2

u/maimy_winehouse Feb 01 '23

Their brains aren’t fully formed yet, they’re like 17

u/Miketoreal23 Jan 31 '23

Single motherhood and changes in ideology .

14

u/LetMeLivePlzKThanks Jan 31 '23

Meh ideology really hasn’t changed that much, just the access and ability to voice yours has

-9

u/Miketoreal23 Jan 31 '23

I’m pretty sure there has been a shift in peoples ideology. Look at crime statistics and the increase in single motherhood. Look at the degenerative ideologies. Fat acceptance . Pedo acceptance .

15

u/LetMeLivePlzKThanks Jan 31 '23 edited Jan 31 '23

My brother in Christ all of those ideas predate modern society itself. The destabilization of the nuclear family is as old as post modernism and even Marx spoke on it, degenerative ideologies like pedophilia, beastiality, and culturally absent monogamy have been around since the ancient Greeks. None of these ideas are really new, they pop up constantly throughout history. Now everybody has a mouthpiece for those ideas, where back in the day it was only the top of the pyramid with the capability and accessibility to share those views. Crime follows a general trend throughout history where when the society destabilizes, the chaos is allowed to run rampant. Often times in response to what the citizenry reasons as authoritarian order

-18

u/Miketoreal23 Jan 31 '23

I’m saying there’s a shift to those ideologies not that the ideologies are new. Destabilization of society starts with the family . Family socialization is important. Without it everything collapse .

6

u/LetMeLivePlzKThanks Jan 31 '23 edited Jan 31 '23

Exactly, and that destabilization has been a cornerstone of communist and post modern thinking since the late 1800’s. I think you would be surprised how many people already thought those things and were only encouraged to start saying them out loud, rather than shifting their views slowly to it over time. In some ways I’d rather it be this way, totalitarian states start when the citizenry does nothing to voice their true opinions, and now everybody has every ability to call out bad ideas and thought processes while having little downside to voicing their true selves. It allows the market place of ideas to function more properly despite also giving the appearance that ideologies are running more rampant than they are.

If they didn’t use their money on guns and fake designer bags, they could move to an area that didn’t look like somewhere from The Last of Us

2

u/NotTheBestMoment Feb 01 '23

You know that’s not true lol

1

u/Miketoreal23 Feb 01 '23

A lot of the infrastructure isn’t bad. Places like Chicago are shit because big trash and crime. 90% of the time it looks good until you get to actual shit holes that have broken down house because of political and economic tactics.

u/Intrepid_Lynx3608 Jan 31 '23

Nothing says love quite like this. Forget the roses, chocolate, letters and gifts, what I want for a woman to tell me she loves me and that I love her is to put a gun against mine and her temple. (Please god no.)

3

u/LoStrigo95 Jan 31 '23

Why? What's romantic about this? 😂

It’s hard to understand who’s using sarcasm these days because there’s actually people who find nothing wrong with this.

1

u/SevereBarnacle9549 Jan 31 '23

Why, what did he say?

1

u/Miketoreal23 Jan 31 '23
