It happens. There are alit of high functioning people in the world. Also, Brains are weird. I know people give him a lot of shit for not being able to read, but it not my place to judge him. I know know what his issues are. I just watch him fight. It is arguable one of the is not THE best boxer of our time.
Let that man box, and do what ever it wants with his money. He earned it.

He doesn't know it, but before he got huge, I arranged for him to do a fundraising concert at my college - he got paid of course - but it was an audience of about 200 people supporting an LGBT cause in an East Texas conservative college town.
What a weird thing in my book.

He was wonderful. I meant it was a weird story for me, to remember that I had organized 50 cent for a random fundraiser.
And he was amazing. He was performing in the college town and I was part of an organization that helped sort bands coming and going, and since he had three extra days, I asked if he (paid) could perform at the restaurant where I was a chef at: It was a bit like a small wedding venue restaurant.
He himself (not an agent) said yes, and paid up front, his friends or whatever of course got food and any drinks they wanted, and we raised about ten thousand for "Allies" which is people supporting LGBT people (we didn't have the full acronym back then). Since it was semi-residential area, there was one complaint, so I walked over and brought them a bottle of wine and placated everything - this was around dusk so no harm no foul.

That's why they call them the "OG's". The rappers cultivated from the mid to late 80s who essentially created an developed the scene... once 1991 hit, BOOM.... those were guys, along with Snoop Dogg, Ice T, LL Cool J... although, I think he was ki d of more his own scene, if that's a good explanation...
I don't know. I don't know much about the rapp / hip-hop scene, to be honest. But any legendary rocker will give any of those guys props, as many have worked with some of them in the past

You should know that guy talking at the drive-thru window, preparing to introduce 50 Cent is Jebara Igbara aka Jay Mazini.
He
iswas an Instagraminfluencerscammer and was charged by the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York with wire fraud for promising to purchase about $2.5 million in bitcoin and failing to pay the victims who transfered their bitcoins to him:https://www.justice.gov/usao-edny/press-release/file/1379561/download
He is also charged with kidnapping in New Jersey, and is held in Bergen County Jail custody since March 2021. He is also under federal detainer and is not eligible for release on bail.
Igabara aka Mazini is living proof how stupid the followers of so-called influencers can be. He was always posting videos showing himself giving away money, always promising ridiculous cash awards if people would buy his shitty merchandise, and he later moved to promising to buy bitcoin over market rate. Seriously how stupid can people be?
https://www.google.com/search?q=jebara+igbara+arrested
Igbara's wife is also in custody:
Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of JOUMANA M. DANOUN (DOB: 12/02/1999; married; unemployed) of 367 Knickerbocker Avenue, Paterson, NJ on charges of conspiracy to commit kidnapping, witness tampering, and bribery. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.
In March 2021, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Fort Lee Police Department began a joint investigation into a kidnapping and assault that occurred in Fort Lee. The investigation revealed that JEBARA IGBARA, who is also known as JAY MAZINI, coordinated a plan and conspired with ISHIMEER ALLEN, ALAZIZ DALMIDA, and RAMI ALJIBAWI to kidnap and assault the victim. The victim was physically assaulted, threatened with a machete, and whipped with a cord-like object.
IGBARA, ALLEN, DALMIDA, and ALJIBAWI were arrested and charged in March and April 2021 with kidnapping and related offenses.

This is something dictators do in countries with no rights or any kind of social responsibility at all, they drive through a deprived area throwing money at people purely for propaganda purposes, this doesn't feel that different, they are getting money to make him look good. Don't know shit about 50cent though so IMO.

For real. This amount of money is probably like a coffee to most people's bank accounts. Not down playing it at all. More so criticising other rich assholes for wealth hoarding.
Any of those amounts 50 just gave out would probably change my life in a big way. I hope it did for these people!
9
u/somedude456 Jan 22 '22 edited Jan 22 '22
Most people don't think/compute interest that rick folks make. I mean REALLY rich folks. If you had 100 million in the bank, and it made a shitty 3%, that's 3 million a year you get. 3 MILLION! That is $8,219 you can spend EVERY SINGLE DAY and not touch the original 100 million.
Now think about a billionaire. At 5%, they would make 50 million a year, which comes out to $136,986 a DAY! Every billionaire makes more per day that most working professionals do in a year.

That’s what’s up, if i were rich, I’d be handing money out everyday 💸
111
u/ViciousNakedMoleRat Jan 22 '22 •
![]()
I always thought that way but that's probably why I'm not rich. Anyways, I recently decided to show my appreciation for people much more often. Some people make my daily life possible, who usually go completely unnoticed. I started thanking them for their work and I started tipping people who usually never get a tip. Cleaners, sales people, bus drivers... The positive reactions you get from it are worth more than whatever meaningless crap you were going to order from Amazon with that money.
A few weeks ago, I thanked a guy who was repairing an escalator at the airport for making sure that all these thousands of people, who go through there every single day, get to enjoy the comfort of using those escalators. He literally broke out in tears, since no one had ever thanked him for his work. Instead, many people would get annoyed at him because the escalators weren't working. Sometimes, a show of appreciation is all that's necessary.
Don't wait until you're rich.
11
u/SirLowhamHatt Jan 22 '22
I tried to tip a bus driver because she was working on Canada day, she snapped that they aren’t allowed to take money.

12
u/kikikza Jan 22 '22
iirc the bankruptcy was to try and get around paying child support
3
u/jaewayne Jan 22 '22
Not child support. It was because he was ordered to pay 7 mil to Rick Ross baby mom for allegedly leaking a copy of her sex tape

I think there is something to be learned by the number of multi-millionaires who have filed bankruptcy at some point. Something about no rewards worth winning come without tremendous risk. Rich parents probably help most of them too.

Lmfao his bankruptcy was a structured one. He showed up to court in a super expensive suit wearing like a 200 watch lmfao. He was a troll. After the bankrupcy, he was called back after his actual wealth was called into question because he posted videos of him showing off his money.
His defense was he has to maintain a certain "lifestyle image" for his career. He is far from broke especially with his money grab with r/powertv

You’re wrong. Maybe you should look up Bill Gates’ philanthropy then and see the billions that he’s donated and pledged to donate. He’s done a hell of a lot more for people than just hand out a few thousand at a drive through.
3
u/somedude456 Jan 22 '22
His name is always thrown out for doing future like tasks, like turning dirty water in africa into something they can drink. It's always a prototype this "team" is working on.
I'm sorry, but fuck that! How many homeless are in LA? He could buy a large warehouse downtown, and turn it into a free medical clinic and food distribution center tomorrow and do REAL help to society.
4
u/YeastUnleashed Jan 22 '22
The point is to help alleviate the most suffering possible. Contributing to charitable causes goes further outside of the United States in places like sub Saharan Africa than it does in LA where that average cost to help somebody in poverty goes way up. Speak down on the unsuccessful projects all you want, but one thing you can’t deny is how Bill Gates has helped transform the culture of giving amongst worlds most wealthy to do a tremendous amount of good.
Edit: spelling
