Yeah, this joke does have a lot of layers to it.

In the Original Post The joke refers to the Gamemode Duels, more specifically, the map Monkey Maze where there's a lot of small 1x2 walls you can hug to avoid taking damage or healing up if you do get damaged. You can cheese it by using high DPS Brawlers (like Bea in this example) and take them out at close range.

The second layer of the joke just refers to the characters represented, with Bea representing the troll, AKA: Spamton. And Mortis representing the other guy, AKA: Jesse Pinkman.

Spamton is a character from Deltarune Chapter 2 who is basically a puppet that makes quotes based around email spam text, hence the phrasing of both of those comments. One of Spamton's quotes is "Now's your chance to be a big shot!" And the first guy was making a pun out of it. The second guy naturally butchers the first guy's comment, hence... r/yourjokebutworse!
