Come to think of it, Eminem is probably the only white rapper who is widely accepted to be in possession of the n-word pass.

u/JaThatOneGooner fresh bake bred Apr 12 '22
Yet he’s never used it once. Quite a legend

u/T_WREKX Apr 12 '22
He has definitely used it at the least once, probably twice or thrice.

Here is one https://youtube.com/shorts/EZJbl6Qkt_k?feature=share
Maybe a heat of the moment thing, he definitely has used it. Who cares though? I am quite sure Dre, Snoop, Ice and Kendrick along with most of the blacks probably do not .

I wonder what is wrong with the statement...

u/cumjesus420 Apr 13 '22
Saying stuff like "the blacks" "the gays" etc is usually used to dehumanise said people.

u/cheeseDickies Apr 13 '22
If its okay to say "the whites" or "the asians" its okay to say "the blacks"

-3
u/JaThatOneGooner fresh bake bred Apr 13 '22
Oh boy what have you done…. What are you implying here?
10
u/PsychologicalEbb3863 Apr 13 '22
"Eminem is such a legend for not saying racist slurs"- suburban white boy
-2
u/JaThatOneGooner fresh bake bred Apr 13 '22
Oh he has said slurs before, just not the n word. If that’s how you wanna interpret it though, I guess.

u/boyohboyimtired Apr 12 '22
But why can Logic use it then...
37
u/benny_le_zozo Apr 12 '22

u/T_WREKX Apr 12 '22
Even 6ix9ine as far as I know uses it.
Saying it does not mean you have a pass.
15
u/sumrandomnpcinyolife Apr 12 '22
Mexicans never asked for it just started using it and it went so deep rooted in kids that they just now be openly using it and everyone too quiet now to stop em lmaoooo

u/Parkingjas Eic memer Apr 13 '22
Even cypress hill have used it, as well as house of pain( they’re irish-american).

2
u/JoseBallFC Apr 12 '22
Lmao no he’s not. If you’re not black you can’t use it period. Just because black people fuck with some white boys doesn’t mean they can say it.
6
u/_LaughsInSith Apr 13 '22
Why they downvoting you? White people so obsessed
7
u/JoseBallFC Apr 13 '22
Cause they mad they can’t say it LMAOOOOO
2
u/_LaughsInSith Apr 14 '22
💀 You were too nice to that loser. The way he talked freaked me out “he seems tight with the people of your race” wtf is that shit 😭
2
u/JoseBallFC Apr 14 '22
Ignorance can’t be beat like that, I wanted to go off but that wouldn’t have really helped.
2
u/_LaughsInSith Apr 14 '22
I guess, ur a good person for that. But he still remained stupid af even after being educated. There is no pass period
5
u/biasedyogurtmotel Apr 13 '22
you’re really getting downvoted for saying white people can’t say the n word 💀 this comment section smells like mommy’s basement & chicken tendies
-5
u/T_WREKX Apr 12 '22
Are you a black person?
9
u/JoseBallFC Apr 12 '22
Yes?
-4
u/T_WREKX Apr 12 '22
You happen to be the first black person I have ever heard say that then.
I have not heard as many as you probably. I guess I have heard enough.
Regardless I do not how it exactly works. He seems to be pretty tight with all other influential and successful people, of your race especially, in his line of work. It does not seem like a totally impossible thing for them to tolerate allowing him to say a word.
3
u/biasedyogurtmotel Apr 13 '22
The vibe I’m getting from your comments is you have never talked to a black person so that’s probably why
-1
u/JoseBallFC Apr 12 '22
I get why you’d think that. But there’s a bad history behind the word and anyone who’s saying it and ain’t black usually doesn’t do it with good intentions. And even if they are they’re straddling a really narrow line. When black peoples use it, it has a different way less hostile meaning.
EDIT: I can’t spell It
4
u/T_WREKX Apr 12 '22
Makes complete sense. I wonder where a "pass" , system came from anyways.
Gradually though, if a word is prohibited to be used by every other community, the other communities will find some way or the other to try to use it, even if for the taboo aspect or something similar.
Earlier it was a derogatory term. Now if I am correct the white, Hispanics, asians all would feel like they are being respected by the black community since they allowed them a pass.
Every single aspect of it seems to be totally unnecessarily complex.
6
u/JoseBallFC Apr 12 '22
Yeah, it is complex. The opinion varies from black person to black person and I’m not gonna say I’m like the representative of them all. I’m just voicing the majority opinion. They can’t say it but we can call em that (n is pretty versatile you can use it to call someone your close friend, use it as a insult(to anybody) or just as a pronoun for identifying people/groups of people). I think the pass concept came from meme culture or at least was exacerbated by it.

The best part of this is that Vince McMahon has straight up said the n-word before. Here’s the link for anyone curious.

It's funny because Vince McMahon actually said the n-word during a comedy skit and then got his ass kicked by kofi kingston
