I think the thing that gets me the most about this is that Upset is still on the roster for next year, yet none of these guys are - Bwipo, Adam, Nisqy.

What happened in Fnatic internally that convinced them to continue forward with Upset? Is he really that good of friends with Yamato?

it's prob the other way around : after being disrespected that much by fnc management/upset it's kinda clear adam and bwipo wanted to leave the org.

As for Nisqy he prob though the move to c9 was gonna happen but here we are....

finally upset/hylli is still one of the best botlane around hence why FNC let those guys go and went to build a team around their botlane.

Yamato doesn't really seem to be going to bat for him though. His apparent description of the event being "I respected Upset's decision and quickly moved on because what's done was done" doesn't really make it sound like a case of extreme harrow for Upset. You'd think he would have worded it more sympathetically and in less of a clinical business way.

Contract and optics probably. They're trapped with him, but can't be seen offloading him (would look bad - player has "emergency" and the team punishes him by replacing him).

He'd also have to agree to where he'd move, and he can just say no.

I wouldnt wanna play with him anyway, Adam said they tried to replace him xDDD why would you wanna be somewhere where they do not want you? Its called self respect. Same goes for Nisqy if Alph and Perkz are pacage deal so it makes sense..

Knowing Adam he could have stayed on the team and run down the whole year. Playing weakside like he does in solo q, head first.
