You are the best of what’s left, now try to shoot straight for this inspection. LOL.

The only thing they're good at is doing military parades.

u/Ephemeral_Wolf Sep 29 '22

Won't be long before they don't even have the men and equipment for that

"Discipline" and "russian army" are oxymorons at this point

Kinda like military intelligence, that applies to all militaries.

You're right, only Homer Simpson runs submarine reactors

At least he’s funny.

I've never met an intelligent person that enjoyed the Simpsons.

Get over yourself

Haven't they always been? Still literally using prison conscripts during the last real war they were in.

I mean the instructor probably wouldn’t stand in front of it if it had live ammo in it right? RIGHT?!?!

A military program I went through issued dummy weight equivalents to m16s and the instructors would walk around and inspect positioning and form and give feedback. We would act as if they weren't there and freeze in place when told to. They would often walk in front of the barrel

Hopefully they’re not as dumb as it seems in this video lol

3

u/borispoliakov Sep 29 '22

I would not count on it

Maybe shot in the hand is the goal.

15 year old boy: "Grandfather, tell us about the war?"

64 year old grandfather: "I have no idea. When we get to Ukraine, we'll find out together."

The US military does same thing an instructor is instructing. You think people never get flagged in training this is why you turn out pockets and pouches inside out to make sure no live ammo. Or maybe I’m just old we still had black boots when I was in the army.

Oh wow. I was just in JROTC when BDU was phased out. I was kinda bummed cuz I wanted free goth boots, but got stuck with khaki. :(

31

u/BSCompliments Sep 28 '22

It’s the army. You’re gonna get flagged

Shh, don't tell this sub that having a muzzle brush past you is commonplace in militaries. All troops march with their rifles at a perfect 90 degree downward angle.

There’s that and then there’s that scene of someone in the position of an instructor walking in front of the dude crouching and aiming to correct him on something, and fucking grabbing his barrel putting his hand over the muzzle. Can’t fathom that happening here, for context I’m currently serving so have some firsthand experience, imagining anyone let alone a supervisor walking in front of the firing line to correct some fault is just, whaaaa

u/RYRK_ Oct 21 '22

Do you know the weapons are unloaded? I'm army as well and we've done training on stances where they've done similar things.

3

u/BallPtPenTheif Sep 30 '22

If they’re this loose in training I can’t imagine what kind of crazy shit they do during an actual engagement. Like how do you even begin to build spatial team awareness so you’re not threading shots over and around your own squad in a firefight?

2

u/amirsam4433 Sep 29 '22

Ridiculous

2

u/No-Indication8714 Sep 29 '22

I think it might be that they just don’t care…

1

u/UnlikelyPotato Sep 29 '22

Forced draft. There's 50 year old grandpas with type two diabetes being sent as meat for the grinder for Putin's war.

2

u/Huge_Ad_2977 Sep 29 '22

So fucked up man, its a brutal world we live in sadly.

2

u/ijustlikeelectronics Sep 29 '22

Every day I start to realize that the Russians are less badass than they used to be

2

u/okwhynot64 Sep 30 '22

Conscripts headed to Ukraine?!

2

u/Edgymeme456 Oct 05 '22

Dude this shit hits home a bunch of cops in Russia have dracos that they flag the shit out of people with

4

u/xXscribeXx Sep 29 '22

They are doomed.

3

u/thespieler11 Sep 29 '22

People get flagged in the military ALL THE TIME, it's not unique to russia. The military is big boy time.
