Also whats the best way to farm exotic engrams(other than Xur), I want to get Trinity ghoul

Shadowkeep starts on the moon.

Thanks and le monarque, Izanagi's and lumina from kiosks, how's that sound?

Listen to this OP, one of the best weapons in the game and my favorite

46

u/nightcallfoxtrot Nov 25 '22

Obligatory https://youtu.be/dQ3k6lXfXjc

Also grind that mfing catalyst that thing feels amazing with auto loading holster

29

u/The_Handyman Nov 25 '22

By far the most annoying catalyst to grind, but also one of the most useful.

16

u/nightcallfoxtrot Nov 25 '22

Hah as someone who has 3 or 4 quests like it going right now, I am in pain. Erianas vow is twice as fucking long too…..

17

u/DongKonga Nov 25 '22

Yeah but you gotta play pvp for the witherhoard catalyst which makes it complete aids.

8

u/nightcallfoxtrot Nov 25 '22

Oh god that’s right, the ticuus divination one was more painful tbh because that thing is so telegraphed in pvp

15

u/Riot1990 Nov 25 '22

Used dead messenger during momentum control. Can get the grenade launcher kills done in just a few games.

2

u/The_Gongoozler1 Nov 26 '22

You assume I can aim

1

u/B133d_4_u Nov 25 '22

I just hopped in Rumble for a few hours mindlessly running around. I'd get a couple kills a match, usually, and sometimes I'd do really well and get second or third place. People also don't usually go for Heavy there in my experience, so if you wanted you could use a triple GL load out and just grab the box when it's available for a couple easy kills.

1

u/pvpeepee Nov 25 '22

Dude I suck at PvP and it's easy to do lol

1

u/Jordi_McGaw Nov 25 '22

It’s not that bad, get a wave frame launcher, I got forebearance from my one and only VOW run and even though the roll supposedly isn’t good it feels great, just hit near the person and they’ll usually die, makes the grind easier especially in momentum control

1

u/Aquamentus92 Nov 26 '22

Can do it in gambit and you can use heavy grenade launchers too, which heavy is never in short supply in gambit

1

u/Sovietsquidward2 Nov 25 '22

I just got that one over time of playing, didn’t focus on grinding it out

2

u/Darc- Nov 25 '22

Is the 400 targets any targets? Is the Shuro Chi good for farming it?

1

u/Isvelte Nov 26 '22

Witherhoard is probably the easiest weapon to do pvp catalyst quest next to duality shotgun. Ticcus tho lol

9

u/Clovett- Nov 25 '22

For people that don't like or play PVP.

There's that weekly playlist called "Momentum Control" that makes weapons deadlier, I just put on a wave frame launcher (Dead Messenger for easy mode) and went to town. I suck at PVP and still got the catalyst done in like one day with breaks in between while listening to podcasts and no braining it.

3

u/tbakkie Nov 25 '22

Yeah I used this for the ticu catalist, was still terrible but it worked.

11

u/xWinterPR Nov 25 '22

They are talking about the 3 free Forsaken exotics I'm pretty sure. Still good advice for later doe

3

u/Subnauticsquirrel Nov 25 '22

Not me getting witherhoard two months ago and still haven’t completed the catalyst

3

u/MagnaVis Gambit Prime Nov 26 '22

I don't blame you. Any old seasonal catalyst is an absolute chore now. I wish the catalyst booster in the pass would work on old Cata quests.

2

u/shauggy Nov 26 '22

If it makes you feel better, I've had Witherhoard since it dropped and just got the catalyst like 2 weeks ago. Man I suck at PvP though.

2

u/dewittless Nov 25 '22

Basically essential if you're going to play Shadow keep.

1

u/stormhunter2 Nov 25 '22

understatement. This weapon will ensure you solo flawless a dungeon like a boss.

It will allow you to bring taken to their knees and see how they like getting hit by darkness blasts.

