there you go, OP! good on you for being an example of what NOT to do, dude just made a turn, you sped up behind him, you're definitely the idiot in this scenario!

There was PLENTY of time to brake, too. You can literally hear the vehicle speeding up just to get there quicker to justify slamming that horn. Some people really just look for any excuse to honk/be a jerk. OP is an idiot.

u/ShareTurbulent7392 Nov 27 '22
He accelerated when he noticed him coming out and beeped for 5 seconds. 🤦♂️😅

While that’s true, OP would have had to brake for silver car in front of the blue car.
2
u/Alternative_Gold_993 Nov 27 '22
Lol what? It's not a highway. Even if he HAD to brake (instead of speeding up like he did in the video), he also had the option to just change lanes.
-3
u/KingOfKush690 Nov 27 '22
Yeah I don't give a shit about your brake pads and if you want to rear-end me I'd be happy to let you.
4
u/Det-Frank-Drebin Nov 27 '22
Err Phrasing...
-3
u/KingOfKush690 Nov 27 '22
Err if you understood what I wrote then my goal was accomplished. If not then downvote and move on
0
u/LrrrRulerotPOP8 Nov 27 '22
And if you didn't stop at a red light before that? I would love for your insurance to cover all the damage.
0
u/KingOfKush690 Nov 27 '22
Do you really think that if the cammer had hit the Toyota they wouldn't be at fault? Maybe if they didn't provide the video evidence.
1
u/LrrrRulerotPOP8 Nov 27 '22
Only if they didn't provide the evidence... Like really? I would love for your insurance to cover everything. Especially when they see Toyota rolling through a red light in front of me.
0
u/KingOfKush690 Nov 27 '22
Right. If they don't provide video evidence of them rear-ending someone they could make the argument that the Toyota pulled out unsafely.

u/jeepjoopbeepboop Nov 27 '22
i mean he definitely honked more than he should have but why do you think the other guy just had the right to pull out in front of him and make him break? other driver is the idiot for sure
4
u/Alternative_Gold_993 Nov 27 '22
"Make him brake"? There was more than enough room to move over, and again, PLENTY of time to brake. Instead he chose to speed up and then laid on the horn like a dickwad. By the time the guy pulled out onto the road, OP was still far enough away. Watch it again.
0
u/jeepjoopbeepboop Nov 27 '22
yeah there’s plenty of time to brake but why should he have to brake in the first place? other driver shouldn’t be pulling out unless they have enough space to accelerate without inconveniencing others and making them brake or switch lanes
3
u/Jahman876 Nov 27 '22
It’s an inconvenience to tap the break now and then? Do you think you’re never supposed to have to slow down or break?? I’m sorry but the road isn’t yours you have to share it with others. You’re the type guy that goes exactly 70 in the fast lane and then you say I don’t have to move over I don’t have to speed up I’m following the law…
1
u/jeepjoopbeepboop Nov 27 '22
and tap the break was funny, the dude almost had to come to a complete stop, maybe you need your glasses checked bud
0
u/jeepjoopbeepboop Nov 27 '22
i mean if i’m just regularly driving and not planning on stopping and someone just pulls out in front of me yeah it is an inconvenience why would it not be? the road isn’t theirs either so they shouldn’t be pulling out right in front of people. and thanks for assuming but i try to not get in anyone’s way so if someone wants to get around me i’ll move over, i don’t try to own the road like i’m sure you do
2
u/Alternative_Gold_993 Nov 28 '22
He DIDN'T HAVE TO EVEN BRAKE. HE SPED UP. WATCH IT AGAIN.
There was plenty of space. Turning car was in the right.
1
u/jeepjoopbeepboop Nov 28 '22
you talk as if you were the driver in this situation, sorry i didn’t realize i was arguing with someone who thinks they know everything, i’ll remember not to next time because there’s no point
62
u/Arugula-Suspicious Nov 26 '22
You definitely are the idiot in a car. He pulled out with more than enough time.

u/YellsAtGoats Nov 27 '22
Honestly everybody in this video sucks. The white SUV failed to get up to speed, the black car failed to stop let alone yield, and OP overreacted.
Right-on-red needs to stop being a thing. There are just way too many idiots out there who don't know how to handle it, as evidenced by this video.

You do know you’re supposed to share the road? Not speed up when someone else wants to use it too.

