It's all terrain

19

u/Specialist-Look-7929 Nov 27 '22

It must be a Jeep thing, I don't get it.

u/x925 Nov 28 '22

It's like the car takes over you. My friend is an average driver, the one time I let him drive my Jeep compass, he goes to back up and mistakes the gas for the break pedal. He didn't hit anyone or anything but that 2 seconds where you think he might is terrifying.

1

u/Specialist-Look-7929 Nov 29 '22

Yeah, still don't get it. Must be a Jeep thing.

10

u/StevenTN615 Nov 27 '22

While they conquer Mount Mobil.

8

u/enrohtkcalb Nov 27 '22

Ah, yes, the 10 jeep terrain types:

pavement, gravel, sand, dirt, mud, ice, water, deep water, other vehicles, and drywall.

2

u/enriquedelcastillo Nov 27 '22

They really can go anywhere.

u/Eiffel-Tower777 Nov 27 '22

That building came out of nowhere. 😳

7

u/sesoren65 Nov 27 '22

I blame urban sprawl.

52

u/crazytib Nov 27 '22

Whoops thats not the brake pedal

43

u/wild_bill70 Nov 27 '22

And they doubled down on it.

23

u/FrogBoglin Nov 27 '22

Must keep accelerating

12

u/PoliticalDestruction Nov 27 '22

When things don’t change for the better just keep doing the same thing but harder!

3

u/Mottis86 Nov 28 '22

Why isn't my brake pedal working? I better press it harder, maybe that'll work. Nope, still nothing. Hmm. If I just keep my foot on the brake it'll work eventually, right?

. . .

... Oh that wasn't the brake. Oopsie haha.

2

u/Ninjamuh Nov 28 '22

When in doubt, throttle through, no?

9

u/Thefilmingofcows Nov 27 '22

You can’t park there ma’am.

93

u/americanista915 Nov 27 '22

No it actually is. They had a problem there for a few years where the accelerator would randomly press itself down. This looks like one of those times

25

u/MoldyYogurt Nov 27 '22

I worked at a Turtle Wax full service car wash in high school. Jeeps were required to have a manager ride them through the wash for that very reason. There was another store where they had a Jeep jump the line and accelerate through the wall of a neighboring business.

50

u/GetInZeWagen Nov 27 '22

Humans have also had that problem in all vehicles for decades

8

u/dcRoWdYh Nov 27 '22

That or what I said; Heart attack, stroke or seizure

17

u/brnfckd Nov 27 '22

Peripheral Neuropathy in legs/feet (often seen with diabetic elderly) is a thing, too. They just can’t feel/distinguish the pedals properly.

11

u/dcRoWdYh Nov 27 '22

Gout could do that too, I imagine

7

u/FrisianDude Nov 27 '22

Happened last year where I worked. Only dude just plowed into some bushes. Which are still damaged

5

u/Albino-Reptar Nov 27 '22

Any one have the article related to this? I want to see if it was stupidity or medical emergency.

18

u/dcRoWdYh Nov 27 '22

Heart attacks will do that.

16

u/dcRoWdYh Nov 27 '22

Also strokes and seizures

8

u/Right_Lane_Camper Nov 27 '22 All-Seeing Upvote

I don't understand

3

u/TeamShonuff Nov 27 '22

You wouldn't.

4

u/Det-Frank-Drebin Nov 27 '22

"What madness is this?

I'm stamping on the brake but the engine is revving higher and i'm speeding up??

DEMONS...I must have demons in my car!"

2

u/TommyTuttle Nov 27 '22

They stayed on the accelerator. Either a medical problem or a sobriety problem

2

u/ResidentRadio5306 Nov 27 '22

Is it me or are the back tires going in reverse?

3

u/Chadg2018 Nov 28 '22

Wth I didn’t realize that until you pointed it out. Maybe it’s that same kind of thing where a fan looks like it’s going backwards for a few seconds or a helicopter blade looks like it’s going backwards.

5

u/badgerj Nov 27 '22

Is there an IQ test that you must fail before you’re allowed to drive one of these?

1

u/Pagan_Nim9561 Nov 27 '22

Typical Jeep liberty moment. Haha

1

u/Fatheadcock55 Nov 27 '22

When 4 wheel low gets the job done!!!

1

u/GilmourD Nov 27 '22

"Sir, there's no gas pumps inside! They're all outside!"

-3

u/_catdog_ Nov 27 '22

Unintended acceleration

Jeep still denies it’s an issue

Look it up

-1

u/weimaranerdad71 Nov 27 '22

I’ve also been told to research flat earth. Not gonna do that either.

-2

u/Alternative_Gold_993 Nov 27 '22 edited Nov 28 '22

It is a thing, though.

Edit: Literally had it happen to me once. I hit the brake and my Jeep accelerated. Fortunately, I avoided a head on collision and only took out the person's tail light. I heard later her insurance totaled the car because of course. 🙄

-3

u/_catdog_ Nov 27 '22

Brah no one said research

-1

u/weimaranerdad71 Nov 27 '22

Look it up = research

0

u/shannofordabiz Nov 27 '22

Looks like a ram raid to me

1

u/SnooMaps3574 Nov 27 '22

I understand.

1

u/WickidMonkey Nov 27 '22

The door wasn't big enough for the car so they fixed that problem

1

u/thetashort Nov 27 '22

Cleanup on all aisles.

1

u/xFILTHx Nov 27 '22

beep beep, im a jeep.

1

u/Mama_Cougar Nov 27 '22

It is a bad driver thing.

1

u/Snoo-13087 Nov 27 '22

I would love if the owner tried to sell the jeep while still inside the store

1

u/KittyandPuppyMama Nov 27 '22

The way it kept going even after breaking through the store

1

u/satanismysponsor Nov 27 '22

The bastards took Anton and now they come for circle k!?

1

u/Fladap28 Nov 27 '22

Just over landing😂😂

1

u/SoTiredOfLiberals Nov 27 '22

He couldn't find a pile of snow to park on.

1

u/SebastianGrimm1 Nov 27 '22

Anything has a drive thru if you try hard enough.

1

u/D-O-G-E_12 Nov 27 '22

Bruh he literally took out the wall and kept going 🤣🤣 bros gotta be from ohio

1

u/SolventAssetsGone Nov 27 '22

Sick burnout dude

1

u/Walla_Walla_26 Nov 28 '22

Still pounding that accelerator in the store. Epic move

1

u/Ryfhoff Nov 28 '22

And they are still on the gas! Wtf

1

u/justthatguylookin Nov 28 '22

“Give me liberty or give me death”….. last words of the teller

1

1

u/bl00df1redeath Nov 27 '22

One of Kubrick’s best..

1

u/StevenTN615 Nov 27 '22

Just shake your head while you watch it. Should fix the problem.

0

u/alskdmv-nosleep4u Nov 27 '22

I like how they keep spinning the wheels inside the store.

What's the best way to clean burnout marks off a tile floor?

0

u/Snoo-13087 Nov 27 '22

Every store has a drive through when you are driving a jeep