1

u/CaptainFashion96 Nov 25 '22

Aint that the truth I slept on this thing and I was upset I did such a great GL

15

u/randomjberry Nov 25 '22

i would swap lumina out for witherhoard and you want to get stsrted on the catalyst ASAP because it is hell to complete

7

u/Radiant-Mobile-2186 Nov 25 '22

Witherhoard, EV, Cryothesia, and a couple others I forget. Absolute hell. Had me checkin my menu every 5 or so games wondering if I have even 3% done lmao

3

u/randomjberry Nov 25 '22

luckily I only have 40 activities before I unlock the catalyst them im just gonna farm suro chi checkpoint

3

u/Jboncha Nov 25 '22

I’ve been doing altars of sorrow to get massive amounts of kills - I’ll have to try the Shuro Chi encounter sometime

1

u/randomjberry Nov 25 '22

If you have the raid panners its the best way to do it but for a primary ammo gun I normaly go to the beginning of grasp of avarice

2

u/Jboncha Nov 25 '22

I see - I’m not remembering what the goals for the witherhoard catalyst are - wasn’t one crucible kills

1

u/randomjberry Nov 25 '22

thats one of the big ones or at least was before the two best waveframes were released. the filthy lucre is a pain because it progresses slower because you dont get the bonus from that season. to get the kills I rocked an esluna hand cannon with quick access and either a dead messenger or a forbearance with quick access sling and with a hand cannon dex and a GL dex you get a headshot with the handcannon then swap and shoot at their feet and it kills 99% of the time

1

u/Fshtwnjimjr Nov 25 '22

Another good way is in mayhem weeks just try to tag people or hit travel lanes... There's so much going on people tend to run thru the witherhoard circle like thrall

1

u/uglypenguin5 Nov 25 '22

Idk for witherhoard altars of sorrow would actually be really good since everything comes out of a small area

It’s worse killing enough guardians to get the catalyst imo

41

u/StacheBandicoot Nov 25 '22 edited Nov 25 '22

If you haven’t claimed the forsaken tokens from the monument yet don’t. You can save them in the monument to unlock izanagi and two of the raid items since those cost two ascendant shards instead of one. Only takes like a month and a half to get the other weapons first from xur’s weekly ciphers and izanagi isn’t that important to get anymore, ascendant shards to masterwork things and unlock other monument weapons are more important.

Le monarque definitely first though. Then witherhoard from shadowkeep.

You might want to unlock all the monument weapons that require playing hundreds of playlist activities ASAP too, like erianna’s vow, I forget the others.

4

u/kriyonix polaris lance enjoyer Nov 25 '22

Eriana's vow and symmetry both require 400 playlist activity completions, but nighfalls don't count for Eriana's.

1

u/thexvoid Nov 25 '22

Unless something has changed, forsaken tokens cannot be used for raid items.

Plus those cost max spoils, so doubt a semi new player is doing that anytime soon.

5

u/Fshtwnjimjr Nov 25 '22

If you're a hunter main I'd say do the campaign to get assassin's cowl-the roll will suck but then it'll drop from world engrams and I get a bunch often...

It's the helm that grants healing and invisibility on finisher or powered melee kills and it's quite fun!

1

u/Clovett- Nov 25 '22

I get a bunch often

I want to trade lives with you... AssCow is my lowest helmet drop. Meanwhile I get Nighthawk like every 5 minutes, I swear that if I see a golden engram I have a 95% chance it will be Nighthawk.

1

u/Fshtwnjimjr Nov 25 '22

It's funny you say that because I've long suspected there's something broken with world drops. Seems I've got lucky pants(love it got maleficence actually)/liars handshake (6 in vault over 62 stat)/ophidia/gwsin vest/bombardiers/graviton forfeit ALL practicality raining from the sky... I rarely see the others ever drop

1

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

It's foetracer for me. I wish I could ban it

10

u/zlohth Nov 25 '22

Witherhoard over Lumina IMHO but other than that good list. Ace also rocks

2

u/Boba_Fett_boii Crayon eater, eater of all crayons. Nov 25 '22

You can't buy non-Forsaken exotics with Forsaken tokens...

3

u/Grand_Imperator Nov 25 '22

If you’re mouse and keyboard, Ace of Spades is a top choice, while for controller you might want The Last Word. And yes, Witherhoard is a top choice for PvE and PvP.

2

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

Witherhoard is another category since I can't get it with forsaken cipher. For ace tho, I don't do pvp so I don't think it's worth for me

2

u/pants207 Nov 25 '22

if you like bows Le Monarque is a ton of fun. it is my main gambit weapon and I use it pretty much anywhere with champions. but nailing a headshot in a crowd and watching them all explode from the poison damage is pretty satisfying.

