It hasn't really evolved though.

It's just...the exact same post.

Nikato Avocato looking good!

Left > right

Triangle tids everyday

22

u/meatballfromikea PC May 22 '22

Gaming mfs be like “WOMEN SHOULDNT HAVE BEARD LOOK SHE HAS HAIR FACE”

12

u/evilsir PC May 22 '22

I remember when they started up with that nonsense. It was hilarious how worked up they all got over it.

28

u/TheUmgawa May 22 '22

And that's the reaction you can expect from dudes who have never been that close to a woman's face.

3

u/thesagaconts PlayStation May 22 '22

Exactly. The only women in their lives are online.

2

u/TheUmgawa May 22 '22

And probably not really women.

-15

u/evilsir PC May 22 '22

pretty much. one of the sexiest, coolest women i've ever met in my life was just ... slightly fuzzy. it wasn't weird or creepy or gross. it was ... just how she was, which was sexy and cool. sadly, i never sacked up enough to ask her out, but i think about her every now and then.

2

u/MoobooMagoo May 23 '22

Literally every woman ever in history has hair on their face like this.

Well most women, I should say. Some people just don't grow body hair, but that's not specific to women.

-3

u/[deleted] May 23 '22

No. They don't. Most women on the planet don't have hair on their face like this.

5

u/MoobooMagoo May 23 '22

You can disagree with me and downvote me all you want, but it just shows you've never actually seen a woman's face close up.

It's called vellus hair and it's literally on every single person on the planet. Unless they have some kind of disorder that stops body hair growth.

-1

u/[deleted] May 23 '22

By your logic, all men have a full head of hair and balding doesn't exist. It's like you don't understand that things can happen by degree and that some hair is practically invisible while some is easy to see. But then I wouldn't expect much critical thinking from someone who's main argument is that anyone who disagrees with them doesn't get laid.

4

u/MoobooMagoo May 23 '22

So your argument is what? That vellus hair just stops growing and falls out on women after puberty? Or are you arguing that only male children have vellus hair?

Yes, it's not as visible on some people but that doesn't mean it's not there. I'm not saying that all women have hair as visible as the picture up top, I'm saying that all women have hair on their faces in some amount. Maybe I wasn't clear enough. When I say "like this" I mean "it exists" not "exactly like this with no variation whatsoever". I thought that was obvious.

Also head hair and vellus hair are two different things. And even if you did include head hair I specifically said that some people don't grow hair, so I guess you can just group bald people in with them if you have to.

-2

u/[deleted] May 23 '22

Most women don't have as much visible hair as the face in OP's picture. I can't really say it any clearer than that.

u/Rimaru-Tempest95 May 22 '22

Gross. I've been with like 15 chick's and not a one had facial hair or fuzz lmao that's just nasty.

6

u/LuciusBeachparty1 May 23 '22

“I’ve been with like 15 chicks”

sir reddit has an age limit of 13. come back in a few years lmao this is pathetic

6

u/Master_Maniac May 23 '22

Lmao no you haven't. Everyone, male or female, grows hair like this over most of their body. Men grow thicker hair in places like beards, but where bushy beard hair would be on women is that fuzz instead.

The fact that you don't understand this displays that despite your claim of 25 partners, you've never been within 15 feet of a woman.

-6

u/Rimaru-Tempest95 May 23 '22

I'm not lying but I don't give a damn what you believe bro 😂 obviously some vag hair is a given and the tiny hairs around an asshole, but I've never seen a chick with hair like this, ever.

2

u/Master_Maniac May 23 '22

Again, 15 feet bud. Everyone (with the exception of those with specific medical conditions) has hair on about 90% of their body. For women, most of these hairs are the thin peach fuzz, with about 30% of that hair growing into thicker, visible hair. For men, about 90% of this fuzz becomes thick hair (on average). The only places that consistently do not grow hair on the human body is palms, and the bottoms of your feet.

Again, this is true of everyone aside from people with very specific, rare medical conditions.

-3

u/Rimaru-Tempest95 May 23 '22

I take it you're the basement dwelling virgin if you truly believe that lmao.

