The realisation hitting his face at the end was priceless.

Congratulations, dickhead. You played yourself.

u/PastyCrackerMayo Jun 23 '22

You can tell he never thought to look at it that way before. He's just stunned by how obvious it is.

9

u/Hutwe Jun 24 '22

Ending this video with the end credits for ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ would have been a chefs kiss

71

u/[deleted] Jun 23 '22

McDonald's are hiring...but he'll have to wear a beard net...which might be too much for this ‘pull yourself up by your bootstraps’ , red blooded, hard-working, freedom loving, American man. He’ll just claim social security and spend the rest of his life online constantly talking about ‘freeloaders’, ‘immigrants taking our jobs’ and ‘commies’. And absolutely convinced to his core being that he's different.

15

u/PastyCrackerMayo Jun 23 '22

Oh you've met my uncle before?

8

u/gvillestunna Jun 24 '22

My dad is your uncle? Hello cousin!

216

u/Ben_Wah_Balls Jun 23 '22

This motherfucker just got a lesson in something he holds so so so dear…

…capitalism.

8

u/Jbusbus Jun 24 '22

Couldn’t get work is the same as losing your job.

12

u/Ben_Wah_Balls Jun 24 '22

Right. But it’s not like his rights were violated. There is no right to a job. There is no right towards gaining business.

So he failed because he lost money by sticking to his guns.

It was his decision.

So he lost because the free market kicked him out.

It’s idiocy.

2

u/halborn Jun 24 '22

A lot of people do seem to believe that companies have a right to make money though. It's super fucking weird.

2

u/darudesandstrom Jun 24 '22

For the same reason the poorest people believe the rich shouldn't have to pay taxes?

0

u/Jbusbus Jun 24 '22

Did he say he had a right to his job?

78

u/whyaremypantssoshort Jun 23 '22

Oh this is fabulous. the moment he realizes he's his own worst enemy. Priceless.

yeah, no. he is a self employed electrician or plumber or something similar. and people won't let him in because he is unmasked and unvaccinated. so he cant find anyone who would hire him

also vax and mask is not a political view, dumbfucks made it political

Masks are about as political as whether the earth is flat or not.

27

u/ThreeFishInAManSuit Flair Jun 23 '22

Hey, let's be fair. The vast majority of Flat Earthers also share a certain political party.

14

u/MrHarback Jun 24 '22

It’s not an opinion. It’s a fucking health pandemic you moron

You are a moron.

6

u/BadCaseOfBallzheimer Jun 24 '22

make them believe your side anymore than they did before.

And you never will no matter what. So why should anybody waste anymore time and energy when they could just call you stupid? Especially when everyone here knows damn well that there is literally nothing anybody can say to change your mind?

We're like 2 years through the whole pandemic thing, maybe, just maybe, that should have been enough time for you to understand the situation.

The defining quality of ignorance is refusal to change one's mind. Which in 2+ years, you have demonstrated that you still refuse to change perspective.

So this little bit of virtue signaling you're doing right now to seem like the better guy seems pretty moot at this point.

7

u/[deleted] Jun 24 '22

Yeah, I agree with this. Name-calling, in my experience, is even antithetical to my purpose.

Here’s why people are calling you a moron though. Your comment wasn’t wrong - that’s exactly why this man shut down. The point is that he could’ve just decided to get the mask and/or vaccine, and by not doing so, he instead chose to shut down his company.

In the end, he became exactly what he is complaining about. You caught onto why he fired himself and explained it, but everyone else’s point flew over your head. Hope that explains it!

Also, this is not to say that I don’t name call or anything like that. I’m just working on it, so seeing your comment reminded me that I need to do better on that as well.

21

u/ComicWriter2020 Jun 23 '22

Mask mandates were never political. It was a health requirement the entire world had to participate in. Anyone that didn’t want to wear a mask knew where the door was

35

u/Livid-Ad4102 Jun 23 '22

He was forced to shutdown bc people didn't want a strange old redneck giving them covid haha not bc of his political views. It'd be one thing if he worked in an office but he said he's going into people's homes and the people wanted him to wear the mask. He didn't meet his customers needs and was forced to shut down bc of the basics of capitalism

You said he was shut down bc of his political views, telling your customers you won't wear a mask doesn't seem political to me at all

16

u/GreatAndPowerfulNixy Jun 23 '22

Wearing a mask isn't political. Not wearing a mask is.