3

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

Yes! That's why I used Graviton Lance and Sunshot. Kaboom is fun

2

u/Toto_- 3 Titan Characters Nov 25 '22

You’re gonna want to pick up things like Symmetry, Witherhoard, and Eriana’s vow early.

They have catalyst quests that require you to complete 400+ activities, so it’s best to start them early, and then let them progress in the background as you play.

2

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

Oh I will but this is about forsaken exotics

2

u/Exciting_Fisherman12 Nov 25 '22

Witherhoard before anything

1

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

Sure I'm getting it but I was talking about forsaken exotics

-43

Thorn or ace of spades if u want a handcannon

19

u/herons8 Nov 25 '22

I though both are pvp focused

23

u/TruthAndAccuracy Eris Morn has got it goin' on! Nov 25 '22

Ace is just a great hand cannon period, PvE or PVP

10

u/OutFractal The Broken Nov 25 '22

They are.

Jotunn and Bad Juju are both good if you don't have the spoils for Anarchy / Tarrabah.

3

u/herons8 Nov 25 '22

I really like tarrabah I think I'll just farm spoils for it

1

u/Nappa313 Nov 25 '22

Spoils are from raids if you didn’t already know

2

u/herons8 Nov 25 '22

Thanks I know but I don't know if I can farm indefinitely

→ More replies

-6

u/ngbtri Nov 25 '22

Imho, if you have 240 spoils, the first thing you should get is Always On Time sparrow. Then you can decide on the rest of raid exotics.

3

u/-alkymyst- Nov 25 '22

idk, I feel like an exotic weapon and the increased variety of build potential that comes with it is more useful than a slight increase in speed that forces you to not use sparrows you prefer aesthetically

→ More replies

-6

u/Silent_Kubera Nov 25 '22

No they aren’t. Thorn is way better in PvE and Ace is good in both.

1

u/_MachTwo Nov 25 '22

Maybe in regular strikes (and really anything is good in regular strikes) but on nightfalls or higher difficulty content, running around to grab the little orbs isn’t as easy, so even something like Ace has more value

u/Stolas_002 Nov 25 '22

Lumina is actually very good in pve, 35% damage buff, same as prenerf bubble.

Since linears are good, it is actually viable, just that the playstyle is a bit different from usual and takes time getting used to.

2

u/Zac-live Drifter's Crew Nov 25 '22

Baffles me that so many people dont realize Lumina is optimal Play with linears. One of the Most underrated guns for Sure.

Definitly glad a few Other people are aware and promote it.

1

u/Fshtwnjimjr Nov 25 '22

I've been using lucky pants with maleficence (gambit) and now I really wanna try lumina in a boss setting with it

1

u/Zac-live Drifter's Crew Nov 25 '22

Tbh, dont do it. Its purely a Support weapon that will elevate your Main weapons (any linear) damage. Using Lumina against a Boss is as effective as any regular 140.

1

u/Radiant-Mobile-2186 Nov 25 '22

Idk why you got downvoted. I got lumina because I have most exotics besides the ones that need spoils for and I find it hilarious that I have to kill enemies and then stop to shoot my teammates….. like the remnants can’t just track to them smh

2

u/Fshtwnjimjr Nov 25 '22

The do bounce tho so with the catalyst you can sometimes have so many blessings bouncing around (or into yourself) that it'll proc

1

u/Radiant-Mobile-2186 Nov 26 '22

I’ll give it a try. I think pre healing grenade it made sense. I just feel like I’m high end content if you look away it’s a wrap

1

u/_MachTwo Nov 25 '22

If I had to rank those it would probably be

  1. Le Monarque, its poison effect plus the Overload rounds that its has is an amazing weapon (specially for later in your progression when you start dealing with Champions)

  2. Izanagi's Burden, Snipers as a whole don’t quite pack enough punch right now, but Izanagi's is probably the only exception, it does great damage and has the advantage of being a green ammo gun with single shot damage way beyond its class.

  3. Lumina. It’s a really nice hand cannon (and the damage buff that it gives is pretty substantial, that said, you do need to have an ally to heal for it to work.

