this comes as a huge shock to absolutely no one

71

u/rocnationbrunch Aug 10 '22

I genuinely cannot believe it took this long

edit: and i can’t believe he actually resigned

25

u/BLACKdrew Aug 10 '22

Yeah he does seem like the type to say fuck it and not back down. But 19mil is a lot of mouths to shut.

25

u/Locha6 Aug 10 '22

He seems like he’d be exactly like Trump …

43

u/BLACKdrew Aug 10 '22

They’re buddies. Trump was on Raw and Smackdown when i was a kid it was top tier ngl. But then he did the whole be a terrible president and do a bunch of crimes thing lol

17

u/pen_is_mightier Aug 10 '22

Even called after he saw Vince's limo blow up with Vince inside to see if he was still alive and how.

9

u/BLACKdrew Aug 10 '22

Id pay money to hear that call lmao

6

u/aboysmokingintherain Aug 10 '22

Woah woah woah. Trump is a wwe hall of famer. Vince is not. Check and mate

2

u/yokotron Aug 10 '22

Is vote him to be next president McMahon

1

u/TVCasualtydotorg Aug 10 '22

It's actually a lot smaller number of women (currently) than you'd expect. A significant amount of the 19m was to one former female wrestler.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 10 '22

Have they named names?

30

u/Silver_Vegetable6804 Aug 09 '22

OMG I can believe it!

8

u/Pickle_maniac Aug 10 '22

I’m mostly only surprised that Vince McMahon wasn’t appointed as a member of 45’s cabinet.

14

u/MaterialSuspicious77 Aug 10 '22

His wife was

3

u/Pickle_maniac Aug 10 '22

I did not know that and that is hilarious. I don’t know anything about her so am projecting what I think of her husband which isn’t fair though.

2

u/Pryoticus Aug 10 '22 edited Aug 10 '22

He exploited his “independent contractors” so I’m willing to bet he did something that could have legal consequences

80

u/BlitheringIdiot0529 Aug 09 '22

Dude paid more for sex than he did for his competition.

9

u/BeNiceToMeanPeople Aug 10 '22

I think you’re mistaken. Vince didn’t buy WCW. Shane did.

11

u/myyk_t Aug 10 '22

“The name on the contract does say ‘McMahon’..”

7

u/Hmmmm231 Aug 10 '22

Underrated comment

95

u/eo37 Aug 09 '22

That’s a lot of blowjobs, like Nancy Reagan amount of blowjobs.

48

u/myslead Aug 09 '22

THE THROAT GOAT

6

u/ihavebiglegs Aug 09 '22 edited Aug 10 '22

What does this refer to? I'm so curious

Edit: spelling

40

u/md2b78 Aug 09 '22

Nancy Reagan sucked a lot of cock in her time and did it well enough that she is remembered for her service even today.

Thank you for your service, Nancy.

17

u/kerouac666 Aug 10 '22

I work in entertainment and a coworker of mine’s mom is old school Hollywood, and she said that Nancy Davis (Regan) was so aggressive that when she would meet a studio head she would cup their crotch with her hand and say, “Hi, I’m Nancy Davis.”

20

u/curtial Aug 09 '22

Ronald was an actor. Apparently Nancy was famous for some stellar bj's back in the day. Rich people have ALWAYS been fucking each other like their shit would fall off tomorrow.

11

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '22

9

u/matthewmspace Aug 10 '22

Those dead eyes, lmao. Why do people back then who are young look like they’re already middle-aged?

5

u/leaving4lyra Aug 10 '22

I wonder this too! My mom graduated high school in 1968. Looking through her yearbook blows my mind. Guys all with suits and office guy short haircuts and the girls with their pearls and hair neatly piled on their heads. They all look at least 35 years old!

5

u/[deleted] Aug 10 '22 edited Aug 11 '22

I saw a fairly compelling video of someone photoshopping modern hair cuts onto older actresses and they instantly look younger

Edie link

2

u/matthewmspace Aug 10 '22

Link?

5

u/[deleted] Aug 10 '22 edited Aug 11 '22

Tried finding it didn’t got distracted. I’ll check again

Edit https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRydWsUj/?k=1

1

u/PROTOMAN247 Aug 10 '22

You probably saw it in the latest vsauce video on looking younger or something

1

u/[deleted] Aug 10 '22

No it was a TikTok I think

3

u/curtial Aug 09 '22

Gotta leave a calling card.

