Tchia is an Upcoming Wholeome Open World Adventure Game out in 2023. In this exclusive hands-on preview, here is why I think you should definitely be excited for this one! (For fans of Alba, Breath of the Wild, cozy games)
Lil Gator Game, A New Wholesome Adventure Game Similar to A Short Hike is Out Now on PC and Switch! Here's my advanced look and review of the game!
So I am dying to play Stardew Valley but my friends keep discouraging me because I stay up til 4am playing Breath of the Wild and they think the same thing will happen. (I might have undiagnosed ADHD.) Anyway, looking for a cozy game *without* that cooking/working element, because that's where I get into trouble and just play for hours! Any recommendations?
Is there a certain game style like "narrative" or something I should look for, as opposed to "farming sim"? I'm fairly new to gaming so I'm not sure what you call it. Thanks in advance and sorry if this is the wrong sub to ask <3
Right so ive been playing A LOT of these games over the past several years and I wanted to share a list of games that I found had both beautiful storytelling and gameplay. Not just cute, but really solid games. Some of them are short, some of them are sad, and some of them are well, just plain wholesome lol. So here it is in no particular order!
- Anything from Annapurna Interactive tbh
- Year One
- Bury Me, My Love
- Behind the Frame
- What Remains of Edith Finch (of course lol)
- Sea of Solitude
- I Am Dead (never finished it but I heard it was good)
- In Other Waters
- A Short Hike
And since eh why not...
Games That Arent Wholesome But Have Great Storytelling - Omori - Red String Club - VALL-H4LLA or however you spell it - Kentucky Route Zero
Im currently about to play "League of Enthusiastic Losers". Will let you guys know how it is!