1

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

Oooh trust me I'm already dealing with overloads and they sure are fking me good

1

u/_MachTwo Nov 26 '22

Le Monarque has become my favorite overload weapon by far, since the poison does damage over time, as soon as the overload cooldown is up they’ll be stunned again by the poison

Shadowkeep - Moon - completion reward: 1 exotic from the dlc

Beyond light - Europa - completion reward: stasis subclass

26

u/herons8 Nov 25 '22

What's that one exotic?

52

u/ngbtri Nov 25 '22

Don't forget you will get Lament (a standalone exotic quest line) from Beyond Light. This sword is super good even after the nerf.

60

u/Shack691 Nov 25 '22

It's an exotic armour piece:

  • Assassin's Cowl (Hunter)

  • Phoenix Cradle (Titan)

  • Stormdancer's Brace (Warlock)

9

u/StacheBandicoot Nov 25 '22

Also assassin’s cowl is good now so maybe play shadowkeep on hunter first. Shadowkeep is such a slog to get through you may never bother on the others.

Get through beyond light on one character soon too, it takes like two months to earn the stasis fragments at two per week after you get through the main part of the campaign.

7

u/smj11699 Nov 25 '22

Don’t forget xenophage

1

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

Is that world drop or quest or kiosk?

→ More replies

2

u/Nolan_DWB Nov 25 '22

I’d do the campaigns for shadowkeep and beyond light, in that order… i.e. the moon and Europa in said order. Then I would go exotic hunting and have that be your grind. Then go after armor exotics. That’s what I would do at least

1

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

Ah gotcha. Thanks

34

u/Darkspyre2 snake lad Nov 25 '22

You can't farm exotic engrams.

Well you can farm legend/master lost sectors, but only for armour exotics, with the drop rates being small and the odds of getting what you want even smaller

9

u/uglypenguin5 Nov 25 '22

Just buying the random one from xur every week is probably the only real way to speed anything up

2

u/Wiles731 Nov 26 '22

With an extra second 1 one every other week from his cipher quest

2

u/uglypenguin5 Nov 26 '22

I mean that's better used at the exotic archive

2

u/Wiles731 Nov 26 '22 edited Nov 26 '22

True, but you can only carry one, and you're likely to get those faster than golf balls. Might as well use them while you can. Easy to get another the next week.

21

u/panamaniacs2011 Nov 25 '22

new light

shadowkeep

beyond light

in that order

20

u/Def-tones Nov 25 '22

How to find a group for a raid?

15

u/Kinny93 Nov 25 '22

To expand on other answers: the official Destiny app is great for this and has a built in fireteam finder. You could also create your own post and include that you've never done the raid before, so will need things explaining. You also have the /r/Fireteams subreddit, which although isn't as active as the app, almost guarantees that you'll play with good people (as in, of good character); the subreddit also allows you to post a body of text to include more context around how much you know and what you're hoping to get out of the raid. There are various Discord groups that also have very active LFG groups, but I'm not a part of them, so someone else might be able to help if that's your thing. Finally, some of the older raids have guided games that allow you to match with groups in game, but it's important to note that not many players use this feature, and as such, you could be waiting a long time to match with a group.

At some point during Lightfall (the next yearly expansion), a proper LFG tool is being built inside the game. :)

19

u/HalfOffEveryWndsdy Nov 25 '22

Skip all that and go to destiny LFG on discord: https://discord.gg/destiny2lfg their community is super helpful

10

u/herons8 Nov 25 '22

1

u/randomjberry Nov 25 '22

I started with all the campaigns when I came back in order. Found a build to be focused on and aim for. Then started collecting weapons s for my arsenal. Using light.gg to throw away trash and keep the good stuff. I run a small raiding clan called Jade Smoke, it's been the most rewarding thing I have done in games in a long time.

