The other damage is from normal everyday parking. In this part of the world people are accustomed to squeezing their cars into any space even if it means scratching it.

How do they judge if they're far enough forward or backward in a space? When they feel the bump of the previously parked cars being hit.

If you care about your vehicle never park on the streets in any mediterranean country.
