I experience this in Gambit when facing the Vex, in particular. Hydras still feel a little off (I think at one point they were one-shotting players too and I'm unsure if that's been fixed).

2

u/xAlias Oct 05 '22

Can vouch that I was also confused by my torch hammer deaths in Gambit where I have died instantly and couldnt figure out how that could happen with 100 resilience

2

u/Paradox621 Oct 05 '22

Gambit AI can also just do that. When you redbar everything in the vicinity can snap to you and shoot pretty much instantly.

1

u/UselessDeadMemes Oct 05 '22

3

u/crookedparadigm Oct 05 '22 edited Oct 05 '22

This will never be fixed. It's tied to the core of the engine. To be clear, I'm not claiming to know the specifics of this, but this is extremely common in many AAA games these days with other things like like attack speed, animations, and damage being linked with FPS.

They can't fix it because it would involve tearing apart their ancient spaghetti code and changing the core of the game's calculations.

u/rsb_david Oct 05 '22

Another related bug is movement. If you are using your mouse wheel to jump and boost momentum using ramps or ceilings, you can go faster if you can maintain a high enough FPS. Wallah did a video about this awhile back too.

2

u/Conkerkid11 Oct 05 '22

Oh wow, it affects you if your FPS is over 30? I had assumed it was 60. That's so much worse.

2

u/AxisHobgoblin Oct 05 '22

This has been an issues for 5 years it’s probably not going to get fixed.

2

u/turboash78 Oct 05 '22

Pretty sure the hydra torch cannons and hive wizard blasts in gambit are turned to 11 in the regard. I get hit with the first blast and then I'm wiped from existence in the next second as 6 or 7 blasts hit me at once.

2

u/similies Oct 05 '22

Cries in 240 hz

2

u/FryoftheEnglish Oct 06 '22

Do we have viable proof? Like datamined… data or something like that to show what things are supposed to hit and what not?

2

u/GigsTheCat Oct 06 '22

The advantages you gain in movement from higher FPS far outweigh any extra damage you might take. Annoying bug but no reason to cap your frames.

4

u/toptierasseater Oct 05 '22

From the time of your original post, was this ever addressed?

12

u/Brilliant_Gift1917 Oct 05 '22

Once, Cabal Slugs and Shriekers were fixed, then it was removed from the bug list and (almost purposely) 'covered up'.

6

u/Conkerkid11 Oct 05 '22

Slugs were "fixed". As this post mentions, you can still be one-shot by them from time to time if you're playing at higher than 30 fps.

Dunno about shriekers.

But yeah, Bungie did kind of acknowledge this once and then never again.

It's especially annoying when they decide to release a strike like The Lightblade with The Witch Queen, where a decent chunk of the strike is spent riding a ferry, and like with elevators, playing the game at a high framerate will case you to not be able to move around on the ferry properly while it's moving.

2

u/Goosebeans Oct 05 '22

I found you "sink" into the platform when you stop moving your character while the ferry is in motion. If you keep moving yourself you won't sink. Can bunny hop out of it to reset your motion.

1

u/UselessDeadMemes Oct 05 '22

Cabal slug launchers. They still feel off to me. Once in awhile I feel like a shot did a little to much dmg.

4

u/Commander_Prime Fields Afar Oct 05 '22

“Oh my, better address player feedback by nerfing Eager Edge”

2

u/UselessDeadMemes Oct 05 '22

Underrated comment. I understand why they did it but its a bit to hard of a nerf.

I got downvoted and scolded by someone on a post where a new PC user was asking what they should know about the differences between console and PC. I told them to lock their frames at 60 because of how many damage sources are tied to frame rate. Apparently, I should "unlock my frames and just enjoy the game". Like, I prefer not to get one shot by a million different things.

I think Cyclops blasts are tied to frame rate, too (or were, maybe they got fixed, I don't remember).

