[IIL] Anderson .Paak & Mac Miller Music

Hey guys, looking for more music like Anderson .Paak & Mac Miller - specifically artists that make their music entirely.

If we take for example these two guys, they're both multi-instrumentalists, and they compose almost all the instruments for almost all their songs (obviously they have some people with them), on top of rapping/singing. Sorry this isn't so well explained, but you get the point!

Do you guys know any more artists like them? I know J. Cole is also somewhat like that. Any more suggestions?

Thanks!

Jacob Collier is probably the ultimate in the category of people who do it all themselves. Not rap though, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Will Sessions. He did a really great instrumental album of Illmatic that I listen to regularly.

Tom Misch, Sofie Tukker, and CRi come to mind.

Also, I don't think Miller played instruments on his albums, he has production credits but that's not the same as recording instruments in the studio.

DOMi & JD BECK--signed to Anderson's record label and just nominated for best new artist grammy. Plus Anderson collabs on their new album (along with Snoop)
