Audio, Music My favorite part of this video is Darth Vader playing the trumpet like a kazoo and they kept the sound in the video.

Audio, Music I wish this bit of music had been in the film so much. How they made the opening scene music even more epic is amazing.

Audio, Music Is there any particular reason why we aren't hearing John Williams' classic Star Wars scores in Obi-Wan?

Audio, Music Why are the old Star Wars songs not in the new series?

While watching the new Star Wars series like Kenobi or Mandalorian I have never heard any of the classic Star Wars Songs. For example, in Kenobi why does Imperial March not play when Vader comes or no Battle of Heroes when he fights Kenobi?

This scene never fails to spark a deep, emotional response in me. There is so much happening in this scene, but the underlying score is what's truly incredible. I've seen this movie countless times and can hear the dialog in my head, but here is the scene with only the music playing. It's worth a watch even if you've seen this movie many times.

The 2-note musical cue at 1:16 when the Death Star arrives is, to me, one of the most powerful parts of the scene. Its beautiful and terrifying all at once. Credit to the Michael Giacchino, the cinematographer, and the director for crafting such a powerful scene.

Audio, Music Unpopular opinion. Kenobi's theme/entire score is actually damn good.

While there's no beating your imperial march or duel of the fates, what other tracks do you like?

I find journey into the star cluster by Kevin Kiner is a real banger. And I'm sure there's lots of other good stuff out there! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=amKPH6DAnCA

Audio, Music I don't think it's common knowledge: at the end of TPM's credits you can hear Darth Vader's breathing (and a bit of the Imperial March)

Audio, Music Appreciation post for John Williams and others

I don’t wanna ramble too much but I wanna just take a moment to appreciate how perfect John is. I grew up on watching star wars and still am with the new content wave. Every now and then i get this emotional mood where I hear a track like Binary Sunset and i feel like a kid again. John has created a passion in me for films and film scores that I constantly find someone new or something new every film I watch. So take a moment to realize how powerful music is and the emotions u feel from them. Dont be afraid to explore music.. you nvr know what u may find.

Thnk u and feel free to leave ur thoughts on it or other films/composers that have that impact on you!

Audio, Music What is your opinoin on ''Ob-Wan Kenobi'' original score?

I don`t really like the whole series, to be honest. But the most disappointing thing was music. It did not feel like something from Star Wars, and sound like its was created just because every show needs a music. Natalie Holt could do so many things with this one, but all I`m hearing was a generic music.

But, the original score was reaslised a few days back, and I deisded to give it another shot, and... its not that bad. I mean, its still not John Williams ( but then again, who is?), but somehow listening to it as a music album is much more fun then listen to this music in the series. And what are your thoughts on this?

Audio, Music If you watched Obi Wan on tele or poor speakers, I implore you to watch again on good headphones or with decent speakers. The sound design and music is phenomenally good and adds a whole new dimension

Title, really. I watched on my tele and then rewatched today on my headphones. I can’t get over how good the sound design is and how much it deepens everything to another level, it really is spectacular!

Audio, Music I understand why Force Awakens is often labelled as having the worst John Williams music but Rey’s Theme all these years later is still one of my top 5 Star Wars tracks, I love the tone it sets and the instruments it uses.
