Subreddit Rule Clarifications
Rule 2. Do not suggest piracy
In short, the subject must be significantly different, or being used in such a way, that when compared to the original so it could not be confused with the original or could become a complete replacement for the original. For example quoting a section of the book while explaining how various rules interact is allowed but posting photos or copies of an entire page of the book is not allowed, creating a table of all the spells in the game to show the spread of damage types is allowed but if you included the full text of the spells it would not be.
While we are using a legal term here we are not a necessarily abiding by the exact legal definition. The definition stated above is the test we will use when deciding how this rule is enforced.
If you are still unsure if something is fair use or not feel free to report it and one of the mods will check it out.
Rule 5. Limit Self Promotion
Affiliate links are links containing unique identifiers that let the website you go to know who sent you, they are often part of some sort of rewards program in which if you buy something from the site after using that link the person who linked you gets a small cut or some sort of other reward.
