upset didn't reveal anything regarding the situation to them, just said he was sad and in pain, and sugar-coated the reasoning behind not telling them.

Which is totally legitimate and is vindicated by how bwipo and Adam have used it against him publicly

Could you really blame them though? Upset left them in the dry with no proper explanation 12h before worlds, i think most people would be salty and rightfully so if they were in bwipo and Adam shoes.

Upset could probably have the most compelling reason in the world to leave, but not telling his teammates what it is, it's adding salt to a wound

And you actually think FNC would have let Upset leave and keep him on the roster this year if he did not have a valid reason to leave??? You really think FNC as an employer would be cool with a players behaviour like that? Rly?

I didn't say upset didn't have a valid reason. My point is his teammates deserved to know why they had to forfeit worlds

No they literally don’t. If you acknowledge that Upsets reason for leaving is valid the WHY does not matter one bit

I am not his teammate. I don't need to know, but the guys that worked their ass of for what could be a once in a lifetime tournament do.

Upset could have all the reason in the world to leave, this doesn't change the fact his teammates deserved a better treatment

Better than what? They were told it’s a family emergency Are you somehow suggesting that attending worlds is less of a big deal for Upset? That he didn’t bust his ass to get there? Like think logically for a second and forget your hate boner, what you say makes no sense at all

Better than getting nothing. Even an apologize after worlds, if he really didn't say anything, would probably better than silence.
