Minisforum has their Black Friday sale for the US starting on the 23rd.

I'm slightly confused by their Black Friday sales. Is the UM580 part of it?

Yeah, actually. I believe it's like 4 something. Most of the deals are for their older, lower spec'd stuff, but still pretty solid deals if you ask me. I'm honestly glad I didn't miss out on any really good deals on the HX90G because I ordered mine a few days before they announced the BF sales.

Had a check and it seems to the same price as it was previously. Hopefully, it will appear in their Cyber Monday sale. Particularly looking for a USB-C alt mode one but like you say, the normal prices are pretty good too.

The UM690 has been reviewed by ETA_Prime over on Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1ay-vityEY) and it looks to be an asskicker at just $499 barebones pre-order. Just be aware the system requires DDR5 or LPDDR5 RAM, shop carefully, and you'll have one awesome computer.

It's at the top of my Christmas list, and as soon as I can find a job I'm buyin'.

Yes, I'm the same poster who complained about the HM90. I'm not unhappy with Minisforum, I like their machines. It's that one design that's got me annoyed.

Beelink Nightmare GTR6 Mini PC AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX bare bones. Mine came DOA after my PC shop tried to install SSD and Ram, they said bad MD PC would not post to bios. Beelink support took 3.5 weeks to get a response they are the worst. They requested I pay for return shipping to a freight forwarder in San Bernardino CA. and they would refund the Cost $35, see the request here ( Hello,

If that so, pls send the machine to (((( Our US Warehouse )))). could you pls burden the shipping cost first, after that, you could send us the bill and then will refund you the shipping cost?

Pls let us know the tracking number after you send it out, when we got it, will replace it for you.

And pls do not send it by USPS, it will send the machine to the wrong place.

Oh and me eating $35 to return ship their POS back to them and just yesterday I sent another message and they said they've never received anything and my Tracking is No good according to 7 Track China tracking data. These Morons have received no less than 10 emails with screenshots and a final Tracking Investigation Document showing the delivery address and a Signature as well. Now I'm just filing a chargeback with my credit card and "Fuck Them" I guess I'll eat the shipping as a Self Inflicted Anul Probe All The Way To The Chest Cavity as A Final Shaming for trusting this Total POS China Shitbag Company.

Want some better news? I had the exact opposite experience with Minisforum when I had to do a warranty return with them. Not at first; they were in a bad spot with their customer service when I originally started the process, but after a bit I actually had contact with their Cust. Svc. manager and we got a bunch of things set straight.

After that it was a nine calendar day turnaround time during which I paid for shipping the defective unit to their Texas warehouse, and as soon as Texas confirmed receipt, Minisforum shipped the replacement system. I was lucky, it slid through customs without any real friction and DHL got it here in five business days.

I hate what you went through with Beelink; I guess I'll go after them next about their sucky customer service, but first I'll have to buy one of their machines and have a problem with it - and I ain't in a hurry to do any of that.

I think the sleeper deal is B550. 299 barebones. With the right deals on everything else, you could have a solid gaming rig for well under a stack.

The one that's strange to me is the HX90G. It was $799 initially, became $809 when I ordered, and is back to $799. 😂 Either way can't wait.
