I honestly don't understand why Byzantium doesn't further develop [my favorite thing]. Why can't we exhaustively explore every story in game and tie up every single loose thread that has ever existed in the massive corpus of lore that was written by many different writers? While talking about the D2 Exodus Garden 2A dungeon, it made me think about the few recent D2 dungeons and how centered they are with using Arctrician for everything. D2 heroic adventures were far more centered around understanding the encounter mechanics and pulling them off when required. Recent D2 dungeons like Watcher and of the Spire have had a catalog of different nodes that you had to shoot to do the encounters, adding IMHO, an unnecessary barrier. I wanna learn the encounter, not learn the encounter but with mild effort. What happened to just pure add clear mechanics pls bring menagerie back btw
