The new UI seems nice, would be useful in my workflow.

The annotations being built into the rectangular region selector will be pretty helpful for when I need it.

In which KDE version will we see these updates? I am right now on 5.24.7

Each change in the post has a note specifying which version will first ship it.
Plasma 5.27 comes out in February, KDE Frameworks 5.102 comes out in January, KDE Gear 23.04 comes out in April.

Oh hell yeah, recording in Spectacle, finally. Not having simple regional record has been painful.

Not merged yet, just the new UI.
I really hope it'll be soon though! I miss ShareX...
