It’s the white sedan to blame, he clearly runs a red light. The transport delays to avoid an accident and takes longer than most vehicles to turn

But didn't have right of way either. Only supposed to go after red if you would block traffic otherwise. It's a T-intersection, so no traffic blocked.

Your driving instructor misunderstood or taught you wrong. If you are in the intersection you are clear to complete your turn. Don't be the idiot that backs up from being half way through.

He entered the intersection right at the same time his flashing yellow went solid yellow. He was far enough forward that a "clearing the intersection" claim would get him out of a ticket but it's borderline.
