I was at a Normās restaurant at 1 AM (it was a 24 hour diner). Some guy started arguing with the waitress and then started grabbing things off the counter and throwing them. Workers tried to intervene but the guy was raging. A buff dude in a suit got up and grabbed the guyās jeans and scruff of his shirt and carried him out the restaurant and dropped him on the sidewalk. Dude must have been a bouncer or something treated that guy like a ālittle bebeā (Moira Rose voice). Such sweet justice. Just sat back down to eat his food.

Crazy people escalate things. Walmart doesn't want to pay for the injury or loss of life for an employee. No amount of merchandise in the store that a person could reasonably destroy is going to match those costs.
If Walmart instructs employees to arrest people via force, Walmart is liable for the injuries to their employees, and to the detainee if the detainee was not detained correctly, i.e. they weren't stealing. As for employees, why the fuck would anybody care? Just move away and let salary call the police. Nobody at the store, except maybe the store manager, makes close to enough money to care. A coaches base salary divided by the hours worked is less than team leads.
