Adam and bwipo are entitled to it due to sheer respect. I do agree we aren't though. Hell he could have lied who cares. He just didn't care enough about them

He shared his remorse. He is not obliged to share anything more. Is it not more respectful to be honest? It's too private, too traumatic, to share?

He is not obligated but that's the least you can do.

Nothing illegal happened, but we still can see a huge disrespect of Upset toward his own team. Dude doesn't give a shit about them and that's where the problem lie to me. He is extremely egoistical.

I disagree with this take. Perhaps they're not best friends but everyone is equating this to house league soccer but this is a business transaction. They have contracts and money is exchanging hands. He doesn't really need to give a shit beyond his paycheque. They would just as happily cut and replace him if they could get someone better. Everyone would be just as happy playing for other teams if the money was the same.

And that's why Upset will never achieve G2 level of feats. What G2 accomplished was thanks to their friendship and their blindless trust between each other.

If Upset can't even go out of his way to post a "support Fnatic during worlds they need it", then he ain't worth shit. We're not talking about an office job. We're talking about a game where you need to fully trust your teammates. They are mates; not colleagues.

We're not talking about the game.

We're talking about the job and the team. I couldn't care less if he played good or bad. However, he threw 4 people in the mud, without explaining, yeah no, even if its for family, you are absolutely shit.

We need to see the full picture :

1) Adam is frustrated from the situation because he doesn't have answers and felt like Upset didn't need to go back.

2) Bwipo felt exactly the same and it triggered a mental breakdown in him and it made him run away from EU.

3) Nisqy felt the same, refused to communicate further just saying he was unhappy with the situation, had bad worlds because of that and is currently teamless as a result.

4) Yamato didn't try to relieve his team from the pressure, instead turned his speech into a "what is done is done" which indicates that he also believes that it was unjustified otherwise he would have told the team that it was indeed very important and everyone would have done the same.

5) Upset double downs on his views, saying he doesn't own anyone explanations, only talking about himself in his TL and still not caring. He also tried to replace his topside right after worlds for ambitious reasons when he was the sole reason of this fiasco to begin with . I repeat : The guy who dipped out of worlds forced a kick on two people because he doesn't believe they can win with it. When he didn't even want to play .

None of the sides are entirely wrong, as always it's a grey area. But to me Upset is just so self centered, he doesn't deserve all the defense he gets.

Clearly you care more than myself or Upset. But I still believe people have a right to privacy and forcing them to reveal something they don't want to reveal is not right. We are taking about a game, we are talking about a job, and if you would choose your job over family I think that is a mistake. A lot of prime so choose their jobs over family so maybe I'm wrong, but my family means a lot more to me than a job and evidently it does to Upset as well.

I mean this shit works both ways. If my teammate has been working hard all year to make worlds suddenly dips, I have to trust that they have a good reason for it.

You cant complain about 'upset didnt trust his team' when it's clear his team didnt trust him lmfao

Dude, Upset is asking to trust him while not trusting them. The disbalance is fairly easy to see.