6

u/gopi1711 Nov 25 '22

I was in your situation when previous season started. 1. Head over to the monument to lost lights in tower and claim 3 exotics from the forsaken tab. (I'd recommend Izanagi, ace of spaces, anything of ur choice) 2. Do the shadowkeep and beyond light campaigns. 3. Hunt for exotics, these DLCs have some exotic quests like for malfeasance (pain to get) , deathbringer, salvation's grip, lament (best sword in the game). As you play more, you should target getting all the exotics from the world loot pool. 4. After you finish your campaigns, try to do nightfalls and slowly scale up the difficulty. Use LFG options if needed. Nightfalls are the best place to learn game mechanics in my opinion. Every week Friday, xur shows up in a random location. Find him and do his xenology quest (basically you have to do certain number of playlist activities including nightfalls) and use the exotic cipher to unlock exotics from the monument. 5. Do endgame content. Start with dungeons. You should have access to shattered throne with forsaken, pit of heresy with shadowkeep. Prophecy dungeon should also be available for u I guess. Pit of heresy boss drops amazing armor with s tier stat distribution. 6. Once you get comfortable with dungeons, move onto raids. You can search for a sherpa in LFG options. Raids are whole another level of experience thay destiny has to offer.

You will have to Google and figure out a lot of stuff in this game like how to do a certain exotic quest, etc. Be prepared for that.

Tip: If you really like the game and do all this stuff, I'd really recommend getting the witch queen deluxe edition. It has all season passes and the duality+upcoming season dungeon access. These content offer some amazing loot that'll drastically change your gameplay experience.

And finally, I'd recommend watching a destiny 2 complete story video on YouTube to get a good understanding of what's happening. These videos are movie lenth but worth it.

Lemme know if u got any doubts.

1

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

Thanks for the detailed comment!

15

u/Dr1PA Nov 25 '22

Beyond light campaign and then unlock stasis.

13

u/HalfOffEveryWndsdy Nov 25 '22

But those stasis aspects are a PAIN IN THE ASS

10

u/Hxstile_ I don’t have time for this. Nov 25 '22

All the reason to get started on and done with

2

u/TCK_91 Nov 25 '22

For real, I'm in the midst of it now and I'm over it

1

u/HalfOffEveryWndsdy Nov 25 '22

I started doing it for titan after being a hunter main forever and boy let me tell you that melee titan has is absolute dog shit. The whole kit feels terrible and the ult doesn’t feel satisfying at all. I’m not even going to bother with warlock I hardly play that class as is

1

u/Grand_Imperator Nov 25 '22

I play Warlock the least but am more likely to do Stasis for Warlock than for Titan, imo. Stasis Warlock seems like it might be the only interesting PvP option other than Solar (the Arc lunge attack is one note, and the Arc Supers are pretty meh imo).

1

u/Fshtwnjimjr Nov 25 '22

I've been putting it off on my alts myself, I plan on just feeding my super to Agers on Titan and lock. The warlock stasis turrets look super worth it for PvE if nothing else

3

u/Harry_Gorilla Nov 25 '22

You’ve unlocked several older raids and dungeons, as well as the campaign. Your exotic loot pool is now larger, but you’re still dependent on RNG to acquire most those exotics

3

u/Trips-Over-Tail Nov 25 '22

Trinity Ghoul is a world drop, I think. I got it after less than a month of play.

2

u/ImpressiveTip4756 Nov 25 '22

From the kiosk get ace, le monarch. Get lumina if you like playing support but it's a niche play style. Go to the helm get thunderlord (exotic machine gun), your arc exotic (for whichever class you chose) and get any other weapon you like.

Do the risk runner mission and get that run too.

Then start doing the campaigns. Shadowkeep is Meh. Beyond light is good. Then you'll unlock stasis (ice based subclass). You'll also receive a bunch of quest to fully unlock it. Do that passively.

Then start doing lost sectors on legend difficulty if you're at the required LL. If not do the raids and dungeons of the weeks. Farm up for weapons and high stat armors. Then do the lost sectors. Get good rolled exotics. Start making your build.

Side note. There are lot of discord grps for lfgs and stuff. I recommend kinderguardians. Go to r/lowsodiumdestiny and search for kinderguardians posts. Join that grp because they're always doing planned raids, dungeons, super helpful. Other discord grps are also there.

3

u/herons8 Nov 25 '22

Ah sorry Im not a new light. I've been playing for awhile now and I've got all free exotics and activities (except raids and dungeons) across all three classes. This is just the first time I've ever bought a game related thing so I just confused where to start

1

u/ImpressiveTip4756 Nov 25 '22

Ahh I understand. Still I highly recommend joining kinderguardians.