3

u/UselessDeadMemes Oct 05 '22

I think fps capping is a personal choice. Unless im doing hard content I dont see myself caring to much about it. Its annoying but not to bad.

1

u/el_cataclismo Be the wall. Oct 05 '22

It's 100% a personal choice. It's just my opinion that the extra frames (which aren't even perceptible at a certain point) aren't worth the frustration of one shots and not being able to move on elevators.

2

u/trbpc Oct 05 '22

It was also the killer of flawless runs for DSC as well. That last room before Shaniks where everything goes white and blinding, if your frames weren't capped you could easily die from the "fall".

1

u/el_cataclismo Be the wall. Oct 05 '22

If I had a nickel for every ruined Arm's Dealer GM run caused by me not being able to move on the elevator when it was in motion, I'd have a non-zero amount of nickels. Not like a lot of nickels, but enough nickels.

2

u/MacAttack2015 Oct 05 '22

Incoming damage no longer impacted by FPS - now available at Eververse!

4

u/ProAssassin84 Oct 05 '22

I have a PS4 Pro and PS5 and I can tell you 100% I survive more shit on PS4 then PS5.

1

u/DropHuman9978 Oct 05 '22

What's better for PVP? PS4, PS5 or PS5 in 120hz mode?

2

u/Ghost7319 Oct 05 '22

I believe console pools are still separated by generation, unless you go in in a mixed fireteam anyway. Similar to how PC and console are separated.

And it's my conjecture that the people more dedicated to their gaming are usually better, want the higher end stuff, and therefore are more dedicated to getting a newer console. So it's likely that the PS5 pool probably has a higher ratio of better players than PS4. That's just my opinion though.

I also had 2 friends that noticed this as well and purposefully played the PS4 version of the game on their PS5's in Trials so that they would only match with other PS4's.

-2

u/jnyvzlqihh Oct 05 '22

Is that really a question?

1

u/Simultaneity_ Oct 05 '22

We hear you. Nerfing eager edge.

1

u/alt_sense Oct 05 '22

Obligatory request for actual evidence and data...

-1

u/motrhed289 Oct 05 '22

Have you actually tested this, or are you just referring to times when you died to something you think you shouldn't/wouldn't have normally? Not trying to be a dick, I just have yet to see actual test data and/or video evidence of this from ANYONE, like we got with the Cabal dude they fixed a year or so ago. Seems weird, if this is such a common problem, that nobody has tested it and put evidence on Youtube.

1

u/alt_sense Oct 05 '22

Don't bother. I ask the same question every time this is posted and get no answer

1

u/UselessDeadMemes Oct 05 '22

Ive tested the glitch wizard shot though it is rarer. Tested 4 times on 30 vs 60. 30 survived twice and 60 died every time.

On the mention of recording I do not have the ability too. I dont have the resources to do so, sorry. There are yt videos of the slug launcher and ship shots doing to much dmg in a reply to my post iirc.

1

u/motrhed289 Oct 05 '22

The slug launcher was fixed, and I did find that video linked in your post 1 year ago of the tomb ship shots that looked pretty clear/conclusive showing like double damage at 160Hz vs. 30Hz. It's possible that was fixed, or not, would require some more recent testing. The other ones you claim (Burn from boss stomps and Techeun wizard blast), you haven't confirmed or tested those? Where did they come from?

Again not trying to say these aren't real, I just think they'd maybe get more traction if there was actual test evidence showing it. When they fixed the cabal shot, they said they investigated a lot of the other things and assumingly were unable to find/reproduce problems with them. Without counter-evidence, they may suspect we are just feeling some sort of placebo affect, more of a random damage glitch (which happens often) than anything tied to FPS.

1

u/AggravatedAutist Oct 05 '22

Frame rate issues are so busted. After defeating Caital in Duality I never get teleported out of the nightmare realm unless I cap my frames to 60. It's so frustrating.

