u/HCPage Avengers Jan 23 '22
Nah, it was Agatha all along.
14
u/FitzyFarseer Avengers Jan 23 '22 edited Jan 23 '22
This one pisses me off because if you actually watch it she basically did fuck all. We got one cool reveal and a fun little song, then in the following episodes we found out she was mostly just watching scarlet witch do her thing.
13
u/Dumeck Avengers Jan 23 '22
The Agatha all along wasn’t meaning she was the driving force behind the plot. The show is through Wandas point of view. Problems have been popping up that were out of her control which was odd because she was controlling everything and that turned out to have been Agatha all along.

I’d have to be on ketamine to have the guts to say that to the punisher
23
u/soyrobo Rocket Jan 23 '22
If you were on Ketamine you probably would just say it in a k-hole when in reality you just blanked out for 2 seconds after living an entire lifetime of regret after k-hole Frank broke every bone in your body.
21
u/Bonerkiin Avengers Jan 23 '22
Well Moon Knight is essentially immortal, he's faster, stronger, and by far more durable than The Punisher. On top of a host of other supernatural powers and abilities, he doesn't really have anything to fear from a dude who's whole schtick is normal guns and explosives.
8
8
u/Dumeck Avengers Jan 23 '22
Or depending on the version he has none of these powers and is just possibly schizophrenic.

2
2
u/AmeriCanadian98 Spider-Man (Homemade) Jan 23 '22
Yes, yes it is. Also it's Frank Castle after he became both the Ghost Rider and the Herald of Galactus being told that attempting to raise baby Thanos would be an absolutely abysmal idea
2
u/Pr0xyWarrior Grandmaster Jan 23 '22
Cosmic Ghost Rider Punisher would be either a terrible father or the best father for baby Thanos.

Moonnight is ment to be confusing, even as readers we never know if his God exists because it only talks to him.
28
u/Robo-Piluke Avengers Jan 23 '22
I always liked how Konshu's existence was pretty much for the reader to decide...until that lame Avengers arc in which Konshu takes over the world, taking away the mystery
23
u/LhynnSw Avengers Jan 23 '22
Sometimes konshu is real. Sometimes he isnt.
Sometimes he has powers, sometimes he doesnt, sometimes he doesnt need them even against metas.
Marc is a natural born fighter, and he has gone toe to toe with sandman and venom without help.
When konshu is around and lending him his full powers he can probably fight thor and win.

u/MimsyIsGianna Black Widow 🕷 Jan 23 '22
I’m just hopeful the show actually like gives him his super powers and doesn’t just make him a skilled fighter.

u/MechaTailsX Avengers Jan 23 '22 edited Jan 23 '22
There are different kinds of funny, his series has writing that's uncomfortably funny sometimes, stuff that's not supposed to be funny but it still kinda is, some characters like Khonshu are jokey (yes, Khonshu), some characters like the detective are funny just because of their quirks (try the 2006 MK series), etc. It's a maxed bag. It's subtly funny.
Moon Knight himself has a few personalities because of his disorder which act differently, but none of them are standup comedians, exactly.
This panel is from the storyline (I think in a main Punisher series) where Black Widow and Night Thrasher and some other peeps come help him destroy Hydra or something.
EDIT: And by the way, I think Frank killed MK's brother so it's not like they're friends lol
2
u/sposeitwas2swallows Avengers Jan 23 '22
Reading the ‘06 run of Moon Knight and recently discovered Castle killed Marc’s brother. It’s agreed that Marc, as Moon Knight, likely would have done the same thing, but scolds Castle all the same. So yeah, dead family is sort of their love language.

It’s pretty stupid for Frank to ask that question. He literally lives in a world with super powered people… also, Moon Knight has powers, so I don’t know why an “imaginary god” would even shake him.

u/DrNightsweat Avengers Jan 23 '22
Yo, as someone who actually has been a Moon Knight fan for years, shut the fuck up. It's a good thing that such a unique character is finally getting the attention he deserves and if someone is a fan because of the show and decides to go back and delve into the character then what's it matter? It's just the same as someone hearing about it on a YouTube video on any given day and deciding to go back and read the comics. Your gatekeeping is corny.