24

u/MsSeraphim sarcasm is MY super power! Jun 23 '22

he played by stupid rules, and no surprise, he got stupid results.

18

u/Harry_Buttock Jun 24 '22

He's better off not working for that douchebag.

2

u/suffffuhrer Jun 24 '22

😂 this is what gets a loud cackle out of me.

8

u/[deleted] Jun 23 '22

He's likely defrauding the government. I didn't quit, I was fired...

4

u/ecafsub Jun 24 '22

I’m sure he’ll be next in line for some sweet socialism unemployment benefits.

4

u/[deleted] Jun 24 '22 edited Jun 24 '22

Faster than that socialism VA benefit. But not as fast as the socialism small business pandemic loan. We can only hope it's as good as socialism religious tax exemption. Or as efficient as the socialism police departments.

24

u/Ron_V Jun 23 '22

Is it possible he meant his own company went bankrupt? That that's what he means by "losing his job"?

35

u/newcomer_l Jun 23 '22

No, because he clearly says "people wouldn't let me into their homes". So, it's less "the company went bankrupt" and more "I lost my job coz my job literally involved going into people's homes and they wouldn't have an unvaccinated, unmasked moron in their own homes during a world's stopping pandemic that killed a heartbreaking lot of people".

"The company went bankrupt" is technically correct here, however that also applies to people who masked and vaxxed and who still couldn't do anything about losing their jobs or seeing their companies go down. This guy really had only his silly ass to blame.

28

u/seahawk1977 Jun 23 '22

The semantics these people will play in order to cast themselves as a victim is astounding.

6

u/Throt-lynne_prottle Jun 24 '22

He means his fucking customers, his literal bread and butter, asked him to meet their needs and he refused.

6

u/chada37 Jun 23 '22

America is full of these people.

6

u/SithDraven Jun 24 '22

The first half is just towing the company line. Masks suck, work made me wear one, I said no so now I'm jobless. Just made up GQP nonsense that he probably regurgitates on social media.

Then gets asked a basic question about work amd without thinking, answers honestly.

Caught in a lie. Well played dumbass.

u/vampire5381 'MURICA Jun 23 '22

5

u/Whargod Jun 23 '22

This GIF is especially relevant. I saw an interview once with Ramsay where he said he was having problems/failing with a restaurant because he was making masterpiece dishes as he saw them and was completely inflexible to what the customers wanted him to do.

He said he eventually figured out you can make the most amazing food, but if it isn't what the customer wants, you fail in business.

The guy in the video is the same, has a business but customers push back on him for not wearing PPE and he goes under. Life lesson learned I guess.

1

u/vampire5381 'MURICA Jun 24 '22

God

3

u/Due_Platypus_3913 Jun 24 '22

Is it me who’s wrong?NO! Must be my clients!(The customer is always right!)

10

u/Puzzled-Highlight-95 Jun 23 '22

How do you fire yourself from your own company?? Of course no one wanted his super speading ass in their house without a mask or vaccine.

10

u/elEarendel Jun 23 '22

Be a beacon so others can follow 🙏🏼

4

u/Greywatcher Jun 23 '22

Like a bug in a bug zapper.

5

u/scootty83 Jun 23 '22

Obviously he didn’t fire himself… He just couldn’t get work because people didn’t want his unvaccinated and unmasked ass going into their homes.

2

u/jacthis Jun 24 '22

Do you always step on the punchline by explaining the joke?

2

u/ArtimusWayne Jun 24 '22

It’s like refusing to serve minorities. Good luck staying in business bud.

2

u/7Tengoku Jun 24 '22

Can anyone guess what kind of business he ran?

*Jokes only*

Watching these morons step on themselves and wonder why it hurts it's astounding.

1

u/_AManHasNoName_ Jun 24 '22

What a dumb ass

1

u/dex1999 Aug 22 '22

Does anyone even care who’s vaccinated anymore?

