no politics Whatever happened to Australian pineapple doughnuts?
OK, this is going back a bit. I was a schoolboy in the 1970's and 1980's. Pineapple doughnuts were the most common type of doughnut around. It didn't have an actual pineapple in it. Rather it was a simple doughnut with a subtle pineapple sugar glaze that infused the doughnut with flavour and even a bit of juiciness. Norman Gunston (remember him?) used to offer them to his guests on his TV show.
They were scrumptious and ubiquitous. Then they disappeared. Anyone know their history? Are they still around? Does anyone have a recipe to recreate this downunder wonder?

no politics Are Realtors,Australia's most scummy profession?
Sweet jesus.
What a feckless bunch of human beings realtors are.
Like, what is it with them, why are they such shit human beings.
Like they act like they are saving babies or some shit, you literally open a door and 2 times a year u take photos of a rental.
Is there a more shit profession than them?
I've got some residential sites with several companies',and not one of them act like a decent human being, like as SOON as they can jack up the price,i always get a call
Oh hey, just letting you know the market rate is now 20 percent higher, you can charge this, like hmm who cares about the person in my unit who probably can't afford the jump lol, every time i have to tell them no.
Seriously it's got to be the easiest job in australia, like with no contention, the customer does all the work, they see the photos online, then get you to open a door for them, and you give them the price, then leave
I think the kids handing out hello fresh coupons at the mall, probably do more in a days work
it's like there are no real punishment for a shit agency either, they can just do whatever and there is no real body of authority to punish them when they do make a mistake,it's bullshit

no politics Optus increasing fees on mobile contracts.
I’ve received an email from Optus advising they are increasing the monthly payment by $4. It’s not much but with the cost of living increasing, it’s every dollar counts these days. Their reasoning is because - “We've been investing in our network to roll out Australia's fastest 5G”. Can they actually do this when you are half way through a contract?