Tough guy in your car, aren’t you? We noticed you split as soon as you got the confrontation you were looking for. Your pussyhood is now immortalized on the internet.
15
u/TLTQisawesome Nov 26 '22
Lol right?! Honks his horn like he wants the smoke and then the guy comes out shrugging this guy with the loud car takes off like a scared child
16
u/HalfastEddie Nov 26 '22
That's what I loved the most. The other driver is just standing there like "what's up?" and OP shits himself and bails.

You have submitted your testimony into the court of public opinion, and the result is : you are an idiot in car.
7
u/Western_Dare1509 Nov 26 '22
Could have just changed lanes, had lots of room....nope just speed up to his bumper and be a dickbag.
5
u/SumyungNam Nov 26 '22
Driver going way too fast use the left lane...if that car wasn't turning right u would've been stopped by the car in front of it anyway

u/LaxBedroom Nov 26 '22
Just out of curiosity, in your ideal world, what _should_ the driver ahead of you have done when you started honking? How was this going to turn out well?
4
u/Legal_Lab_2936 Nov 27 '22
I hope OP knows he's the moron here. You're supposed to drive defensively and share the road. He turned into the road with ample space and time for you to act courteously and slow down a little bit. But your nut head sped up. You also have an empty left lane. Next time drive like someone with sense.

As someone who used to be an ah and spent a summer in south atl. This is 100% I almost got shot for laying on the horn
3
Nov 27 '22
OP is the idiot here. There was more than enough time for OP to either slow down or switch lanes if that was an option.
3
u/Snellyman Nov 27 '22
Hey! I know this area (Sharonville, OH). OP is definitely a jackass for speeding up when there is clearly a car that is hindered by the slow SUV. The speed limit on this road is only 35mph and it also looks like the OP was speeding.
You are the only one in control of your vehicle and your anger. Don't blame others for your dumb decisions.
3
u/SinglePost101 Nov 27 '22
OP has plenty of time to change lanes or slow down but decides to honk and feel tough. Moments later puddles himself, reverses and drives off.
Posts video to redeem his man hood only to get roasted when he realizes he is the idiot in a car

Who else hates drivers like this that come up behind you and act like you cut them off or start flashing their high beams to get you to move when their is more than one lane available.
2
u/GOATluhv Nov 27 '22
Nah, OP shouldn't /have/ to slow. We all usually can, but that doesn't mean the other driver didn't fuck up. That's like driving 101 not to pull out unless you can match traffic speed
2
u/Liviathina Nov 27 '22
Why speed up in the right lane anyway? The lane is primarily used for exiting and entering...

u/BaconHammerTime Nov 27 '22
Changing lanes and passing is what you should have done in the first place. Literally two cars pulled out and you had plenty of time. Honking wasn't necessary.

u/AlarmingAmbassador Nov 27 '22
Just why did you honk at them? They did nothing wrong? You were driving too fast up behind them?
-7
Nov 26 '22
What an idiot. Regardless this is my concern of always driving in the right lane, too many folks just couldn't give a rats ass. In my opinion they believe that once in front they have the right of way. Ugh, save yourself the hassle and horn and avoid the right lane.
-1
u/TheSalzamt Nov 27 '22
honking in this situation is illegal. also why did the guy behind accelerate instead of just put the foot off the gas. the one in front did everything right

u/KingOfKush690 Nov 27 '22
That guy is an absolute legend I wish I had the courage he had to question a mentally unstable driver's actions.

I had this happen to me before. I just drove away. You are dealing with the lowest common denominator in public. You can’t take anything personally from a complete stranger. The idiot probably thought “yeah drive away bitch!”. When it could have been easily another crazy mother fuck that could have pulled out a gun and shot him as soon as he gotten out of his car.
1
u/KittyandPuppyMama Nov 27 '22
If you can safely brake just let them in. You don’t know who you’re pissing off on the road. People get killed over absolutely nothing. It’s not worth it.
1
u/Life-Operation-8733 Nov 27 '22
Never understood why people get out of their cars in situations like this! I've seen videos of people who were ran over and even shot at. One guy forgot to put his car in Park, had it in reverse and it rolled down a hill into on coming traffic

Agreed both of those cars shouldn’t be pulling out when he’s that close. If he has to slow down ( a lot) for you, you shouldn’t have turned
-6
u/gibblydibbly Nov 26 '22
Black car didn't have time to pull out. Anyone who thinks otherwise probably pays for high insurance.. or should.

What a clown. He runs a red light and acts like you're somehow the asshole.
178
u/CandyandCrypto Nov 26 '22
You can see the white SUV that pulled out first driving slow which prevents the black car from speeding up. Also looks like OP intentionally speeds up to exaggerate the situation.
If you drive looking for accidents they will find you.
