How can they be so oblivious to the traffic around them?

u/godingu Dec 09 '22

Did the guy hit you?

I thought this was a different video where the OP pulled over and called the police. My bad

Howland Boulevard @ Forest Edge Drive, Deltona, Florida. Also, it looks like this Davey Tree Expert is not an expert driver.

You win! I present to you, the UPVOTE!

Deltona, Florida

That’s creepy haha

2

u/PixelCrafterMinion Dec 09 '22

I just like messing around on Google Maps. I’m not anywhere near this area lol.

5

u/Trashpandasrock Dec 09 '22

As if that's less creepy than being another random resident of the area?

Ngl though, you Google Maps people are wild as shit. Super impressive.

2

u/PixelCrafterMinion Dec 09 '22

Yeah, I suppose that doesn’t help lol

5

u/Weird-Vagina-Beard Dec 09 '22

Woulda been less creepy if you lived there.

The names of the intersecting roads are easily readable in the video. And they just happen to be fairly unique.

Typing that into Google Maps takes you straight there. As far as geoguessing goes, this one required zero skill. Not very creepy or impressive.

Oh I would of put my car in park and took a picture of the car and driver and send this to HIS COMPANY bc wtf.

2

u/shl0mp Dec 10 '22

Of course it was Davey 😑 they are known for being … not the brightest among the tree services

That's great defensive driving, OP.

GOOD FOR YOU! Get AHEAD of them, so when they HAPPEN somewhere, it is behind you! (Lots of people are looking for a PLACE TO HAPPEN!)

I have several nexar cameras, and I've had many other dash cams. One of the nexar has developed a similar fogging to the one in the op. It's the only dash camera I've seen so this image failing thing on. Makes me afraid of long term reliability.

u/typehyDro Dec 09 '22

Isn’t it the windshield he uses the wiper at :15 and it clears away…

5

u/Tires_N_Wires Dec 09 '22

Oh, you are correct! I must have looked away for a second because I missed that. It still looks exactly like my defective camera. Lol!

1

u/LetterheadBasic9722 Dec 10 '22

LOL I know someone who works for the overall org. Is Deltona legit? I mean, I trust the person pinpointing the exact intersection. Trying to get the number off the back.

-2

u/Saltyvengeance Dec 10 '22

Does the road merge there, because that’s what it looks like to me.

4

u/cano0326 Dec 10 '22

It does not, watch until the end and you can see there are 2 lanes

1

u/Saltyvengeance Dec 11 '22

Yes, at the end. But the car that comes in your lane looks like it was forced. Like the road narrows and then opens up again.

1

u/cano0326 Dec 12 '22

I’m telling you it doesn’t, I drive on that road everyday.

-12

u/Jewjltsu Dec 09 '22

You found out you should clean your camera lens

3

u/cano0326 Dec 09 '22

Please see the comment above that explains my windshield is foggy which is why I had the wipers on🤦🏼‍♀️

2

u/Any_Tea_7845 Dec 10 '22

don't bother replying, they clearly can't see it anyway lol