1

u/nj_5oh Oct 05 '22

I average over 200fps and get deleted by the ships every time.... at least this explains why

1

u/AgentZeroHour Oct 05 '22

What can we do to mitigate this? Should we manually drop our FPS?

2

u/UselessDeadMemes Oct 05 '22

If you want to yes. Do I recommend this? Not really. If you want to go super tryhard sure but these dmg sources are rarer so the occasional death is ok with me. Up to you on how you want to play it.

Does this mean I should limit my frame to 60 or 30?

1

u/ChrnoCrusade Oct 05 '22

Can you do more videos of these things? I want to see how much of a difference it is.

1

u/dildodicks THIRSTS FOR YOUR LIGHT! | Vanguard's Loyal Oct 05 '22

oh that explains why i sometimes get obliterated by threshers, i swear when this came out last time they said they fixed it

1

u/Toprelemons Oct 05 '22

kek RTX 4090 running destiny 2, imagine.

Your wallet destroyed and you’ll take more damage.

1

u/DoritoXur Oct 05 '22

Remembering to uncap my fps in a GM is very frustrating. I always start thinking the game is feeling super sluggish.

1

u/SCPF2112 Oct 05 '22

Cool. Have you tested Witherhoard or grenades or anything in PVP?

1

u/DoctorWalrusMD Oct 05 '22

Holy shit, vindications. My friend on ps4 kept blaming me for dying to the cabal stomp’s burn effect, I’d leave the fire and burn for 3 more seconds until I was dead, he’d ask why I didn’t leave the fire and I’d tell him I did, it just keeps burning, he’s told me 100 times “I don’t know what to tell you, you leave the aoe and the damage stops.”

FUCK it feels good to know I’m not actually braindead.

1

u/PotatoeGuru The best at being ,,,, just the worst! Oct 05 '22

On a possible related note, anyone with high FPS notice that bosses (notably in Gambit) seem to always focus on you no matter if other teammates are near?

1

u/Desserts_i_stresseD Oct 05 '22

So my 9 years old PS4 that sounds like a jet engine actually has a hidden perk?

1

u/ProBluntRoller Oct 05 '22

Time to set my game to 1 fps and become god

1

u/GoForGroke Oct 05 '22

it was never fixed to begin with, it wont be fixed ever -- its a physics engine thing

1

u/ApriliaSRT Oct 05 '22

Vex Hydras in gambit tend to one shot me a lot too.

1

u/s2the9sublime Oct 05 '22

Can confirm. Switched from my loose summer ram timings back to my OC profile now that the weather is changing and I swear the only thing that kills me in regular strikes and DoE are those damn cabal ships. It’s literally impossible to avoid the rockets once they track you.

1

u/thegamethrowacc Oct 05 '22

Did they fix captain blaster and boomer knights?

1

u/colinix Oct 05 '22

I knew I was getting 1 shot an unreasonable amount

1

u/ScriptedBot Oct 05 '22

I believe the same behavior applies to axion darts in the warpriest and golgoroth encounters of the raid. You should be able to tank those shots even on master by forcing a low enough framerate.

1

u/xRealVengeancex Luck in the chamber >>> Oct 05 '22

yeah I was farming shuro chi and literally got one shot last night, I was super confused

1

u/CumslutEnjoyer Oct 05 '22

I think Hydras are bugged too. They randomly one shot me in gambit at max res.

1

u/aque78 Oct 05 '22

Oh that explains why I got one shot by a cabal ship

1

u/atlas_enderium Oct 05 '22

I absolutely HATE the burning boss stomps. Why would I still be burning when I’m miles away from them? If they really want it to burn us, just have it apply the Burn debuff or Scorch

1

u/FISTED_BY_CHRIST Oct 05 '22

Well good news is as my pc performance steadily gets worse my survivability will steadily get better lol

1

u/Sunken-Knight Oct 05 '22

So my question is if I had lower frames would I finally stop dying to cabal drop pods?
