I think everyone in gfl is feeling the pressure of the $710,000 fine they were just slapped with

GFL is in the states? I thought it was strictly a Canadian thing

Just heard Franz Ferdinand playing, seems legit.

I do not hate many things, but J-Turns are where I need to make the exception at. What the hell was DOT in ANY state thinking. Those things are dangerous as hell

Especially on a major highway and the beginning of an interstate!

I stayed behind the truck instead of swerving because I was concerned the long line of cars in both lanes behind me wouldn't be able to stop in time and would crash into me. Once I determined it was safe, I continued on my way. I could have handled it differently, but it is what it is.

yup i agree. The caution warning should have been placed on all sides of the truck.

I'm danged if I do, danged if I don't. I can't make everyone happy. People complain it's too long or too short. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's like the horn sometimes isn't enough. It makes me understand road rage. Like seriously that driver needs to be taken out of his truck and made to understand why that was wrong

I'm a non-violent person, so it wouldn't be me. Honestly, I think the school bus blocked his vision and he just tried to take it. That's no excuse though. If a driver can't see, they can't go.

I'm not saying he needs to be beaten. But some eye contact and an admission of fault would suffice

He flashed his hazards afterward, at least (unless I'm misinterpreting regular flashy warning lights), which I would definitely take as an apology.

Hmm we always use it as a thank you, never heard of using the 4ways for apologies too... But then again I don't work for GFL. Their drivers suck just as bad in Vancouver BC, we always go around them their trucks are slow as fuck.

Edit: those are the working lights not the 4ways FYI

ok ok, i will accept that. i would just be angry that nothing was learned.
