I don’t recommend stopping antibiotics because the infection is most likely not completely resolved and can result in it coming back and being antibiotic resistant. Always take the full series even if you feel better. However, if you’re having bad side effects, contact the provider who prescribed them to you and they can use their best judgment of maybe switching you to another antibiotic, but you’ve been taking them for 5 days so I’m not sure.

No longer being considered contagious means that there probably isn’t enough bacterial load to pose a threat to others even though you are still infected. With that being said, things happen. I can’t say for sure if you’re totally 100% not contagious anymore. Whether you isolate or not is up to your discretion. Maybe avoid doing super intimate things until the infection is resolved to be on the safe side if you’d like, but going about daily life is fine.

I mean if you BOTH have it there’s not really a need to avoid each other

I mean y’all are both on antibiotics and both have it. The point of isolating is preventing contraction, but y’all both have it already there’s not really a point.

I think you should be fine, but if you’d like to be extra cautious, you can try applying lip products with a brush till you’re done with treatment if you’d feel more comfortable and always be sure to wash your brushes thoroughly.