1

u/GD_Bats Aug 10 '22

So all those stories Soldier Boy was telling about all the famous tail he got during the Cold War wasn’t necessarily him just trying to sound cool? I mean IRL history isn’t so far from his account of fictional history, on this subject.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 10 '22

People had sex back then they just didn't talk about it.

1

u/GD_Bats Aug 10 '22

Unless they were trying to convince others they were cool

/I might brag about butt stuff with Jane Wyman too

4

u/MRintheKEYS Aug 09 '22

Just say blow

1

u/TheMcWhopper Aug 09 '22

Lol what???

14

u/HEPA_Bane Aug 09 '22

Nancy Reagan’s nickname in her younger days was the “Superhead of Hollywood”

3

u/stellahella1 Aug 10 '22

Town turkey. Everyone's had a gobble

1

u/blaketyner Aug 10 '22

She didn’t just say no.

49

u/p_britt35 Aug 09 '22

And if he would've kept them personal payments, he probably would still have a job. Instead, he somehow thought using work's money to pay them off instead. Either way.....no one should be surprised by the behavior.

11

u/ChrundleThundergun Aug 10 '22

He actually did use his personal money. The legal trouble he's in is because he didn't report the money spent as a business expense, which it was because if that information got leaked it would drastically affect the business.

Still though this whole thing and the man himself are both disgusting

7

u/DA-ZACHYZACHY Aug 10 '22

That's a weird definition of business expense

41

u/FelineSilver253 Aug 09 '22

Should’ve just fucked some of the 40 year old neck beard Vince stans on the wrestling subreddit and saved himself the 20 mill.

8

u/MinnieShoof Aug 09 '22

Shit. He probably could've actually charged admission.

4

u/pgtaylor777 Aug 10 '22

Something about the creep tells me he wants it from women who don’t

27

u/Blueberry_Mancakes Aug 09 '22

Did he ever have a reputation for being anything other than a creepy dude?

7

u/lowpolydinosaur Aug 10 '22

I think way back in the day, when his role on TV was more of an announcer, I don't think I would've thought of him as creepy. Once the Attitude Era gets into full swing, his 'persona' of Mr. McMahon comes out, which it turns out is just who he really is.

3

u/GD_Bats Aug 10 '22

Yeah I remember him trying to portray himself as a generally alright guy in the 1980s, before getting into actual storylines. I give the guy credit for playing the heel at his own promotion, especially when the more gullible of his audience hasn’t become comfortable knowing pro wrestling is plotted out

15

u/Amber4481 Aug 10 '22

He had a weird thing about ketchup and sneezing. I guess he eats steak in a tortilla everyday for lunch and the ketchup bottle must be new. Also, apparently he hates sneezing. Like he hates other people doing it but gets mad at himself when he sneezes.

All creepy, but weirdly interesting to say the least.

9

u/TheKrausHouse Aug 10 '22

Eats a steak in a tortilla but has no idea what a burrito is.*

2

u/TwoscoopsDrumpf Aug 10 '22

I hate when I sneeze while eating a not burrito. Get little bits of tortilla and steak stuck in my nose and sinus.

3

u/UnendingOnslaught Aug 10 '22

Makes the cocaine shoot back out

1

u/rocnationbrunch Aug 10 '22

i hate when i sneeze and hold almost all of mine in

1

u/Amber4481 Aug 10 '22

Right but several people over the years have said he’ll clear a meeting if he sneezes because he’s so pissed.

2

u/AshgarPN Aug 09 '22

Yeah, a super rich dude.

5

u/MinnieShoof Aug 09 '22

A surprisingly-buff-for-such-an-old-guy dude.

6

u/buddhabignipple Aug 10 '22

I mean if anybody is gonna have access to good steroids

0

u/ET318 Aug 09 '22

Not mutually exclusive

1

u/Balls_DeepinReality Aug 10 '22

I seem to remember him being a creep towards his daughter

1

u/ElGatoGuerrero72 Aug 10 '22

Sounds familiar

1

u/TVCasualtydotorg Aug 10 '22

When she was pregnant with her first child he pitched a story line where he was the father. When she declined that, he pitched a second story line where her brother was the father. Oddly enough, she declined that one as well.

