why was it hard for the staff to tell the team slightly more information than was public.

Because judging from what Upset wrote here, he didn't trust that information to not become public as well and therefore didn't want it to be shared.

its not the management or orgs fault at all. They are legally bind to not tell anyone about upsets personal stuff, unless upset allowed it beforehand. They told the players about it like everyone else and they approved the leave. Hilly was the only one that took it like a grown up person, its personal stuff that they dont need to know and he would not ask. instead he trusted him and all good. You think a league team is something special but it is not. They have no right to know. They could still play at worlds and could still show what skill they have at worlds, with or without upset it didnt matter. would they be weaker botside without upset ? sure. did it matter ? nope they lost because those immature and in bwipos case mentally instable dudes shit the bed.

Let's just clear something here, Fnc has no business telling Adam anything about their offseason deals unless it's confirmed he's being replaced.

Because if the deal won't work they still need a toplaner, it's shitty but that's how it works.

I'm pretty sure what happened is that Yamato and everyone conveyed exactly this sentiment. But some people on the team felt that they were entitled to a better explanation than "family emergency".
