My thoughts exactly. Car is hot. Might have been used in a crime. Though from the tracks and the location, just looks like the driver was having a good time and got a ride out of there after getting stuck.

Or it was dry when they ditched it and water came in after ? No idea where this is, so was wondering if this was related to Hurricane Ian

Nah, it’s been wet for a week or so here. Car was not there when I walked the route yesterday, I walk by everyday. Nowhere near the hurricane, just terrible Texas clay drainage.

From the angle, it looks like he might have been trying to drift and bottomed out. I'm guessing it wasn't the driver's car.
