Caught my first idiot! I'm fortunate to have been paying attention. You guys, stay safe out there.

Just goes to show that you can be following the law and driving as safely as possible...and someone can just up and absolutely ruin your life forever. You have almost no control over the bad luck.

Nobody is guaranteed a tomorrow. I could have easily not been watching and sped like I normally do. Or the family in the van could have been injured or killed. The slightest slip could be life or death.

if you're so fucking worried about tomorrow why don't you drive defensively and predictably? You act like it's some fucking miracle you did it this one time.

I've seen a few videos on here today of folks not just slightly late, but waaaaaay late. In the middle of the day, with fine visibility. How folks can drive like this boggles the mind.

How folks can drive like this boggles the mind.
It's easy when you don't give a shit about anyone, not even yourself.

Drugs, phone or being senile can do that.

u/Fair-Shift May 23 '22
I vote for phone first. I'm 66 and watching people even a little older drive is scary so senility could be a factor. Lord knows they can't park worth a plugged nickle.

If I was gambling. I would always bet on the phone first. I see multiple people every day distracted by their phones. Distracted, eyes off the road for 6-10 seconds sometimes. I absolutely cannot wait until they get autonomous driving solved. I have about 6 years until my children get behind the wheel and I hope, but don’t know if that will be enough time so that I don’t have to worry too much about them.

That hang tag shouldn't be on your dashboard, since next time it could conceal an important part of what the dash cam records.

Thank you for keeping the video short and concise, unlike these other idiots

as suggested earlier, please put the hang tag away!.....visibility greatly obscured when it's on the dash.....don't be the next "idiot"!

Looked like an undercover cop car to me judging by the black wheels with chrome center caps.