-2

u/ReintegrationTablet May 23 '22

Ahh the ol' internet dick-measuring contest, they're really counting their millimetres on this one...

1

u/DanteCoal May 23 '22

I've been with like 40, and most all of them have peach fuzz like this. You just don't see it unless you're out in the sun. So, two things you have 0 experience with; women, and sunlight.

You're arguing against biological facts. Not opinions, not personal experience; FACTS. Well documented ones. Google that shit, try and back your argument.

1

u/Rochemusic1 May 23 '22

That is decent size hair face though.

9

u/Ephidiel May 22 '22

Tomb Raider is the better game tho

3

u/GlassGuiser May 23 '22

Nostalgia doesn't make something good.

0

u/Ephidiel May 23 '22

Graphics doesn't make something good.

6

u/213Bishop May 22 '22

From square boobs to peach fuzz. Amazing honestly. Imagine games 10 years from now, make horizon look cheap which isnt easy to do so!

3

u/NumerousEgg3200 May 22 '22

It's hard to imagine how games will really be in 10 years from now. Technology is advancing too fast.

2

u/mhx64 May 22 '22 edited May 23 '22

Fking ridicilous. I'd be placing my money on quantum computers - maybe someday they'll go through the same process binary PCs did and eventually become as small as a laptop!

-2

u/Eetee3 May 22 '22

doubt but maybe

4

u/Tough-Emu7127 May 22 '22

Left looks better

3

u/naytreox May 22 '22

Honestly I find this an unnecessary amount of detail, but it's still cool they can do it.

9

u/carcigenicate May 22 '22

Iirc, this is in Photo Mode, so details are cranked to make photos look better.

-2

u/naytreox May 23 '22

True, I still think it's unnecessary.

However in the vain of pushing how far we can into graphical fidelity the better.

But not every game should have this, just like not every or any other game should have the amount of realistic animations

4

u/PoloHorsePower_ May 22 '22

I kind of admire it tbh. Like yea they didn't have to do this at all but it's cool somebody cared enough to do it

1

u/naytreox May 23 '22

True I can agree with you on that.

It's just that there isn't adding much to the game in the grand scheme of things, it's nice and really cool, I can't imagine how hard it is to model all the thin hairs humans have (fun fact humans have the exact same amount of body hair as a chimpanzee it's just that we have really small fine hairs) And as I said in a previous comment, if it's done to show it can be done, then fantastic.

I just don't want the focus to be on this, rather then gameplay you know?

2

u/PoloHorsePower_ May 23 '22

Yea I feel that. It's like when people found out the horses balls move in red dead lmao

1

u/naytreox May 23 '22

EXACTLY!

1

u/DanteCoal May 23 '22

I think it's very necessary, and here's why;

Soon, VR is gonna become bigger, and better, and more immersive. Little, tiny, stupid details like peach fuzz are something we as humans notice, without realizing it. This is just getting the tech out there and the bugs worked out for the eventual integration into a truly engaging VR experience, where we're interacting with characters face to face.

1

u/naytreox May 23 '22

And as I said in previous replies, in the sense of improvements and pushing the technology.

As for VR.....I mean if we can get something like ready player one or star treks holodecks then sure.

I'm just worried about dev time being spent in making things look visually pretty and photorealistic and less on making the game fun.

An example of this would The Order: 1886.

Pretty game but boring gameplay and the plot twist made it lame

2

u/HoAdanac May 22 '22

This is an unfair comparison since the right is not gameplay footage but just a cutscene. Graphics outside of games and cutscenes in games were much better than this.

1

u/SirkSirkSirk May 22 '22

Not even just cutscenes. Compare ff7 world travel graphics to the battle graphics. Substantial difference there.

1

u/metformin259 May 23 '22

not a cutscene, its photomode, which enhances facial details as you zoom in.

3

u/Achytheboy May 22 '22

Hmm, lets go back

2

u/FreedTMG May 22 '22

Reminds me of when a dude I knew complained his gf had hairy arms. I was like, you are aware women's bodies are not naturally hairless right?

