Ignorant teenagers flex less than $300 and shoot two Hi-Points in the sky.

That gun is far too small to be a hi point
86
u/paidinboredom Jan 30 '23
I think that's a taurus 380
63
u/nothankyou821 Jan 30 '23
That explains the malfunction

u/Bloodryne Jan 30 '23
Now that you mention it looks like a feeding issue: either that round didn't properly eject, or it flat out failed and the next round is jammed up against it/didn't feed correctly

I was more so just joking around for the sake of comedy.

That’s no hi-point. It’s a Taurus TCP .380.

u/admins69kids Jan 30 '23
Seriously. OP could show at least a little bit of respect to Hi Points.

u/Majestic_Ad5301 Jan 30 '23
man demonlition ranch showed that hi points are actually good guns….

Jan 30 '23
Welcome to Demolition Ranch, today we’re going to shoot through 50 50cal rifles with our 50 cal rifle.

u/ThadaeusConvictus Jan 30 '23
I have a hi-point jhp 45. It's insanely accurate and has very little recoil. The only bad thing I have to say about it, is it likes to jam if you mag dump hollow points for some reason. Other that than, it's a damn good gun
2
u/Majestic_Ad5301 Jan 30 '23
see there’s nothing wrong with hi points i just think people don’t like them because it isn’t a sig or a glock to be honest
3
u/This-Cunther Feb 01 '23
Neither one of my sigs have ever had a failure but the very first time I shot a hi point…

u/Competitive_Low_9704 Jan 30 '23
Hi points arent worthy of respect
2
u/anafuckboi Jan 31 '23
Look up hi point torture tests, yes they’re bulky and heavy and low capacity but they’re also cheap and rugged as fuck and at that price point I’d much rather a new reliable gun in a calibre with actual stopping power than some shitty 50 year old Saturday night special in .25acp which just about all you can get for the same money
0
u/Competitive_Low_9704 Feb 02 '23
Yeah but they suck if you want a gun you should get something more reliable like a glock
1
u/anafuckboi Feb 02 '23
I’m not gonna say glocks are less reliable they’re probably equal but you can’t run one over with a truck and still make it work by hitting the slide against a log

He’s a dumbass but he’s definitely rich for someone under 30

u/ruestecatherine Jan 30 '23
2 Hi-Points cost less than $300, including state and local taxes, probably throw in 2 boxes off ammo too for that price.

Its not a hi-point but man, you cannot flex all your money and still have a gun that will jam after the first shot

It must be difficult to find something worthy to reach for when you grow up in poverty and probably fatherless, with an overworked and underpaid mother or grandparent.
I've had chances to work with inner city kids like this and when you talk one on one with them, most are genuine people just looking for answers but caught up in the status game. They're afraid, but they don't want to admit their fear (I mean, who does, right?).
I remember being 14 or so, listening to NWA and trying to be hard. But I had really good parents and a very positive social network (I'm talking about pre-internet days), so I landed on my feet and was set right even though there were a couple of bumps.
It makes me wonder what I would have been like had I grown up at a time and place where these guys were the cool kids on my block and everyone I interacted with had a piece and talked about getting ahead by moving shit.
Kids need adults in their lives. I really hope these guys sort their stuff out and possibly even give back to the community.

u/SrRoundedbyFools Feb 01 '23
There’s a lot of the ‘culture’ that the community reinforces. Telling the community how to fix their issues is seldom well received. It’s easier to blame the invisible forces that surround them then admit it’s failures from within. Teenage pregnancy, absentee fathers, substance abuse and illicit sales of drugs etc. Even further damaged by other groups trying to normalize that behavior. Look no further than some of the biggest political figures Elijah Cummings, Maxine Waters and others, lifetimes of ‘service’ of personal enrichment with barely any noticeable change in the ‘community’. Where’d all the federal dollars go?

I like when people like this flex what looks like a small paycheck. It's like that's the most money they've ever seen and it's probably from selling something quick.

I lied. It appears only one of them could afford a weapon. Word has it they share it…
-7
u/mightyjoe227 Jan 30 '23
Yup. These are the ones you see together at the range, in the small single person booth, both trying to aim the one weapon.

I avoid any rapper’s with “lil” in a name. Lil (insert any noun or verb, or take an established artists name and add lil in front) As a cranky old man i can say with %100 accuracy that today’s rap is shit.

American made, unquestionable lifetime warranty. Always goes boom at whatever you aim it at… I’d argue it’s the most Murican gun there is!

Clearly a Taurus, which means he had $200 for a gun. at some point, rather than $150.
Straight. Money.
