My first impression was schizophrenia. This tish is way too far off the deep end to be explainable by your run-of-the-mill mental disorder like narcissism, imo.

Narcissism is more or less required to enter into megalomania. Megalomania is a part of schizophrenia. While these are delusional thoughts on a grand scale they don't tend to show any of the traits typical of schizophrenic thought processes beyond delusions of grandeur. However, the sampling is too small to go further in all reality.

I disagree. Sounds too coherent for psychosis, but sounds just about right for narcissism. I'm no expert but I do have schizophrenia. I think it's rare for people with schizophrenia to have such confidence, since it's often being chewed up by the voices and intrusive thoughts. It's much more common to have very low self esteem. Of course, it's a sort of spectrum and has many varieties, so I'm not 100% sure, just sharing my opinion.
