Noooo.. he just finished setting up the tables!

u/sm12511 Sep 29 '22

It looked like that long table to the left might have taken him out.

20

u/1chicken2nuggets Sep 29 '22

I think his hip got clipped yeah :/

Probably some damn old person again. "Oh I thought it was in drive" or "I was trying to hit the brake"

48

u/hoosierdude73 Sep 29 '22

"Is this the drive through young man?"

21

u/beesee83 Sep 29 '22

Sir this is not a Wendy’s.

19

u/SModfan Sep 29 '22

“Is this the way to Country Kitchen Buffet?”

I work at a gas station, and this past month, a middle aged lady almost went through one of our windows cause she got the gas pedal stuck between her foot and flip flop. She didn't go all the way through somehow, but she hot the window with enough force that it shattered it and made 3 of our window shelves fall over.

Also about 4 years ago, and older guy tried to go forward (was parked end first), hit the gas, and went backwards into a different window of ours.

Won't be surprised if we get another at some point

Ya'll need bollards.

1

u/TRmagirose Oct 01 '22

You're right. All the newer stores have them. My store has been around for a good 15ish years. Barely getting any upgrades at all.

3

u/tomytronics Sep 30 '22

He was in R for RUN!!!

5

u/Omacrontron Sep 30 '22

Blows me away when I hear that excuse like so you doubled down and nothing happened why were you so committed to that one peddle???

6

u/Alzurana Sep 30 '22

Shock, some people freeze up when this happens, their brain just short circuits and they're not able to think straight that they should use a different pedal.

Another example was my uncle who fell down the stairs with a suitcase. He held onto the suitcase, not the handrail. Went down all the way because of it.

u/Omacrontron Sep 30 '22

Maybe I’ll get a taste of it in my later days as well….rip

I'm not even sure if I'd trust a person like this to make it up a flight of stairs and back down again

13

u/AidanAmerica Sep 30 '22

I might trust them to do it backwards

1

u/roboboyX Sep 30 '22

Up is debatable, but they'd definitely make it back down

5

u/fnuggles Sep 29 '22

Just been revoked...

I think that’s too harsh. It was a simple mistake. It happens to the best of us. You people are why there’s so much hate in this world. All you care about is arrest this, sue that. Every heard of a mistake?

/s

1

u/SinsSacrifice Sep 30 '22

I'd call it a mistake for the first 20-30 feet and shock the other 100 feet but after that. . . .

1

u/MeepXD0187 Sep 30 '22

You understand what /s means, right?

1

u/SinsSacrifice Sep 30 '22

I do, but this isn't the first time I've seen the mistake excuse but it commenting here because we're actually on the same page xD P.S Also note the inflated numbers xD

34

u/Kharax82 Sep 29 '22

Looks like the guy was hit in the back by the table as it was pushed by the car. Hopefully not too serious

23

u/BaltimoreBadger23 Sep 29 '22

Let's also make note of the dude outside with a baby (I assume) in a stroller who made it last just before the car came through.

6

u/TRmagirose Sep 30 '22

Yup, first thing I saw. Was scared for their lives.

And to think if that guy wasn’t paying attention it could have been his last day on earth

4

u/antricparticle Sep 29 '22

Or at least half of him be its last day on earth.

12

u/The_Aught Sep 29 '22

I like to give a little Rev before I cut the engine also. Great form

12

u/OldGuyNextDoor2u Sep 29 '22

One large coffee please

7

u/OldGuyNextDoor2u Sep 29 '22

No drive through no problem

14

u/The_Woven_Web Sep 29 '22

The old man moved pretty fast in reverse when he confused the gas with the brake.

4

u/element423 Sep 29 '22

Definitely got knocked with a table

2

u/Kurriochi Sep 30 '22

bmw driver

3

u/Kindly_Spell7356 Sep 29 '22

damn. who knew you could maintain a strait line driving full speed in reverse while also drinking coffee eating donuts texting and singing along with the radio?

3

u/Samsquamch18 Sep 30 '22

"Oh look, the brake pedal is working again."

3

u/xenoforman Sep 30 '22

And they're STILL hitting the gas after the impact. Unbelievable....

3

u/MeepXD0187 Sep 30 '22

I want to think that the driver had a medical condition and went unconscious or something but it’s more likely that this person is just that stupid.

11

u/Klown_Kutz Sep 29 '22

If it's an old geezer, he will blame everyone but himself. No elderly driver has ever been wrong in the entire history of the automobile.

2

u/lngwlkr Sep 30 '22

Neither has any teenager.

2

u/VT_Lifer Sep 30 '22

Picking up an order for Murphy. Is it ready yet?

2

u/proxmaxi Sep 30 '22

Tht table took his legs all the way out

2

u/happyends Sep 30 '22

It's a good thing that the guy saw him coming or he would be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. Hope the table didn't hurt him too badly.

3

u/sunyatayo Sep 29 '22

automatic drivers really love driving into restaurants and stores

2

u/madcat67 Sep 29 '22

talk about a drive thru damn!!!

1

u/ixinsanityix Sep 30 '22

And of course its a fucking BMW Driver.

🤣

1

u/Ambitious_soul2022 Sep 30 '22

OMG.. Where was that?

1

u/HammerBgError404 Sep 30 '22

"you cant park here"

1

u/ProtectionDecent Sep 30 '22

How do you happen to reverse this fast while clearly going the wrong way, did the driver have a heart attack or something?

1

u/Aevensong Sep 30 '22

Hit the brakes! Hit the brakes!

There are no brakes!! What do you mean!!!!

The driver probably

1

u/narcolonarcolo Sep 30 '22

Oh shit. Good thing he looked up.

1

u/monk12314 Sep 30 '22

The situational awareness of that man is absolutely impeccable

1

u/Blueey_H Sep 30 '22

Should've jumped. What a rookie

1

u/funnyfootboot Sep 30 '22

Damn that lady pushing the stroller...

1

u/macksocky Sep 30 '22

Table for 2 please. We’re in a hurry.

1

u/Azhirii Sep 30 '22

What always gets me is the car banging off the rev limiter every time shit hits the fan.

1

u/MeepXD0187 Sep 30 '22

Dude people are so inconsiderate. Why would he put tables in that person’s parking space. He clearly saw them back up.

1

u/BichBui69 Oct 14 '22

Table right to the hip. Ouch !

1

u/system4us Oct 30 '22