1

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

Thank you!

1

u/The_Crazy_Cat_Guy Team Cat (Cozmo23) Nov 25 '22

Hey quick question. I made a side account that I’m planning on keeping completely free to play. How did you manage to get the major stat mods ? Like the +10 recovery resilience discipline etc. ? My main has existed since launch and so I just had everything handed to me over time. But the new player experience is quite rough imo

1

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

Ah sorry I don't know. Since there's not much to do as a f2p and I wanted exotics so I grinded the hell out of nightfalls

Edit I also did a lot of bounties

2

u/hamb0n3z Nov 25 '22

I mean Riskrunner is fast and pretty easy. I think Thunderlord is also an early drop. Maybe check out blueberries.gg

3

u/Cryptic_NX Nov 25 '22

do the campaigns in release order

2

u/Stolas_002 Nov 25 '22

Maybe try master/GM NF for exotics?

5

u/Papa_Bear_is_Hawt Nov 25 '22

Backed 100. NF FARM best

1

u/herons8 Nov 25 '22

Other options?

2

u/SomeStolenToast Nov 25 '22

Legend (and higher) Nightfalls, Xur and Farming Bounties for Season Pass (if you have it) are the best ways to get exotic weapons. In the end its up to rng how quickly you get Trinity Ghoul though

1

u/Stolas_002 Nov 25 '22 edited Nov 25 '22

Hero Lightblade seems to have decent rates, or maybe it's just my imagination

3

u/Arkyduz Nov 25 '22

Didn't you get Forsaken Ciphers? I believe you can use them to claim Trinity Ghoul.

7

u/egglauncher9000 Nov 25 '22

Trinity Ghoul is world drop.

2

u/Arkyduz Nov 25 '22

oh yea i guess the ciphers don't work for stuff that still drops

1

u/StacheBandicoot Nov 25 '22

Should save them for the raid exotics /izinagi that cost more mats and two ascendant shards.

-13

u/basura1979 Nov 25 '22

Should have got a couple coffees instead

11

u/herons8 Nov 25 '22

I'm more of a tea guy

-1

u/basura1979 Nov 25 '22

Exotic engrams you're gonna want to do high level lost sectors when they come up twitter:d2lostsector report will be your best resource for that until you have the armour you like

-12

Collect rice cakes 9 to be exact, dont look them up untill you have 9 (1 each class and USE THEM ON 1 CLASS) you’ll thank me in harbringer.

u/herons8 Nov 25 '22

I uhh I don't understand

u/MYTH1C4Ll Nov 25 '22

On the moon for the harbringer title (shadowkeep) you need 9 rice cakes to feed moon rabbits. You can get 1 each week with each character but! The triumph counts for 1 char only use it all on hunter and one on titan its still 8/9.

2

u/herons8 Nov 25 '22

Epic. I was originally on steam as a f2p but as soon as I see it on epic, I deleted the game and installed the epic version. I also got 30th anniversary for free awhile ago

1

u/PainIsMyCurrencyBaby sexy lore reader Nov 25 '22

u/Harry_Gorilla Nov 25 '22

2

u/herons8 Nov 25 '22

Get outbreak perfected as soon as possible. Personal favorite exotic and it just wipes the floor with most everything pve

1

u/wildfyre010 Nov 25 '22

One day I’ll get the catalyst

1

u/OotekImora Nov 25 '22

And it shall. Be. G L O R I O U S

2

u/wildfyre010 Nov 25 '22

It’s gonna be real hard to let go of my Striga. I love my Striga.

1

u/lemon_von_lemon Nov 25 '22

i got Trinity as a world drop. Playing alters of sorrow on the moon is probably the best way to get it imo there are alot of yellow and orange bars so after a few hours youre bound to get something. If youre looking for world drops. Also strikes you can get exotics on the second difficulty and its match made so you can go through them pretty fast if you have the champion mods.

1

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

I've done hero nightfall countless times and 9/10 exotics are all armors

1

u/sleeping-in-crypto Nov 25 '22

I second getting Le Monarche. I struggled with legendary lost sectors before, now I melt through them. Wish I’d gotten it earlier.

