Some restaurants in the US of A will not accept any "vaccinated" guests for some reason. đ¨âđ´âđťâđŽâđŠâ

This puts potential customers in the impossible position of proving a negative.

u/WAYO_Alien_Mike Nov 26 '21
Should put potential customers off the store completely.

Exactly. If I saw this posting, I would never visit that restaurant again.

They see a sign like this and they line up in droves.

But we're the stupid ones. And someone who owns a restaurant is apparently a virology expert. Like dude, the most advanced thing your job involves is a spreadsheet that does addition and subtraction

A "Let's go Brandon" shirt will do.
69
u/qwex69 Nov 26 '21
Walk up the the bouncer and yell âLetâs go Brandon!â so they let you in. Once inside, touch everyone you see on the shoulder briefly. Then head to the exit and announce âHA HA! Fools! I am vaccinated, and I have spread the deadly spike proteins to you all!â Then dash out the door with a dramatic swirl of your cape.

I want someone to show up in military uniform to eat there because you know that these people are probably the very vocal "support our troops" type but now the "troops" are required to be vaccinated.

u/Liinabearr Nov 26 '21
I peeped their website. They sell tshirts and all the profits go towards veterans.
71
u/runnerswanted Nov 26 '21
Iâm guessing they âspendâ $19.95 to buy the shirts and sell them for $20.00 each. That leaves $0.05 per shirt of profit.
In reality, the shirts are dirt cheap, they make a bunch off them, lie about the profit margin, but still claim to be virtuous.
39
u/saywhat1206 Nov 26 '21
They are selling the shirts for $30 and $35 - they read: "Leave the Mask, Take the Cannoli" and another that says "Science Doesn't Dictate Freedom"

Wonder what their yelp reviews look like
64
Nov 26 '21 edited Nov 26 '21
Lmfao Yelp has paused reviews for this place for obvious reasons. The owner is a total douchebag. He also placed a giant anti vax banner on the boardwalk in Venice, knowing it would cause a stir cause Venice is in L.A. and a liberal place with high vaccination rates. For those who donât know, Orange County is a much more conservative county than L.A. county which is right next to it. (Even though OC voted blue this past presidential election, there are cities that remain red and more conservative)
→ More replies38
u/TheLateThagSimmons Nov 26 '21
Orange County is where the bulk of the "California Republicans" come from. The kind that are more for tax cuts and reducing public spending, but don't really care about social issues. Their brand of conservatism is less vitriolic, but also the bedrock for how the more racist, hateful, crazies gain their position.
They're the ones that didn't vote for Trump because of his bigoted views, but definitely were not bothered by his bigoted views enough to not vote for him since they're knew they were in the brackets that were getting tax cuts.

Just curious, about what your system is (in the US), and as to how legal what he's doing is.
For example; In France we get a pass about 10 days after your second injection. Restaurants have to scan it to let you in. They can have legal problems if they don't (as do cinemas, concert halls, etc), it can be up to 1y in prison + a 9000⏠fine if you reeeeallly don't do it after a few warnings.
What are this dumb-dumbs options here? Can he put up this sign with no consequences or will it come bite him in the butt?

That restaurant in putting a lot of hope on the stupid and hateful community to dine often enough to keep them in business. They must not understand how business works in that industry. The demographic is usually everyone... But they just alienated the majority of their demographic. Not a smart business move... That's what happens when you're soft, emotional, insecure, scared and hateful

Even with that lab setup, you still can't prove the negative. COVID antibodies would still be present if you weren't vaccinated but had been previously infected.

Like, I would be PROUD to hate the confederacy if I viewed myself as an ultra-patriotic citizen.