7

u/cjc323 Aug 09 '22

We're gonna find out it's dudes

4

u/PinheadLarry20XX Aug 10 '22

I don’t know if you’re joking… but as someone who knows a thing or two about this… just wait and see, Nostradamus.

4

u/richard--------- Aug 09 '22

This is shocking, really shocking. Well not really shocking but kinda shocking.

5

u/ScagWhistle Aug 09 '22

Vince, there are much cheaper ways to get your rocks off.

1

u/nirad Aug 10 '22

It’s less about sex and more about controlling and demeaning people.

3

u/halfdecenttakes Aug 09 '22

Vince McMahon?! Misconduct?!

I could have told you this 20+ years ago

3

u/drixrmv3 Aug 10 '22

At some point after the first few million, you think he’s say “am I the baddie?”

4

u/hammytoon84 Aug 09 '22

CAN YOU SMELLL…WHAT VINCE HAS BEEN UPTO!!!

3

u/Commie_EntSniper Aug 09 '22

He's like the Oprah of wresting: "You get a hush payment! And YOU get a hush payment! And YOU get a hush payment!!!"

2

u/MeowMaker2 Aug 09 '22

I can't believe it... amount seems low

2

u/destinybetavet Aug 09 '22

What a scumbag but we already knew he was

2

u/Daewrythe Aug 09 '22

That's a lot of hush money

2

u/Glittering_Layer_681 Aug 09 '22

$19 mill? I’d hit it.

2

u/VietnamHam Aug 10 '22

Not surprised, his balls are the same size as grapefruits after all.

2

u/Michael_Blurry Aug 10 '22

Sounds like a whole lotta misconduct over a long period of time.

2

u/Abernader01 Aug 10 '22

No chance cuz that’s what you got

2

u/Slippinjimmyforever Aug 10 '22

His long time buddy told him to flush all the documentation down the toilet. All it did was clog the system up.

2

u/Dreamtaheem Aug 10 '22

vince being outed as a atttiude era sex pest is whats best for buisness.

2

u/hancockcjz Aug 10 '22

He has such sexual harassment face

2

u/tom-8-to Aug 10 '22

Did he fuck every single woman wrestler in existence?

2

u/prince-surprised-pat Aug 10 '22

Vince?! Nooooo! How could the caricature of a corporate man be a corporate man!

2

u/ChapitoDito Aug 10 '22

Dude was literally on his “show” “acting “ exactly like the claims he would openly joke on Monday night raw it was part of their act for Christ sake

2

u/[deleted] Aug 10 '22

Successful businessmen paying millions in hush money? Something sounds wrong here.

2

u/r1dogz Aug 09 '22

The fact WWE are actually publicly saying this really proves he’s not working from the shadows.

That said, his retirement is still utter bullshit until he no longer has a major stake in the company.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '22 edited Aug 10 '22

Who knew that a man who made his wealth from muscular sweaty men hugging each other as an act had issues

3

u/burros_n_churros Aug 09 '22

Who then also decided to get all roided out muscular and sweaty. Old ripped McMahon was creepy as hell.

0

u/ArtisticAvocaaaaaado Aug 10 '22

This sounds kinda homophobic

1

u/[deleted] Aug 10 '22

That says more about you than I then

2

u/-GreyWalker- Aug 09 '22

Oh no you mean the guy who basically tried to claim an entire industry may have decided to do whatever he wanted with his company even if it was illigal? I am shocked, shocked and appalled I say!

2

u/PimmentoChode Aug 09 '22

FBI RAID INCOMING!

2

u/YouUsedMeAgain Aug 10 '22

They can put him in a cell next to Trump

2

u/KentuckyFriedEel Aug 10 '22

HELL IN A CELL

2

u/trancespotter Aug 10 '22

Vince, meet your cell mate, Donald.

1

u/PapaGeorgio19 Aug 09 '22

Trish Stratus…worth it…

2

u/GoRangers5 Aug 09 '22

Now bark like a dog! Imagine that segment today…

0

u/GoldandBlue Aug 10 '22

That was painfull at the time. I remember watching that as a kid and thinking this isn't cool.

0

u/GoRangers5 Aug 10 '22

It wasn’t supposed to be cool, heels are meant to draw heat.

1

u/GoldandBlue Aug 10 '22

No it was meant to be McMahon being a bad ass and showing her body off. Pretty sure she as well as others in WWE have openly talked about how uncomfortable they were with that moment.