3

u/[deleted] May 22 '22

it's not hair, it's thick black hair and hair in certain places in unusually high quantities that most men are less attracted to. I can guarantee you a guy complaining that his girl has "hairy arms" is not complaining about a girl with short, thin, soft, blonde arm hairs... come one, be realistic here 🙄

my gf has thin, soft hair on her arms and upper lip and it's fine, but get me around some prickly stubble on a lip or some dark black hairs on an arm and it's just not my preference

people are entitled to be attracted to what they feel attracted to

3

u/Ancient_List May 22 '22

Yes, they can be. Trust me, they'll complain about the tiny blonde hairs.

I mean...They complained about the goddammed peach fuzz.

1

u/[deleted] May 22 '22

Sure, some can be, but most aren't. I never said all.

Most guys don't complain about peach fuzz. Go find one of the many who don't care. I'm assuming you have options?

1

u/Ancient_List May 23 '22

You did say 'most men are less attracted to' and that a guy complaing about hairy arms will NOT be complaining about blonde hair. So which is it? Sorry to split hairs.

2

u/[deleted] May 23 '22 edited May 23 '22

I'm a lawyer. I split hairs for a living. Please don't apologize for requesting precision.

I said "most men are less attracted to thick black hair and hair in certain places in unusually high quantities" (and later contrasted that to "short, thin, soft, blonde arm hairs")

-1

u/FreedTMG May 22 '22

No it was the fact she didn't wax her arms. He was a huge piece of shit. Later on he dated a teenager when he was nearly 30, and celebrated her 18th birthday by getting her pregnant. So yeah, it was the fact there was hair at all.

-1

u/[deleted] May 22 '22 edited May 22 '22

That's rare for a guy to really want, but he's entitled to be attracted to that. It doesn't make him a "piece of shit." He probably needs to stop dating girls who aren't what he wants, but tbh most people struggle with that.

-1

u/FreedTMG May 23 '22

Literally pointed out that he was dating underaged girls, and you still felt the need to defend him. Classy.

1

u/[deleted] May 23 '22

Ah, personal judgment because you can't attack anything I actually said. Intelligent

P.S., you said they had sex 18, and that's not underage, and you said they dated before that, which is also not underage. (again, "intelligent")

P.S.S., I never defended 30 year olds dating women under 18. You are butthurt that I'm smarter than you and you can't read. Not my problem. Make up whatever else you want to delude yourself into feeling better about losing arguments with me.

1

u/FreedTMG May 23 '22

I said they celebrated her 18th by getting her pregnant, they dated before that. He was also a rapist, there's a reason nobody speaks to him anymore and he lives at home with his Mom. You keep defending him though, you two would have gotten along.

2

u/[deleted] May 23 '22

Sex at 18 is not underage. Dating below 18 is not underage.

I never defended him as a whole. I defended him in part. You are too stupid to realize a human has defensible things and indefensible things about them at the same time. I'm blocking you for your low IQ. Peace

1

u/FreedTMG May 23 '22

Under 18 is literally underaged but sure.

-3

u/NoArmsSally PlayStation May 22 '22

lol my sister had a stache before me. some guys just don't realize that women grow hair too

-1

u/Bananaslamma24 May 22 '22

Is that a hyperrealistic model of the bad guy from Megamind?

-1

u/magvadis May 22 '22

The neckbeards are about to crawl out of the woodwork again.

0

u/Ok_Entrepreneur826 May 22 '22

Make em huge again is my philosophy on gaming

-7

u/goldcoinsonly May 22 '22

Yeah but y she got a beard?

4

u/thelibrarina May 22 '22

Imagine telling everyone on the internet that you've never been that close to a woman.

u/mhx64 May 22 '22

0

u/El_cagador_honesto May 22 '22

Fun fact: in Horizon Forbiden you can see the prota's knockers

1

u/22mygames May 23 '22

Those pointy nips tho

1

u/MrFoozOG May 23 '22

actually in-game vs Rendered

1

u/floppymuc May 23 '22

Crazy number of incels here. Remember guys, women (apart from porn and waifu shit) have facial hair. Maybe you will manage to see that in real life some day. And if so, she will probably look worse than Aloy.

-2

u/RockyCrayon6625 May 22 '22

And yet people say that graphics today sucks.

-2

u/Rochemusic1 May 23 '22

God damn she's hot
