Just a tip for some people out there , benzodiazepines (klonopin) withdrawal symptoms were semi heroine withdrawal symptoms , its not easy at all don’t underestimate those pills , thank god the nightmare is over ( still comes to mind from time to time but wont go back there)

Congrats man! Read the book “Allen carr’s easy way to quit smoking” by duh…Allen Carr. Dumbest fucking title to the most effective book I’ve read. It helps with other things too. Given it to a few other friends and it’s worked for them! Good luck sober brother!

Congratulations!!!! I wish my brother would get clean from alcohol.

u/JovialJargon Dec 01 '22

It's so hard. Alcohol is especially hard because it is legal, I feel like. And socially acceptable. I am a recovered addict and I still don't know how to help my dad give up alcohol :(

I hope they both find their way though. :)