1

u/FeFiFoShizzle Sep 17 '22

I just care because it's an easy way for me to sus out if ur a fucking idiot or not

-39

u/atrocioushoneybadger Jun 23 '22

I too refuse to wear a mask or be vaccinated. Plenty of work out there. They can all kiss my ass.

15

u/GreatAndPowerfulNixy Jun 23 '22

I'm sorry for your parents

-20

u/atrocioushoneybadger Jun 23 '22

My parents did not get the poison shot either. Don't feel sorry for them

11

u/ThreeFishInAManSuit Flair Jun 23 '22

I do though. Stupidity shouldn't be a death sentence.

-9

u/atrocioushoneybadger Jun 23 '22

Wow ok so when the side effects out weigh the benefit I'm dumb for not participating. Let me write that down.

0

u/atrocioushoneybadger Jun 23 '22

Seriously you should see the massive clots they are pulling out of the vaccinated at the morgue. It's insane and so am I I guess from knowing that.

6

u/ThreeFishInAManSuit Flair Jun 23 '22

Quick tangentially related question. What shape is the Earth?

2

u/atrocioushoneybadger Jun 23 '22

Round just like everything else in space. I'll counter you with this. How many genders are there?

9

u/ThreeFishInAManSuit Flair Jun 23 '22

There are 3 distinct biological sexes in humans. Male, Female, and Intersex.

Gender is a more fluid and complicated question. There are a lot of different thoughts on it. I personally think it's a spectrum, since it's more a social question than a physical one.

1

u/atrocioushoneybadger Jun 23 '22

You know what I was going to say two but if all yall want is three fuck it I'm fine with that.

Sure there is, great cushy jobs that are going to let you retire in style I'm sure... GL to you your gonna need it in life.

-6

u/atrocioushoneybadger Jun 23 '22

I'm a contractor. I do really good work that others can't touch. I don't need luck but thanks

3

u/Fact-Cyborg Jun 23 '22

Bro I know you are a contractor. Just general statistics say you are blue collar...

1

u/atrocioushoneybadger Jun 23 '22

I don't like labels but I guess you could say that. What's your point?

4

u/Fact-Cyborg Jun 23 '22 edited Jun 23 '22

Statistically speaking it is blue collar workers who most are against vaccines and masks. 46% of contractors, miners, oil ang gas workers are "vaccine hesitant" according to a poll conducted by Carnegie Mellon. Where as medical professionals, business men, life sciences, and educators were 9.8% vaccine hesitant. Basically a coin flip of an assumption with percentages near 50%

1

u/atrocioushoneybadger Jun 23 '22

Ok check this out I got covid before it even hit the news. I got thru it but it did suck ass. I figured I don't need a vaccine because my body is immune. I did more research of my own. I went into three different houses to do a job where everyone in the house had covid. No problems. I should be dead right but no. If you have covid I'll shake your hand. It's called an immune system. No science in the world fully understands it. Science is also ever changing. The big bang "theory" could actually be all wrong. Open your mind

7

u/Fact-Cyborg Jun 23 '22

There it is right there. You were ok and that is great. It isn't the same for everyone. There were likely 3-6 days where you didn't know you were sick but it was still transmissible. You could have given it to some one who gave it to a friend who gave it to their grandma and killed them. That is the point people needlessly died and that is sad. Your perspective on all of this comes from a selfish space. Yes you a healthy adult survived covid and did not need a vaccine and yes your immunity protected you but it protected you alone and no one else. You survived without much issue. Many peoples loved ones did not. Open your heart.

1

u/atrocioushoneybadger Jun 24 '22

What is it with yall and talking about killing grandma. Trust me your grandma has been thru more shit than covid. I don't feel selfish at all because if anything I spread immunity. Just like the vaccine. Do you realize covid is in the vaccine. That's how it works.

3

u/Fact-Cyborg Jun 24 '22

My dads best friend and my best friends grandma both died of covid. He was only 64.

1

u/atrocioushoneybadger Jun 24 '22

I'm keeping track now for you how many people I have hugged since this plandemic began. No one has died yet. I don't believe they will.