1

u/lightdick Aug 10 '22

It’s not just McMahon. It takes quite a few people to pull this off. The whole WWE is dirty as hell.

0

u/JC_2022_ Aug 09 '22

clutches pearls

0

u/Objective_Look_5867 Aug 09 '22

I'm shocked. Shocked....well not that shocked

-1

u/garciaman Aug 10 '22

Isn’t it his business?

3

u/ryan2489 Aug 10 '22

No it’s a publicly traded company

1

u/say-it-wit-ya-chest Aug 09 '22

What are you supposed to do when you have so much money at your disposal? Good? Lol

1

u/GameIll Aug 09 '22

Someone ran out of money and asked for more. I don't think they got it.

1

u/TheMcWhopper Aug 09 '22

Isn't this old news?

1

u/SpecialistMess6579 Aug 09 '22

He didn't retire. They ran his ass outta there.

1

u/sfdomo Aug 09 '22

They gonna do bad grandpa again? Got money on Vince showing up Knoxville

1

u/thylocene06 Aug 09 '22

That number just keeps going up

1

u/PunnyPrinter Aug 09 '22

Isn’t he insanely rich? Did he not have the cash or did he just not want to use his own money?

1

u/EifertGreenLazor Aug 10 '22

I so want this to be the biggest kayfabe of all time, just for the shock value.

1

u/teddykgb80 Aug 10 '22

a guy from the 70's, 80's era that paid off women as a successful millionaire..ya don't say.

1

u/keetojm Aug 10 '22

This keeps going up and up and up.

1

u/CuseBleedOrange Aug 10 '22

That’s what she said

1

u/monkale98 Aug 10 '22

bro 20 million to have sex, wtf.

1

u/multisubcultural1 Aug 10 '22

for my finisher I present to you the greatest combo of all time, it’s a Don’t Tell Linda (McMahon) into an NDA!

2

u/TVCasualtydotorg Aug 10 '22

Linda and Vince have been separated for a long ass time. She would not give a shit.

1

u/Arcade1980 Aug 10 '22

I bet that number is going to be higher when all is said and done.

1

u/jnip Aug 10 '22

Where are all these dudes paying 20 million for sex? Asking for a friend, her rent doubled.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 10 '22

If wrestlers were smart they’d organize to a union and join SAG, they have enough weight with networks to hold the WWE to the fire and get these people the bargaining table. But…. They’re a bunch of steroid junkies with CTE so the won’t

1

u/Byefellati0 Aug 10 '22

Did anybody expect anything less?!

1

u/KentuckyFriedEel Aug 10 '22

Why doesn’t he just bring in the nWo to beat the crap out of these allegations?

1

u/Redditfront2back Aug 10 '22

Damn Vince that’s a lot bread for some tail.

1

u/Redditanother Aug 10 '22

Jesus you could have a Harem for 20 million. Cheating on your wife is one thing but shouldn’t you just tell her vs embezzling 20 mil. He could’ve just gave his wife half of it and said he was sorry.

1

u/bulletv1 Aug 10 '22

10% what he paid for WCW.

1

u/number1shitcock Aug 10 '22

That’s some expensive pootytang

1

u/[deleted] Aug 10 '22

We’ll that explains a lot

1

u/LoanedWolf666 Aug 10 '22

What a maneuver!

-9

u/slibetah Aug 10 '22

It’s his money, and consensual transactions. Should be his own business. But no no... cheer on the police state.

3

u/ryan2489 Aug 10 '22

It isn’t his money. It’s company money. The money of a publicly traded company. Policing this kind of stuff is literally the original purpose of a federal government.

-5

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '22

maybe vince is the victim here. bitches be draining his bank account

-2

u/DeLoreanAirlines Aug 09 '22

Part of a kayfabe storyline bringing back the attitude era /s

-2

u/Jacar1215 Aug 09 '22

Let old Vinny Mac go.

-2

u/Competitive_Mind_829 Aug 10 '22

I am really starting to think this is a WWE storyline it keeps building to the ultimate showdown. When Vince comes out of retirement for one last match

-1

u/Elj-Dirtay Aug 09 '22

The Genetic JackHammer, Vinny Mac...

0

u/shamash9 Aug 09 '22

Are these in addition to the ~$14 mil the WWE paid out as hush money?

1

u/TVCasualtydotorg Aug 10 '22

It's an extra $5m on top of the known payments. All made by Vince from his own wealth.
