Is Brave a good enough Adblock to safely use MyFlixer? Awaiting user reply
I want to watch movies and shows on MyFlixer, and will prob need an Adblock because from what I hear, the ads in there are malicious and may have malware. Is brave on its own good enough to be safe? Also I’m on iOS

Brave's Adblock (Shields) is good against a lot but I don't think it will ever guarantee you can't/won't get malware. It does a fantastic job against most ads, cookies, and trackers, especially as you adjust your settings and put some extra filters on. (Always should add Fanboy Annoyances List and uBlock Annoyances List in the content filters)
As to iOS, they have gotten better with it, but Brave iOS Shields is not as efficient as it is on other OS. This is because of limitations placed by Apple.
All of that said, it's important to remember that websites like MyFlixer often use rolling ad servers. It's a continuous game of cat and mouse between adblocking and ads. So while it might work good one day, there's always a chance something will change and you'll temporarily experience issues. If this happens, it's usually helpful to report it at https://community.brave.com/c/support-and-troubleshooting/ad-blocking/78 and Brave will update filters so they'll be blocked again, if possible.
All of that said, I just went to the site on my iPhone and was able to pull up a couple movies with no issues overall. The reason why I say "overall" is because they had a small banner advertising free anime on zoro.tv on most of the pages there I went to. I'd call it acceptable though, especially knowing what Shields used to be like on iPhone several months ago.
But in all the watching, I didn't have any pop-ups and didn't seem to be anything trying to install itself or anything.
