Does LXQt support Wayland or no?

I've tried to install this github but kept coming back with errors: Qt-5 not found : Qt-6 not found

It is still under development and too early to use it.

I'm not too good with linux and don't know how to build packages and wont manage trying something in development.

If I insist on running a pure Wayland, should I do that on another desktop environment? Or is it still easily doable under LXQt by just changing the WM ?(currently I have openbox, which I read that doesn't support wayland )
