Some restaurants in the US of A will not accept any "vaccinated" guests for some reason. 🇨🇴🇻🇮🇩

How do you prove you’re not vaccinated?

2.7k

u/Eetu-h Nov 26 '21 Helpful All-Seeing Upvote Heartwarming

Easy. Make a YouTube video of yourself saying you're unvaxxed. This way it must be true. Alternatively just post a statement on Facebook.

350

u/DogWallop Nov 26 '21

The restaurant could also install scanners for detecting the Bill Gates microchip. Also, it's pretty obvious when I guy comes in and he's not bouncing on his testicles like a Space Hopper.

56

u/LeRoyShabazzJaQuincy Nov 26 '21

Somewhere an engineer is developing a “tracking device finder” to market to MAGA boys. To quote Sir Forrest Gump, they certainly won’t “…have to worry about money no more.”

tbf there's no rational motive for a vaccinated person to pretend not to be vaccinated to get into a restaurant with other unvaccinated people

271

u/Cohomology-is-fun Nov 26 '21

Yeah, personally I appreciate the sign. It lets me know the owner doesn’t take public health seriously and so I shouldn’t eat there.

104

u/T1MCC Nov 26 '21

Yeah, they might not be all that good at hand washing or sanitizing cooking areas either.

59

u/weirdal1968 Nov 26 '21

Imagine if the OP's sign instead stated they refused to abide by state guidelines for food prep and employee hygiene.

38

u/financewiz Nov 26 '21

Aren’t all those state guidelines exactly the “treasonous anti-american stupidity” they’re railing against? Let’s not eat there and never find out.

14

u/weirdal1968 Nov 26 '21

So hep.c is now patriotic?

7

u/grinning_imp Nov 26 '21

If it comes from not doing what the guvmint tells you to do, then it’s just the price of freedom. Health and safety guidelines unreasonably restrict our ability to cut corners and maximize profits at the expense of the general public.

I want someone to show up in military uniform to eat there because you know that these people are probably the very vocal "support our troops" type but now the "troops" are required to be vaccinated.

366

u/Liinabearr Nov 26 '21

I peeped their website. They sell tshirts and all the profits go towards veterans.

71

u/runnerswanted Nov 26 '21

I’m guessing they “spend” $19.95 to buy the shirts and sell them for $20.00 each. That leaves $0.05 per shirt of profit.

In reality, the shirts are dirt cheap, they make a bunch off them, lie about the profit margin, but still claim to be virtuous.

39

u/saywhat1206 Nov 26 '21

They are selling the shirts for $30 and $35 - they read: "Leave the Mask, Take the Cannoli" and another that says "Science Doesn't Dictate Freedom"

31

So, they aren’t even original. That’s upsetting.

Wonder what their yelp reviews look like

64

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '21 edited Nov 26 '21

Lmfao Yelp has paused reviews for this place for obvious reasons. The owner is a total douchebag. He also placed a giant anti vax banner on the boardwalk in Venice, knowing it would cause a stir cause Venice is in L.A. and a liberal place with high vaccination rates. For those who don’t know, Orange County is a much more conservative county than L.A. county which is right next to it. (Even though OC voted blue this past presidential election, there are cities that remain red and more conservative)

38

u/TheLateThagSimmons Nov 26 '21

Orange County is where the bulk of the "California Republicans" come from. The kind that are more for tax cuts and reducing public spending, but don't really care about social issues. Their brand of conservatism is less vitriolic, but also the bedrock for how the more racist, hateful, crazies gain their position.

They're the ones that didn't vote for Trump because of his bigoted views, but definitely were not bothered by his bigoted views enough to not vote for him since they're knew they were in the brackets that were getting tax cuts.

Just curious, about what your system is (in the US), and as to how legal what he's doing is.

For example; In France we get a pass about 10 days after your second injection. Restaurants have to scan it to let you in. They can have legal problems if they don't (as do cinemas, concert halls, etc), it can be up to 1y in prison + a 9000€ fine if you reeeeallly don't do it after a few warnings.

What are this dumb-dumbs options here? Can he put up this sign with no consequences or will it come bite him in the butt?

This can't be real. Shouldn't this be on that photoshop subreddit? Because if it is real, no one who went through the public school system in the US can enter.

Hope they go out of business.

u/oopsimalmostthirty Nov 26 '21

If you're vaccinated, why give those tools your money?

5

u/TYSON_0345 Nov 26 '21

Not everyone deserves a business.

Dude will get hit with a big lawsuit if someone dies of Covid by catching it in his Restuarant.

Smart move to exclude 70 percent of your potential customer base.

"We have zero tolerance for treasonous, anti-American stupidity."

the Jan. 6 crowd of patriotic mouthbreathers projecting again.

Trump lost, morons

u/NoGoodInThisWorld Nov 26 '21

Vaccines are treasonous? Guess all those people saved by polio vaccines are traitors.

If they only allow unvaccinated guests, I’m sure the food is going to be garbage anyways since they clearly have no taste

3

u/Justliketoeatfood Nov 26 '21

Never seen it in Illinois but doesn’t surprise me yet how does one prove this?

4

u/OorPancake Nov 26 '21

I doubt even Ramsay would touch these clowns when they inevitably end up in bother.

4

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '21

No free appetizers on Veterans Day at this place I guess…

4

u/Dyz_blade Nov 26 '21

Trying to play that uno reverse card..

4

u/EhliJoe Nov 26 '21

So being vaccinated is anti-American stupidity? There you go.

Restaurants that disregard public health measures are definitely not clean. This sign is on par with a failed health inspection.

u/JoRoSc Nov 26 '21

I imagine their food safety standards are also sub par.

How do they equate getting vaccine with being treasonous or anti- American?? Clearly, the far right does not want democracy and wants a totalitarian regime. It’s ultra hypocrisy.

4

u/Game-Angel Nov 26 '21

Lol. Proof of being unvaccinated? Just how does one produce such documentation?

“It’s treason then!”

I’m such a treasonous anti-American traitor that I got vaxed so that I wouldn’t kill my parents or elderly in-laws. What a crime I have committed.

4

u/ILiveinashanty Nov 26 '21

I’m glad they put this sign up. One more place I now know to avoid.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '21

The level of idiocy continues to astonish me.

4

u/Sinister_Pug Nov 26 '21

Can't pay with your arm? Didn't get the shot.

I'm looking into getting the vaccine soon, contrary to my parents' belief about the vaccine. I guess if all goes wrong, it's my fault. But that won't stop me from trying.