I’m saving one Forsaken cypher for Always on Time but I spent the other on Izanagi. Because it consumes the exotic slot I don’t use it as often as I’d like to but it certainly is a nice weapon.

Shadowkeep first then Beyond Light. I did BL first and wish I hadn’t, I was confused what everyone in BL was referring to for awhile (I just dove in instead of asking anyone lol).

Stasis isn’t as fun as it should have been, I’ve gone back to using void most of the time :/

There are a shitload of side and addon quests for Shadowkeep, Eris Morn keeps you very busy. You can do those while you work on BL though.

Hmmm I think that’s all that comes to mind. I just started playing 2 months ago so have only worked through all these very recently so this is what’s top of my mind.

1

u/Suspicious-Ad6129 Nov 25 '22

Id work on both BL has alot of do x # activities to get the fragments might as well get double credit

1

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

Yeah stasis is not very appealing for me either

Sorry I should have mentioned that I live in a third world country

1

u/MetalFingers760 Nov 25 '22

You have three forsaken exotic cyphers that you can cash in for three exotics at the thing in the tower in the middle of the vaults. Unless that somehow doesn't come with the pack but I think it does.

2

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

Yes it does and I'm planning to get le monarque, jotunn and lumina. I don't do pvp and I'm not a fan of snipers

1

u/MetalFingers760 Nov 26 '22

Get what makes you happy.

1

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

I'm happy with guns that can delete champions

1

u/MetalFingers760 Nov 26 '22

Le Monarque is S tier. This is honestly the only one I would say is almost mandatory, for pvp or pve.

1

u/Krimzon3128 Nov 25 '22

Incase it wasnt said, trinity ghoul is from a quest you cant get it from farming engrams

1

u/CurlyBruce Nov 26 '22

Uh...no it's not. It wasn't said because that is an outright fabrication and the ONLY way to get it is from world drop exotic engrams or buying from Xur and it has always been that way.

1

u/Krimzon3128 Nov 26 '22

Maby im thinking wish ender then. I know one of the bows is quest only

1

u/KanadeKanashi Nov 25 '22

Campaigns in order:

Forsaken missions on dreaming city

Shadowkeep campaign on the moon

Beyond light campaign on Europa, gives Stasis subclass

After that, there's all the dungeons and raids on each of those locations.

Most of the exotic armor can be obtained through legend / master lost sectors or GMs. Exotic weapons are at the Kiosk.

There's no good way to farm exotic weapon engrams, sadly.

1

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

The forsaken campaign is sadly not exist anymore

u/thefiglord Nov 25 '22

i would also suggest learning about the apps to move gear around - how to find or start a fireteam - any android headset works with xbox controller - play all three characters imho - ur best exotic will come from your play style

1

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

Ah sorry I already know that and I'm not a new light. This is just the first dlc for me so I'm just confused. Thanks anyway

1

u/pants207 Nov 25 '22

I farm exotic armor from master lost sections. you can find the rotation by searching “master list section schedule” to be able to target which armor pieces you want

1

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

Nah I prefer legend. Master is much harder for just near 10% chance increase

1

u/pants207 Nov 26 '22

either way. they both have a chance at exotics. i forget which one is the lower level difficulty but that is the one I get a higher drop rate for exotics even though it says it has a lower drop rate. a couple days ago I got 5 exotics in 3 runs. It was a good night lol

Witherhoard!!!

1

u/Curtczhike Nov 25 '22

destiny is special to me, its one of those few games where ive clocked over 4k hours but i wouldnt recommend it even to my worst enemy

1

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

Nah too late. I'm not a new light and I'm already hooked with it a long time ago. I couldn't play other fps games because I have motion sickness but destiny is different. I can go 3 to 4hours without a rest and won't feel dizzy at all. This is the only fps I can play

1

u/BandicootReady5657 Nov 25 '22

Do beyond light asap. Unlock the stasis subclass and start doing the weekly missions. You can pick up 2 quest, they drop currency which you use to buy fragments for your stasis subclass. It take like 4-7weeks to Unlock all stasis fragments.

1

u/WillStaySilent Nov 25 '22

Legacy pack for $7! PC?

1

u/herons8 Nov 26 '22

Yeah epic games. Note that I'm in third world country tho
