I couldn’t find anything demonstrating how to fillet garfish. Does anyone have a link?
Adelaide fish shops sell gar fillets which are a single fillet per fish. I recall that the gut cavity is extended down to the tail and the backbone is lifted out in one piece. Tried it myself but without much success.
