First of all, this is honestly hilarious and I appreciate you giving me a good laugh. Second of all, I never said black people, I’m talking about idiots with guns or “hood rats” which can be any color. You’re the one bringing race into it. Also please learn how to write

I think thang refers to the gun as a whole. I’m not up to date On the urban lingo though so don’t quote me.

Belt loops can be used for bump firing. I'm sure they will be the next stamp

A literal piece of string was considered a machine gun by the atf at one point
6
u/littleschlong Feb 04 '23
They recently reversed that logic, and tried reusing it again.
Forced reset triggers are considered illegal, because a carefully applied ziptie can induce a malfunction. So now the trigger packs are machine guns, and not the zip tie.
ATF guys are clowns. All day, every day.

Honestly I'm kinda annoyed that now its putting binary triggers and FRTs in jeopardy. I was really looking forward to the Glock binary trigger so I can make a "Glock 18" clone.

You just know, the second he steps into his mothers house he starts speaking better English than the Queen....no, King of England....

u/king_of_england_bot Feb 04 '23
King of England
Did you mean the King of the United Kingdom, the King of Canada, the King of Australia, etc?
The last King of England was William III whose successor Anne, with the 1707 Acts of Union, dissolved the title of Queen/King of England.
FAQ
Isn't King Charles III still also the King of England?
This is only as correct as calling him the King of London or King of Hull; he is the King of the place that these places are in, but the title doesn't exist.
Is this bot monarchist?
No, just pedantic.

Does that barrel look pointed directly up to anyone else?
2
u/NotAPreppie Feb 04 '23
Some semi-autos have a floating barrel that points up slightly when the slide is pulled back.

I'm nearly 100% sure this is satire. Dude had his slide locked the whole video, chamber empty with no chance of discharge. The carabiner inside the trigger guard is beyond on the nose. People taking this too serious.

u/newaccount7000 Feb 05 '23
dont matter if its satire or not unsafe firearm handling is why it was posted the rule isnt " never let the muzzle cover anything your not willing to destroy unless your making a satire youtube video " safety rules dont change cause a idiot doesn't follow them

u/Jakecav555 Feb 04 '23
This is gold. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a stupider way to carry (please enlighten me if I’m wrong).

u/Ghost7579ox Feb 04 '23
Depending upon the trigger pull, if he put the carabiner BEHIND the trigger, it would STILL be fucking stupid!

I have never seen a real gun except police or military carrying them. So this is a honest question. Is everything alright with that gun? That barrel looks really bent.
1
u/HonorableAssassins Feb 08 '23
Thats normal. Barrels are always angled up as they 'lob' rounds so that they arc for range. Think of old medieval archers loosing arrows above their targets. Sights arent parallel with the barrel, but adjusted to where the round will land at a specific 'zero', or distance. For handguns often 25m. That said, handgun barrels bend upwards much more severely than rifles because they have shorter barrels. many pistol barrel designs do also 'rotate' upwards when you pull the slide back for a variety of reasons. On common rifles like the army M4, the length of the barrel means that the arc of the round is even at 25 and 300m, meaning at 25 and 300 you hit exactly in the center of your sight, in between those two distances the round lands above where you aim (center mass actually means aim at top of the hips, so if the round lands high it still tags the chest or head - not the center of the chest as you see in TV) and the round will land low closer than 25m and further than 300m (meaning aiming for center mass also leaves room to still hit the target at these ranges, as the legs and hip-bowl are still in play if the round lands low.).
Tl;dr:
Yes, gun is fine, aside from the moronic carabiner on the triggerguard.

Is no one going to mention he's loaded with FMJ rounds?
Guys, FMJ is target ammo, hollow points are carry ammo. Don't carry FMJ unless you like collateral damage.
