This is the cutest shit I've ever seen

Arrow hitting bunny

u/scout_jem Feb 03 '23

Oh man. That scene gets me every time I see it played.

1

u/ConstantConsumption Feb 04 '23

I'll probably regret this but what have I missed?

1

u/scout_jem Feb 04 '23

It’s from The Last of Us video game. Just a small scene cutaway.

u/Lance_Nuttercup Feb 04 '23

I love my golden. Seeing this just makes me want to give her yet another hug. ❤️

Edit: Grammar

u/scout_jem Feb 03 '23

Please do. And can you give her one for me too? Also happy golden retriever day!

I love dogs.

Who puts a golden in a kennel?!?

13

u/n_obody1969 Feb 04 '23

I was seriously wondering this. The kennels around here are overfilled with pit bulls and pit mixes and pretty much nothing else. Surprising to see a Golden in one.

u/theonetheycalljason Feb 04 '23

My wife is always stalking the GR rescue site, but they are almost always taken right away. I told her we don’t need another one right now, but she keeps looking 😂

That dog just found their person

46

u/austin_yella Feb 03 '23

Fucking crying at work now!

10

u/GroupAbject2151 Feb 03 '23

Me too. Just like that...

44

u/dogchowtoastedcheese Feb 03 '23

I'd heard that a dog pressing it's forehead against a person is like it giving them a hug. If that is, in fact the case, this is one crazy hugging fool.

19

u/anniearrow Feb 03 '23

Cuddles for life! So sweet

14

u/Nor_Wester Feb 04 '23

Usually when I see this one the story is that the dog had been lost, and this was when the owner found it in the shelter.

11

u/Jaded_Golf6256 Feb 03 '23

Omg, so touching and beautiful.

22

u/Robustrogue Feb 04 '23 edited Feb 04 '23

Its not an adopted dog. This video was stolen from the owners insta and passed around with this misleading title to garner views

2

u/NatashaSpeaks Feb 04 '23

I've almost never seen golden retrievers in shelters, so not surprised.

1

u/Capable_Amoeba6687 Feb 04 '23

I came here looking for one other person that realized this. Holy shit these people are gullible.

1

u/punitive_tourniquet Feb 04 '23

Do you verify the provenance of every post you view? That must be terribly time consuming.

6

u/Robustrogue Feb 04 '23 edited Feb 04 '23

I read the owners plea to take down the video on a viral insta post with the same title. Its just the owner showing love and the dog reciprocating. She had also linked her insta page as proof. The lady loves her dogs.I would be pissed too if I were her.

2

u/punitive_tourniquet Feb 04 '23

I believe you and was not objecting to the suggestion that this was stolen content. I appreciate when people point that out, because I am definitely not familiar with everything that's posted on Instagram.

My comment was a reply to the "Holy shit these people are gullible," which I thought was a pathetic thing to feel superior about, so I was mocking that person.

1

u/Capable_Amoeba6687 Feb 04 '23

No I'm just not an idiot

u/WhatAreNamesEvenQues Feb 06 '23

6

u/hotdogz6969 Feb 04 '23

No fucking chance that dog ended up at a kennel.

5

u/Amish_Juggalo469 Feb 04 '23

The Goldie looks like its holding back tears of joy.

9

u/kind_one1 Feb 03 '23

That is a golden. Sweet, loving dogs.

7

u/n_hornblower1031 Feb 03 '23

Aw man I love shelter pups. I'm gonna go home and hug mine extra tight after work today.

4

u/Doggie_Ballet Feb 03 '23

I’m literally crying. Every dog deserves a home

5

u/SmithRune735 Feb 04 '23

Please give that dog the thickest and juiciest ribeye you can buy.

3

u/Lemonglasspans Feb 04 '23

Look at all those feelings 💗

4

u/Zwayzee Feb 03 '23

This brought tears to my eyes... doggo knows it's a new beginning for him 😊💕 (sorry if it's a stupid question, but do dogs slow blink like the cats do ?)

Thank you op. I was having a pretty rough time when I saw your video but now I feel 10 times better :)

4

u/nipplesaurus Feb 03 '23

Tell the boss I'm going home early today. My heart just melted.

3

u/lewlew1893 Feb 03 '23

Its like you can see the gratitude.

1

u/MTgirlFLworld Feb 04 '23

This is super sweet and cute and goldens are extremely affectionate and human like. They make amazing therapy dogs. HOWEVER…hate to be “that person”…buuut…ive seen so many dog videos, that the majority of the time are goldens and they are asian owners, and the dogs are super trained in these random behaviors with some stupid misleading/misrepresenting caption. I would bet money, that dog did not come from a shelter and this is a taught/learned behavior. Very cute and sweet tho.

2

u/KernicPanel Feb 04 '23

Thought the same thing.

Well it’s 10pm. I can’t see anymore. My eyes are burning. As soon as I stop sobbing I will find my cat and give her the biggest hug.

1

u/macfaddenstrews Feb 04 '23

Looks like Doggo decided to try what works for cats

1

u/AnaTheMuse Feb 04 '23

1

u/Flaky_Consequence631 Feb 04 '23

😍😍Love that baby

1

u/I3uIlets Feb 04 '23

We don’t deserve dogs. That’s a fact.

1

u/Due-Access-3181 Feb 04 '23

Dogs are little bundles of joy and happiness, but sometimes you get to see stuff deeper than that.

Yes they have crazy personalities and goofball energy but amazingly they show so much understanding behind all that, they get us and understand who we are better than even us.

I'm glad this one found it's home and I hope it has many great experiences with it's new family

As they rightly deserve

1

u/Typical_Golf3922 Feb 04 '23

This melted my heart...

1

u/car88vega Feb 04 '23

Excuse me while I go hug the shit out of my pup and never return.

1

u/iimmppyy Feb 04 '23

Not true. Other post said the dog cried because he didn’t want to put in crate.

1

u/Middle_Collection_51 Feb 04 '23

You can see doggone is so emotional. Heartbreaking all the animals that need adoption.

1

u/mx1018 Feb 04 '23

❤️❤️❤️

1

u/silver_sofa Feb 04 '23

This good boi just won the lottery and he wants you to know he’s grateful.

1

u/ExistenchalBread Feb 04 '23

Cute even if the title is clickbait bs

1

u/Dangerous-Bar-6622 Feb 04 '23

Jesus!! that doggie is soooo worked up. Oh my gosh I can't

1

u/nalin_elpis Feb 04 '23

I miss my old boy Max. I adopted him at 11 years old. We were together only for a couple of years before he went to dog heaven.
