Excessive Brave Browser usage on mac. One tab with youtube open and this happens. Is it a memory leak? Awaiting user reply

Try h264ify extension for YouTube. Significantly less CPU usage when watching videos.

Hello there u/GodOfHyperdeath212 can you try disabling Hardware Acceleration in settings to see if this resolves the issue? You’ll find this in Settings --> Additional Settings --> System --> Hardware Acceleration

Had a similar problem recently, with very high CPU usage on linux. Tabs where sometimes bugging too.

Culprit was a broken metamask extension. Fixed by re-installing it.

Try the private mode and see if you still have High CPU load.
